I'm composing this review after several years of marriage because I wanted to ensure that my assessment is not influenced by the intense emotions associated with wedding planning. I engaged Lilli's services because she claimed to have experience with my chosen venue in Aspen. However, when I inquired about my entrance, she couldn't provide a clear answer. On the actual wedding day, she seemed unsure of how I should make my entrance down the aisle. She later mentioned that she had given me options for the entrance just moments before I was due to walk down. Why should such a critical decision be left until the most nerve-wracking moment? Lastly, we had a flower girl and her mother who arrived late to the rehearsal, meaning we couldn't practice their roles. Lilli failed to communicate the necessary instructions to them after they entered, leading to the flower girl becoming upset and wandering aimlessly during the ceremony. Lilli Black is amazing. Me and my fiance have been planning our wedding recently, and we have been stressed to no end as our initial location fell through. We reached out to Lilli Black on a whim, not expecting a reply, as we are working with a very small budget. How wrong we were! Lilli didn't just reply, she replied at 9:00pm at night 10 minutes after my initial query. She even conversed with me for over an hour, providing me insights, general advice and really calming my nerves! The next day we were in her office! She gave us the full run down on a typical budget, potential place we can host it at, and completely different styles of wedding. We haven't even engaged her yet, and she was professional to the T, providing us insight in the spirit of good will. She has hosted 1000+ weddings and the experience showed in her candor, knowledge base and demeanor. Where to begin with this team....we met with a couple wedding planners prior to meeting with Lilli of Sweetly Paired, and it only took a few minutes for us to know she and her team were who we wanted. We chose the "day of" package, but it was so much more than day of. Lilli was fantastic with helping us come up with our concept. She wasn't afraid to tell us things that would and would not work with her incredible experience planning weddings. And then Hannah became our contact, sending us a weekly "Wedding Workup" emails to make sure we were on track with everything. Hannah was amazing. We worked with Lilli for our wedding in Beaver Creek, CO in July 2016--she was both our day-of-coordinator and florist. She did an impeccable job in every aspect and made sure that our wedding day was flawless. Lilli started the "day of" work more than a few months out from the wedding. I emailed her with vendor information and general questions and she always got back to me promptly. I had the opportunity to fly out to Colorado before the wedding and she took the time to sit down with my mom and me to talk through every aspect of the timeline and sketch out the decorations and florals. During the wedding weekend, she and her assistant, Gracie (who was also amazing!) drove out to Beaver Creek and ran the rehearsal the night before. The next morning they were up early delivering bouquets, boutonnières, picking up last minute reception decorations, etc. We had a LOT of moving parts with our wedding, including a huge wedding party, getting guests to the top of the mountain and then riding the gondolas down the mountain after the ceremony, etc. Lilli did a seamless job navigating through the day and made sure that I was never made aware of any issues that came up (I still don't know if any did!) My *now husband* and I just got married last week in Keystone, Colorado on top of a mountains and we couldn't have done it with Lilli and the Sweetly Paired team! Darren and I just moved to Colorado and were living here for about 5 months before we got engaged so we had no idea where to even look for venues or even gone to any weddings here to get suggestions from friends. I HIGHLY recommend Sweetly Paired for couples who just moved to Colorado!! They literally took such good care of us! I found Sweetly Paired online and it was the best decision we made for ourselves! It is possible to plan a wedding in 5 months with Sweetly Paired by your side! The Sweetly Paired team were awesome with keeping in touch with weekly emails and the weekend/day of was just perfect! We chose the "Partial Planning" Package which was perfect for us. We still wanted to be a part of the planning process! Being from out of town and being new Coloradans, we literally had no idea where to start! Lilli has a lot of connections (florist, DJ, photographer/videographer and so on...) and made it very easy for us to find other vendors that she works closely with. However, if you choose to pick another vendor, they were super supportive of it and by no means try to push their vendors on you! The week of the wedding, I was nervous and anxious about the weather since we were getting married on top of of a mountain (I mean, come on, what's a Colorado wedding without views?!) and the forecast was showing lighting bolts and rain the whole weekend of our wedding. Lilli was super helpful with easing my mind and making sure that if we needed to bring up umbrellas or blankets, she would take care of it!! The day of the wedding went so smoothly. My family and friends literally didn't have to do anything! Lilli and Hannah took care of it all! They brought blankets and umbrellas just in case but the weather ended up clearing and it was perfect. In fact, any time I had concerns or questions, Lilli was SO easy to get a hold of!! I need to start writing this review by saying I was an uncommon bride. I am Brazilian, had 4 weddings (with the same guy), and had a bunch of specific requests for each of the weddings. I wasn't easy to deal with! Lilli was our wedding planner for our big wedding that happened in Granby, but she also taught me really well how a great WP should be. Thanks to her, I was able to notice that my WP from our Brazilian wedding was a total mess. Lilli had been showing me how great she does her job, that I knew I wanted someone as good as her for our weddings in Brazil. (But I never found anyone as good as Lilli...) When I first read that Lilli was a bridezilla preventer, I started to laugh. I thought that wasn't possible! Do those exist?! Well, let me tell you: YES!!!! Lilli was my fairy godmother. Every time I talked to her, she only brought me solutions to my several questions and requests, with the most amazing energy in the world! She's patient, she's calm, and, for sure, a bridezilla preventer! Most importantly, though, Lilli knows how to throw an AMAZING party!!!! She is not only a wedding planner, guys, I am telling you! Attended a wedding last night at Crooked Willow and was looking forward to a fun time with all our friends. Instead I was shocked at how rude Lilli was to me, the staff and some of the other guests!! I'm not saying she isn't good at what she does but if you like being talked down and feeling you are not worth anything than choose this company. I hope I never have to see her again. Aimee from Sweetly Paired reached out to me on Facebook when I posted in a wedding group that I was looking for a venue. I needed to find a venue somewhere where the altitude wasn't too high as my Grandparents have COPD and can't travel to high altitude locations. She said she could help. My fiance set up a call with her and they discussed her services and she said she'd be able to help us find a venue that fit our needs. However, she sent along the contract for full service wedding planning as opposed to her venue finding service. When we asked her to send over the correct contract, she never responded. We tried to give her the benefit of the doubt since we knew it was peak wedding season and she must be busy. We followed up with her a number of times as we had penciled in a "back up" venue and didn't want to lose our tentative date in case she couldn't help us. We were nervous and didn't want to lose our back up option since so many couples are planning their weddings post-COVID and venues were filling up quickly. Ultimately, she never responded despite being the one that reached out to us and despite our many follow up attempts. Lilli was both our florist, through Bella Calla, and day of wedding coordinator for my daughter at Lakewood Country Club this past weekend. I cannot express how beautiful the flowers were. Lilli met with us months before the wedding and she spoke with my daughter so she could discern her likes and dislikes when it came to color and type of flower. Lilli paid attention to every detail and her crew created magnificent arrangements. In addition, through Sweetly Paired, she was our day of coordinator. I was told this was the best money I would ever spend and that was so true. Through her expertise Lilli suggested beautiful linens, displays, details that I never even considered. It was because of all her suggestions that a lovely wedding was elevated to a magical event. Lilli was always so responsive, answered my million emails quickly. Her sense of humor made for such a wonderful experience. My daughter, her mother in law, and I all just loved her. She is an extremely knowledgeable and talented artist.
