The food was actually good, and I probably would have ordered more, but I completely lost my…read moreappetite after taking a sip of water and then noticing what appeared to be a dead fly frozen into the ice, along with other visible foreign material. I asked to speak with the manager. Nadia came over. Her first response was to offer me another glass of water, which made no sense because my concern was the condition of the ice itself. She then offered water without ice. When I explained that I didn't want room-temperature water, she offered me a frozen drink, which I also declined. What stood out most was that the manager never apologized. Not once. I was instead handed a card for 25% off a future visit. After drinking from a glass and then discovering what appeared to be a dead insect frozen in the ice, I wasn't looking for an incentive to come back. A simple, sincere apology and some acknowledgment of the seriousness of the situation would have been far more appropriate. My server, Imhotep, was excellent. He was attentive throughout the meal and repeatedly apologized for what happened, even though it was not his fault. His response was actually more professional and concerned than the manager's. The food was good, but finding what appeared to be a dead fly and other foreign material in the ice completely ruined my appetite and the remainder of the experience. I would strongly recommend that other patrons inspect their water and ice carefully before drinking it.

That's they only think saving this place. It was a Friday night and supperrrr dead. We dined in and was served on plastic Tupperware, no water was offered to us, and "karaoke night" was non existent. I'm just so sad for this place cause it has so much potential. The food is good and the place is clean. But with mid type of service (at one point we just walked up to them, lack of cutlery, lack of life, Bobo's just doesn't have any restaurant culture. I will say though, even though it's good, my chicken pourover rice came with no veggies and my boyfriend's calamari came with no lemon, which was also weird to us. Do you need help with marketing Bobo's? There was clearly so much effort in the design, but I don't know what happened to the actual culture of the restaurant. There shouldn't be only two parties on a Friday night. I wanna see you win Bobo's! I'm so sad yesterday was not a winner.
