Truly incredible! Mariah and Jolene supported us and advocated for us throughout the whole wedding process. From proactive, detailed checklists and periodic check-ins to developing last-minute contingency rain plans, Mariah thoughtfully helped execute our vision to a T. The wedding day went smoothly and all of our guests have told us we had the best wedding weekend they've ever attended. THANK YOU, Mariah and Jolene for your attention to detail and unwavering commitment to high quality! https://youtu.be/v_XvFH9-NOA read more

I called Jolene at 2pm on the day of my November evening event. It was super cold out and I needed heaters and blankets to make an important meeting comfortable. I deal with a lot of vendors and I knew my same-day request (on a Saturday no less) would probably be met with cranky "not possible in the timeline" responses. Instead, I met Jolene on the other end of the phone. What a warm and positive person! She immediately took on my problems with grace and alacrity. She not only solved the heaters and blanket asks but also added so many details that I would never have thought of. Baskets to hold the blankets. Blankets tied with twine. Additional black napkins in case someone was wearing a dark outfit. Found local wines and beers. Just extremely thoughtful in everything she did. My event was not big or expensive. I'm from out of town so I'm probably not a repeat client (wish I could be!). And I had a very last minute weekend request. And Jolene pulled through 110%. I would trust her to plan just about anything. You'll be in the best hands. read more

I chose Laurel & Rose as our wedding planner the end of 2020, almost a full year and a half before our wedding. Through this time, I worked closely with Mariah Burke (our Lead Planner) to carefully craft my perfect vision of a wedding day. Right off the bat, her attention to detail, organization, and personality shined through above the 8 other planners I had talked with. Each step was custom to us and she made us feel at ease in trusting her with picking our vendors, design decks, handling budget, and other things that would come up. There was not one time where I felt like her second priority, even a year out! Her and Jolene (Lead Planner & Owner) respond promptly, both in and outside of business hours, set valid expectations and really partner together well. They are best friends and look like sisters! Fun fact, Laurel & Rose is named after Jolene's sisters and it truly feels like a family when you work with these two. Mariah had the perfect amount of advice for me when I felt undecisive, but I still truly like the day was my design. The day of the wedding, IT COULDN'T HAVE GONE SMOOTHER. All of our guests said it was the best wedding they've ever been to. I of course had to make last minute changes and there were definitely some fires the week before that Mariah just dealt with. Everything was perfect and so unbelievably custom to Brian and I's relationship. Mariah and Jolene were like angels in my corner - gave me a heads up for what was the come next, with still allowing me to be fully present, trusting them to be in charge. Mariah is incredibly professional, direct and has some spunk to make things all around 'fun.' I was giddy after every vendor call we had together and wish we could do it all over again!!! I highly, highly recommend Laurel & Rose for whoever is looking for a wedding planner. They are worth every penny and stay super competitive with price points. The experience was a 10/10! My husband and I highly recommend you hire Jolene and her team if you are in need of top notch, professional, and personal wedding planning services. We worked with Jolene and Mariah during the pandemic - hands down the most difficult time in wedding planning history. Jolene and Mariah went above and beyond to help us plan our dream wedding as we navigated all types of roadblocks due to the pandemic. Every time we pivoted, we worked together to come up with creative and BEAUTIFUL solutions - what Jolene and her team created far exceeded what we could have ever imagined. Jolene and Mariah were attentive, detail oriented, and responsive throughout the 6 months of planning - countless emails, calls, and pow-wows. Besides planning well, Jolene and her team know how to execute when it matters most - during the actual event! During our wedding weekend, Jolene was there managing all aspects of the wedding - from vendors, to the bridal party, all the while providing personal attention to me and my husband. So many of our family and friends even commented how impressed they were with Jolene and her team. We will forever be grateful to Laurel and Rose for making this such a memorable occasion for all of us. read more

Jolene is a brilliant planner and stylist. She has put together some stunning weddings and she is easy to work with. I'm generally skeptical of wedding reviews because everyone thinks their wedding was THE BEST DAY EVER, and that is how it should be. Therefore, it will be hard for me to find the objective words to depict the planning team at Laurel and Rose. The experience was seamless and fun. Jolene and her team worked together to clarify the vision of the bride and groom, and took it to the next level. Laurel and Rose has style and sophistication, coupled with the experience to find the best vendors in each category. The communications were quick and responsive; there was never any doubt that each item was being handled in a timely and professional manner. I'm convinced that the Laurel and Rose team could plan a wedding on the far side of the moon. They are the most efficient and competent people I have ever encountered. Working with Jolene and her team made wedding coordination fun and easy, with the desired results, it was perfection in planning. read more

