That is why people like us use your take out, which is obviously doing well since take out is an hour and a half wait. To top it off you let a person come into take out with out a mask. Customer service on the phone was bad and didn't get any better in person. Was standing waiting fora while before someone acknowledged me. Also prices differ everyday and I was charged $2-4 more than what was on their online menu. Paid $18 for a bowl of fried rice just to give you and idea of the prices. The food was good, nothing spectacular. They had my order wrong as well and had to take it back and wait for my order for a long time. The ambiance was nice. The servers were not attentive at all. There are painfully few decent places to eat near this location. When I'm here, I usually end up at Farmer Boys or Grapow. The food is so good, in fact, I had Thai food two days in a row. The service can be spotty during the noon hour but the food and value more than make up for it. I've had a few different dishes but yesterday I tried the yellow curry chicken for the first time and it was fabulous. Served with an egg roll, a dumpling, big scoop of brown rice...it was delicious as always. They have a comfortable patio, too, when the weather is nice. Truly a cool little authentic spot. read more

BAR REVIEW: First off, even though the restaurant closes at 9 p.m, the bar is open until past 9 p.m. (I'm not entirely sure on the closing time but I believe it may be open until 2 a.m.) and offers happy hour deals on appetizers and drinks. Came here around 10 p.m. on a Tuesday and it wasn't too packed and we sat ourselves in an area where we would be visible to the 1 waiter and 1 waitress working. We were greeted by our waiter and placed an order for Thai chili fries, tuna tar-tar, BBQ Pork and fried calamari and also a pilsner glass of Gooseneck beer. All of it was filling and tasted great! I especially loved the calamari because it was just crisp enough and the calamari was soft and not rubbery and it came with a delicious chimichurri sauce. The Thai chili fries were good and tasted like Hamburger helper with sweet Thai sauce over some Ore-Ida looking crinkled fries. The tuna tar tar was another favorite and tasted like really good poke with a smoked flavor. The tuna tar tar to baguette slices ratio is DEFINITELY NOT proportional, in that you'll have more slices of bread than actual tar tar for it. The BBQ Pork tasted fine but I could get a skewer at one of the boba places and it would taste similar. Definitely worth coming here because nothing stays open past 10 p.m. on a week day (other than limited choices in Downtown) in this town that tastes this good! read more

Great place to eat! Hidden gem, unexpected to find such great Thai food in this Riverside shopping center. Always clean, always fast and friendly service. Food is always fresh. Pricing is reasonable. We never wait long for a table or our meals. Owner is a nice guy who we see in there from time to time. He is usually the casually dressed gentlemen behind the bar. They recently opened up a bar next door, which does get crowded and loud. Eating here for dinner is a different experience than during the day. Lunch time is peacful and quiet. Dinner is loud and more of a fast pace environment... but all in all, no complaints from me. Can't wait to go back. read more

After a long day of swimming in the ever so hot sun, my tummy was craving a hearty meal! My aunt suggested we try this place because it's her favorite Asian restaurant around here. We arrived at Grapow around 7pm on a Saturday night. The wait inside was 30 minutes but the outside seating had a much shorter, so dining al fresco it was :) For a party of 6 we waited about 10 minutes to be seated outside. The service wasnt too bad. We were seated and brought waters immediately. Our server came as soon as he possibly could & places or orders right away. We did lose him towards the end of our visit since it got busy, but the service was decent. My family and I had ordered 4 large plates and shared since the portions are large. We ordered chicken pad Thai, beef garlic noodles, pineapple fried rice & the yellow curry. All dishes were delicious and packed with flavor except for the chicken pad Thai... The noodles were extremely rubbery & we were fighting them lol. They were hard to cut and found ourselves nearly choking on them haha. I'm a love of pad thai and I believe Grapow needs a little work on theirs. Everything else was great, my personal favorite was the pineapple fried rice & beef garlic noodles :) The garlic noodles weren't overboard with garlic and actually had a nice cilantro taste more ban garlic. The pineapple friend rice was tasty! However they do put raisins inside - if you don't like raisins this isn't for you. The pricing was decent considering how large the portions were and the quality of the food. A plat for one will run your anywhere from $10-$15 depending on what you select. Tonight we had the waiter Eduardo take our drink order and our food order. That was the last time we saw him. Other wait staff brought our food. No one asked us how the food was, no one asked us if we wanted another drink. People sitting on both sides of us were seated after us, both got their food before we did, they got 'to go' cartons before we did. I finally raised my hand, Eduardo came, when I confronted him with the lousy service, he said "I've been here twice!" LOL Yes, he had. No apology was offered, when he brought the bill he threw the tray with the bill on the table and walked off. I AM DONE TIPPING FOR POOR SERVICE. Eduardo got ZIP! Patrick teach your staff to make a poke bowl so I can order it "when you aren't there" I asked when you come in and I was told whenever you decide. I literally can go back and make it myself by the description on your menu. Don't put things on your menu if we can't order them, I guess I just saved $25. So thank you and why is your staff constantly stuck behind the sushi bar and not serving tables. Our tables was dirty the entire time and we ended up putting plates on the table next to us. We love your food but sadly staff behaviors and overall atmosphere and care of the restaurant makes us never want to return. Being Thai i have an affinity for all things Thai and I'm going middle of the road here because i think this place is OK (but the hubby say's its miserable). The location is good - in a strip mall with lots of parking. The restaurant is always busy so I often ordered carry out (Thai restaurants are hard to find in Riverside). The Pad Gra Pow is OK. Not one of their better dishes. Also had a forgettable noodle dish as well and the Pad Thai was just OK. Where they've got it going on is with their salad (dressing is delicious and you can buy extra to take home) while the Chicken Slammers are outta control! I would go have a Singha (Thai beer) and slammers for a quick bite and that would suit me just fine. The owner and his brother run the place and are friendly - if you engage them in conversation first (or if you're a regular and they recognize you, or if you happen to speak Thai). Can't say I crave this place but i would be down to stop in there if a friend wanted to go. read more
