Edit: I took my dress to my regular tailor and she salvaged it within a few days for literally a quarter of the cost of tailoring at TBC. Mia's Creative Tailoring is the absolute best! She said she gets a lot of dresses folks who buy here and need a last minute fix. So disappointed I wasted money on their services.

A service that I greatly appreciated was that the shop allowed me to come in prior to traveling to Chicago for my wedding and helped me pack everything in my carry on suitcase. It was so reassuring knowing my dress was traveling right by my side to avoid any possible luggage issues with the airline. She presented herself as "the best in the business," so I went ahead with it, trusting the recommendation. I only saw Donna Beth once, during that initial consultation at Little White Dress. After paying, all my subsequent check-up fittings took place at her studio in Cherry Creek, where she wasn't present. Instead, I was handed off to her assistants. This was disappointing, especially since my alterations were relatively simple--just taking in the dress and shortening it slightly. When it came time to pick up the dress, none of the changes had been done correctly. With only three days until I was scheduled to leave for my destination wedding in Cabo, my dress was still too long and about an inch too big in the waist. After they reassured me they'd work overnight, I returned the next day, but the fit was still off. I ended up spending three hours in her shop while her assistants & seamstress kept running the dress back & forth to the back making rushed adjustments. The experience was stressful and disheartening. At one point, I was even calling other alteration specialists for help out of sheer frustration. With this first email I'm told the designer is running behind and the dress will now be in August. I contact them in August, and am told the designer is so far behind they are going by wedding date priorty. My dress date is now in September, and my wedding is at the beginning of November. I keep my cool about it. But then.....I email them in September and they tell me it will now be October 5th. At this point a huge red flag was raised for me and I knew something was wrong and it's time to get my detective skills out. I make some calls and found out my dress is finished and has been sitting at the designers for awhile. Why is this? They are not currently shipping items to Luxe. And this typically only happens when someone isn't paying their bills. They've lied to me for months and stressed me out about this. Yet still when I call they won't give me a good answer, and they have the nerve to tell me 'oh it's ok your dress will still be here in time for your wedding.' No it's not ok.
