I was first introduced to Allison and As You Wish in 2013, when I was flying out of town weekly for work and spending my weekends in graduate school. As You Wish quickly became irreplaceable. Amongst other things: They arranged cleaning people for my house, got my dry cleaning done, and the million small repairs that come from owning a home. They even got a plumber, handyman, and electrician through in the same afternoon - I couldn't get all those people to return my call in the same week. Arranged a party for 20 people at my house, including catering, a bartender, and someone to clean up afterwards. I had nothing to do but enjoy myself. For larger events, they organized both my graduation party and our wedding reception at local restaurants. Most recently, we moved cross country and the team from As You Wish was there with packing, shipping our cars, day-of-move coordinating, and helping wrap up loose ends after we were gone. I could honestly write a novel about how amazing my experience with As You Wish was, but I'll do my best to keep this short. I was engaged in 2018 with a massive 250 person wedding planned for July of 2020 in my home state of Minnesota. Obviously that had to be cancelled and my now-husband and I were so disappointed. My husband and I decided in September to throw together a small 30 person wedding in Vail on November 6, 2020. We had under 2 months to plan and I was referred to As You Wish by a friend. I personally have worked as a corporate event planner for 5 years and I COULD NOT have gotten this done without my planner, Deb! I had worked with a planner for my Minnesota wedding, and she was great, but Deb and As You Wish took it a whole step further. They of course helped me square away all my wedding vendors and helped me find exactly what I needed. Even more than that though, they used their skills as a concierge service to help me with all the little things normal wedding planning companies don't include in their planning packages. A couple examples of them going above and beyond: Deb personally set up my bridal suite morning brunch and decorated the whole area. We forgot to get baskets to hold the favors and she made a couple trips to the store for those forgotten details. My husband's watch got stuck on his wrist and she was able to find a tiny screw driver to get it off 3 hours before the wedding. She was texting with my Maid of Honor the entire week of the wedding and running the little errands for us since all my guests came in from out of town. These little things made my entire wedding week 1000 times less stressful and I've personally never seen these services offered through other planning companies. Deb was so fun to work with and it truly felt like my planner was just another great friend at my wedding. I would give 100 stars if I could, please use them for all your planning needs :) read more

As You Wish to the rescue! My landlord gave me a tight timeline to move last minute, and I was worried I wouldn't be able to get moved in time. Allison and her team stepped in despite having many other projects going on to help me in a very short window. Packing is such a chore but was so much easier alleviating stress and anxiety so I could make the move in time. Attention to detail in wrapping the most delicate items and especially my kitchen was truly a feat. They arranged movers, packers, and unpackers. After the initial move, they came back and helped me organize my kitchen, office, and closets and even went to the stores to shop for items I now needed in my new place - amazing!! My daughter got married June 29th, 2024 at Coohills. We hired Bree Warot from As You Wish Lifestyle to be our wedding planner. We honestly could not have done it without Bree. Staff late. Mediocre work. More interested in being done and getitng out of there than actually doing work. I was then overcharged on hours and told it was due to "drive time" charges. Suffice it to say, I will not be using this company's services again. Look elsewhere, there are better and more ethical companies to hire. Allison, I appreciate your response and understand long-standing rules but, as most of us have learned, our worlds have changed. Is it possible that your 14-y/o policy is no longer appropriate? I would suggest billing mileage. BTW, you offered reducing the hours you billed me, but never a refund. Additionally, I was billed for 8.5h of time out of which 6h was commute time for your employees. Out of 8.5h of billed time, I got 2h of work done and a 30-minute consultation; that's 6h of drive time. The expense outweighs the service for me. read more