Jolene and Mariah are true industry experts. The grace, professionalism, and vendor selection was top notch. My husband and I are both in the industry, so we had really high expectations. They exceeded all of them and more! Our wedding was hands down the best wedding I've ever attended, and usually the bride and groom don't get to truly enjoy their wedding day! Our wedding was so well orchestrated and curated to ensure we enjoyed every moment, all our senses were heighten! Since our wedding was in the midst of the pandemic the precautions taken from their team and the vendors made us and our small group of guests feel safe and comfortable. From the first phone conversation I knew I could completely trust them with every detail. I can't even begin to describe how fabulous the entire process was. They made us feel so special, it felt like we were their only clients! On the day of our wedding we showed up and didn't have to worry about a single thing. The details and flow of the day was truly magical, it was a literal fairytale! At one point Jolene was on her knees in damp grass making sure my shoes were properly on my feet, all while maintaining a smile on her face! This only shines a small light on how truly kind, gracious, and creative Jolene and Mariah are. Stop searching for a wedding planner and pick L&R! HIGHLY RECOMMEND! read more

I had the pleasure of Officiating a wedding Jolene coordinated in the California redwoods. It was one of those days where the weather was unpredictable, and Jolene had to stay on her game keeping everything flowing while making difficult decisions around whether to move the ceremony inside. At the last minute, she made the call to keep the ceremony outside in the sacred redwood grove, and it was the right decision. The rain let up during the ceremony, and by the time they said "I Do" hearts were warmed and the drizzle barely noticeable. Because of the rain, timelines and logistics were continually shifting, and Jolene was the utmost professional while respecting my time and agreements. By the end of my Officiant Duties, I felt like we were old friends who had climbed a mountain together! Jolene is a clear communicator both before and during the big day, and was able to bring the wedding team together as a cohesive whole. I would love to work with Jolene again, and look forward to the day. read more

Laurel & Rose truly made our wedding weekend beyond anything we could have imagined. Jolene and her wonderful team were supportive, honest and just a joy to work with throughout our 10 month engagement and throughout the BIG day. They did everything and more to make sure our weekend ran smoothly and that our guests were very well taken care of. Jolene thought of every last details and supported me and my fiance along the way. Not to mention, she helped me navigate some challenging conversation with family and friends. LOVE LOVE LOVE Laurel & Rose! read more

I worked with Laurel & Rose when I did makeup for a bride in San Miguel De Allende. I was already familiar with the team since they also coordinated another friends wedding in Palm Springs, CA as well. Jolene is the absolute best!! She had everything under control, and her team was beyond amazing. There's a certain level of professionalism you just can't get from all event planners. Jolene & team made sure each transition from every event was well thought out, and spent time planning details as well, which is unreal considering they were destination weddings! When I was applying makeup for the bride, Jolene was kind enough to calmly walk in the suite to ask if the bride needs anything, food, water, rest, etc. She's very aware of the stress on the wedding day, and I hope one day I can work with her again! read more

Working with Jolene is fantastic! I've worked with her on a wedding recently (as the wedding cinematographer) that was spectacular! It was styled down to the tiniest detail and everything at both the rehearsal and wedding flowed seamlessly. In my world of film, it is such a treat when a wedding is filled with beautiful design elements to enhance the backdrop of those special moments on video - and in this area she certainly shines. Her design and attention to detail is superb! Additionally, from a vendor's perspective, it is wonderful to work alongside a leader that is on-point, personable, and equally fun to be around! So, from my own "behind-the-scenes" perspective, Jolene is a world-class coordinator & designer! read more

I had the pleasure of working with Jolene on a wedding this weekend in Muir Woods. Not only did she put together this wedding in a matter of weeks, she also planned it all from out of state! WHAT?! And it was fantastic. All of the details came together perfectly for a gorgeous venue set up and a seamless event. Her direction was clear, concise and supportive and my team really enjoyed working with a wedding planner who is organized and relaxed. I'm only disappointed that she lives in Denver and I live in SF making it harder to collaborate on a regular basis. She's awesome! read more

Jolene from Laurel and Rose helped me plan and hold a rehearsal dinner for my son's wedding. I live 2000 miles away from where the wedding was taking place and needed someone who knew the area and the local vendors. Jolene hit it out of the park. Working with her is a pleasure. She has terrific ideas, is organized and very flexible. From the beginning of the planning to the night of the event, she was on top of every detail and nothing was overlooked. I would highly recommend Laurel and Rose for planning of any special event. read more

When my wife and I (who live in Wisconsin) decided that we wanted to get married in the mountains, we knew we were going to need some help. We found Laurel and Rose by chance (or maybe it was destiny?) and before we knew it we were in Colorado visiting potential locations with our new wedding planner, Jolene. After our initial conversation with her she immediately understood what we were looking for, and on that first trip she brought us to the venue where we ultimately got married. Jolene was very organized and basically held our hands through everything leading up to the wedding, taking a ton of the stress out of the planning process and allowing us to get excited for our big day. She got to know us and what we were looking for, and when it came time to decide on something she always had the perfect option as one of her suggestions. She never made us feel like our ideas weren't good, but at the same time she leveraged her experience to give us thoughtful advice. We were incredibly happy with the way the day came together and with all of the great vendors we got to work with. The day of the wedding she was there early and kept the trains running on schedule. She oversaw every aspect of the venue and event to ensure it was everything that we were looking for. She took care of every little detail, many of which wouldn't have even occurred to us without her. It turned out even better than we imagined. We highly recommend Laurel and Rose to anyone who wants to plan the perfect, unique experience for their big day. read more

How can I possibly begin to explain how absolutely incredible Jolene and the Laurel & Rose team are?! They made my Santa Monica wedding a dream come true. From the rehearsal dinner, wedding day and farewell brunch, their attention to detail, creativity, organization (and FUN!), was just above and beyond anything I could have EVER dreamed of. I knew I was in excellent hands from day one. During all of the months leading up to my wedding, as well as my wedding day, friends would constantly tell me how I was the least stressed bride they had ever seen. I owe that to Jolene and her awesomely talented team. It is so clear so see how much they just love what they do, and they truly care so much about all of their clients. I honestly do not have enough amazing things to say about Laurel and Rose. My wedding was the most magical day for my husband and I, and I wish I could give them 5 million stars on here. I also wish I could have my wedding all over again, EXACTLY as it was! Thank you again and again Laurel & Rose, highly recommend to everyone! read more

To say that Jolene Greenbaum Peterson of Laurel and Rose Events is a rock star would be an understatement! She is professional, poised, and incredibly knowledgeable, all while being a fantastic listener, enthusiastic and downright FUN. She recently helped plan an event for our family that turned out absolutely perfect! Actually, a million things could have gone wrong, which I am sure they did NOT, but I would have never known because Jolene had ever tiny detail covered, all the while seeming invisible at the event. Isn't that what you really want? The bar/bat mitzvah for our son, daughter and 200 guests she helped orchestrate turned out EXACTLY the way we imagined. This is because Jolene heard our vision and then almost like magic, brought it to life. I would recommend her hands down to anyone planning any kind of event. She really is THAT good! read more

We could not be more over the moon about the wedding, rehearsal dinner, and Sunday pool-party/brunch that Jolene (the genius behind Laurel and Rose) planned for us at the Parker Palm Springs just weeks ago. Truly, we are still on cloud nine, and this is a testament to a million factors, including: (1) her brilliant handling of every single sub-contractor and individual who was part of the wedding -- from the floral team to the 'glam squad' to the folks who produced monogrammed fanny packs, she managed every detail, (2) her knowledge of EVERYTHING Palm Springs, (3) her LA-based style wizard, Samantha, who led the charge on everything for us related to bridal attire and bridesmaid/bridesman looks, and was my personal savior, (4) her general creativity and ability to turn a space into a SPACE, and (5) her wonderful personality and general zest for life, which translates into having a partner for the whole experience from day one through post-wedding bliss. We could not recommend Jolene, Samantha, and the rest of the team more highly. read more

I found Laurel and Rose via Instagram. We live in NYC but spend a lot of time in Aspen, Colorado. One of the Aspen Instagram feeds I follow, posted the image of this incredibly beautiful summer wedding on the mountains of Snowmass. I was completely drawn to the aesthetics and grace of the event. Thankfully they tagged their event planner: Laurel and Rose. I saved the information and when the time came for us to start planning for our kids Bar-Mitvah in NYC, we emailed them. This is when we met Jolene Peterson, the founder of Laurel and Rose (note the company is named after her 2 sisters!). We immediately knew this was the only person that would bring our vision to life for an organic, graceful and beautiful event for our twin boys. Jolene flew to NYC twice before our event. I can truly say she is an expert in destination events. Our vision was to bring the Aspen mountains to NYC and Jolene and her team executed flawlessly. I really don't know where to begin because the immaculate attention to detail was so exceptional. She is a genius of bringing not just an event to life but an entire experience. She worked on this event from Colorado and it was as if she was a local, that is how well she understands the event markets around the country and worldwide. She is hands-on as his her entire team and she pays attention to every nuance of an event. No request rattles her and everyone of our requests was executed to perfection. She is exceptional at keeping a strict timeline from when and where to print the invites to fully managing the entire flow of the evening. The outcome was a flawless 7-hour Bar-Mitvah event (the ceremony preceded the party and she organized that too). The NYC demographic is one that isn't easily impressed. However this event blew everyone away. The accolades were endless, nobody had every experienced a Bar-Mitvah so beautiful, classy and fun with such meticulous attention to detail. From the lip glosses in the bathroom to the on point mountain decor to the flawless kids program and adult entertainment. It was a perfect event. Her attention to detail after the event was also astounding as we got back so many keepsakes that she had saved for us during the night that typically would have gotten lost in the shuffle. It is an honor to have worked with Jolene Peterson and her entire Laurel & Rose team. We would love to have a future event just so we can work with her again! Until then we will shamelessly recommend her to friends and family across the country and the globe because you will never find a destination event planner like her. Thank you so much to Jolene and the entire Laurel & Rose team!!! read more

5 stars isn't nearly enough. My sister used Laurel & Rose for her wedding last September so I already had a sneak preview of what this incredible team was capable of, but even with the highest of expectations going in to the process, Jolene and her team absolutely blew us away. Jolene is both personable and professional and kept me completely calm through an otherwise crazy process. Her attention to detail is impeccable, and Laurel & Rose worked tirelessly to put together the wedding of my dreams. Jolene is an absolute genius and she and her team are an absolute pleasure to work with, and highly recommended is an understatement!!! read more