Last weekend I was apart of a wedding that had hired As You Wish to be apart of their big day, and to ensure everything would go accordingly to plan, smoothly. We met the wedding planner Deb the night before for a quick rehearsal and she seemed very nice and it looked like she had everything in order for the ceremony. The following day, us gals arrived to the venue and to be honest I didn't really see Deb at all, until I checked on the groomsmen and they said all they were waiting for was Deb to come and help with the boutonnières. I found a woman who worked at the venue and she said she would grab her for the guys. When we were walking down the aisle, the groomsmen who escorted me started to tell me some very interesting details that happened. When they arrived, Deb had quite the angry attitude and threw the wedding itinerary in the garbage in front of all of them and the mother of the groom, which made her think they did something wrong, she kept stabbing the groomsmen in the chest when she was trying to put the boutonnières on and seemed to not really care about helping them out, and she forgot to grab the father of the bride and include him in the processional. After the ceremony I approached her to make sure she was alright and I helped her goto the bathroom. I asked if she was diabetic because her actions reminded me of some situations I have been apart of in the past and she said "hm I'm going to say yes so they don't know I'm wasted." I was kind of taken back by the response and laughed because I thought she was just joking around and asked her again if she was diabetic and she nodded. I asked if she had eaten anything that day and she shook her head no. So I relayed this information to the mother of the groom and a member of the staff who brought her some dried fruit and OJ to try and raise her sugar levels. I had to run for pictures and when I came back another guest from the wedding was helping her lay down in the bridal suite. She was quite absent for the entirety of the wedding day, and I kept checking on her to make sure she was alright. Post wedding I chatted with a handful of other guests who shared their stories about Deb and one of the groomsmen told me she stated that she just needed another vodka soda when asked if she was alright because she was stumbling, and as more information came to light, we came to find out that she was not diabetic and she was just wasted. I personally am quite offended that she lied to me and I spent a good amount of time checking in on her and helping, and I also find it extremely unprofessional and disgusting that someone would drink to the point of being disoriented and rude while they're working- let alone on someone's wedding day. I am beyond appalled and would highly recommend not hiring As You Wish, because who knows, your wedding planner may be the most intoxicated person at your wedding. read more

I had my wedding last month, and we were assigned to work with Deb Jones after speaking with Allison (owner of this company) and signed a contract. We never were provided with the opportunity to speak with her before being locked into to a contract. Deb went 5 months without speaking to us leading up to our wedding. She only started to contact us after we spoke with Allison and the venue to raise concern about the lack of communication. My husband and I ostensibly did all of the planning ourselves. The day of our wedding, Deb raised her voice to the bridal party and to our family, literally yelling at us that we weren't ready. All the while, when she was 'helping' the groomsmen to get ready, she repeatedly stabbed one of them with their boutonnière and stated "I just need a vodka soda". She proceeded to act strangely, telling one of our vendors she was "seventeen sheets to the wind", and told one of my bridesmaids that she would tell people she is diabetic so they don't know she was 'wasted'. In the contact we signed, one of the job duties explicitly laid out is that Deb would get the processional lined up with family and the bridal party. Well, Deb did not think to get my father for the processional. Something that he will never, ever get to have now because how she decided to behave that day. Further, she damaged and lost our property (Allison later refunded us for the property that Deb damaged). Deb went on to tell multiple vendors and guests that she was diabetic so the paramedics were called. My husband and I waited for two days for Allison or Deb to reach out and discuss what happened but we never heard back. After we contacted Allison, she stated that Deb was not diabetic. Deb and Allison went on to say that she had a panic disorder that does not exist. I know it does not exist because I am a licensed mental health clinician, and what they were saying is a made up disorder. After I pointed that out, they stopped lying about that one piece because, again, they were caught lying. After over a week of contentious emails between my husband and Allison, Allison stated that Deb would no longer be working at the venue we had our wedding at. This immediately followed an email from the owner of the venue saying that if Deb was drinking on the job then she could never work at the venue again. Throughout it all, Deb never once had the decency to reach out and apologize for any of the pain she caused. I am so, so sad that so much of my wedding day is littered with memories of Deb sitting on the floor of the bathroom telling my bridesmaid she was drunk. I need it to be known that this was not okay. Her behavior will forever tarnish memories- not just for me but for my family and friends. I truly hope that no one ever experiences the displeasure that I did with this company. Do yourself a favor and don't work with them. If Allison or this company tries to dispute this rating I will post the email exchange as evidence. read more

So thankful I searched online and came across As You Wish. To be honest, I didn't even know there was such a service. I live in Pittsburgh and needed a service in Denver to help me purchase and deliver some surprise celebratory and housewarming items to my son and his girlfriend who just purchased their first house in Denver. I first wanted to send them a bottle of champagne on the day of their closing, and then wanted to give them an Italian-style housewarming basket on the day they moved in. The service worked perfectly! Allison was so friendly and professional, and I felt assured my specific requests would be taken care of.
