First time customer here and I ordered some postcards. The color was way off. it was 5 times brighter than what I designed and as a photographer, my monitors are calibrated so printing can be exact. Never had any color issues with big companys until I dealt with this small one. I ordered 5 x 5" postcards. I have a color scheme for my logo and branding. I was excited to order since the cost was great and I even picked it up from their warehouse so I can get them sooner. When I arrived, I got my order, opened it immediately and noticed that it was a bright blue. Thinking it was my mistake I drove home and pulled up the file that I created myself on photoshop. Color was completely off. I called them immediately since I wanted to fix this right away. The honest gentlemen over the phone told me this happens ALL THE TIME so directed and walked me over how to contact quality control through their website. He said for me to make sure I state that I'm a first time customer so they can pay special attention to me. Really? So if I order a 2nd time I won't get the quality service as stated on their website? Kind of sad! So I got a response days later saying: "We apologize for any inconvenience. Could you please provide us with (5-10) digital samples? This will help us assist you with this matter you have brought to our attention (2995426). Be advised that based on our samples and your files, this order is matching. Therefore additional samples from you are required. Please take photos of the product you have received and email them to us. Please take a photo of about 5-10 samples that you received. Please do not sent 5-10 photos but a glance shot of 5-10 samples. Do not send the file that you uploaded when placing the order." Really? I now understand why Yelpers are saying they request the studpidest and the most confused instructions. Take a photo 5-10 sames? Why would you need 5 - 10 images especially if most likely the color on my phone camera won't match what you have. I emailed them back saying it doesn't make sense for me to do that so I sent them the file once again even if they asked me not to. Next email I get they have the nerves to ask me to call them when all my vendors call me to show that they care and really want to resolve the issue. Now I'm stuck with these, I wasted gas to drive down there to check out their warehouse and in the end I get a postcard thats not even our company colors. I OWN AN ADVERTISING AGENCY. WE ORDER A LOT OF PRINTED MATERIALS: FLYERS, BUSINESS CARDS, ETC. NEVER EVER AGAIN. Today is a full two weeks and still no cards. Customer service told me last week that trifecta cards take longer (I've ordered normal cards in the past and they take JUST AS LONG) I did the graphics and emailed the file. TWO WEEKS and nothing. This is unacceptable. Last Wednesday the rep told me they would be shipped tomorrow (Thursday) and they take 4 days. That means I should've had cards yesterday. Still no cards. I've been using GotPrint for years for one reason...I like the end product. Their process and customer service however have always left something to be desired. If everything goes smoothly...according to their process and not that of the customer...then everything is fine. I had 2500 copies of a calendar printed by them this year. I did everything I could on my end to ensure the end product was correct. Used their templates, followed their rules, even paid the (insanely high) $150 hard copy proof to ensure there were no errors on my part that would effect the final product. The process was so slow. The "notifications" I was supposed to receive from them never came. If I hadn't gone into my account a week after approving my hard copy proof, I wouldn't have know my secondary, digital proofs were ready for review. Then it took weeks for them to print them...the process took over a month from placing the order to receiving it. When they arrived...there was a HUGE printing mistake; a blank spot on every calendar that wasn't there in either the printed proof or the digital proofs. After submitting my problem to them...they were slow, dismissive and flat out rude to me. I called several times to speak to my "rep" and each time...I was blown off. "He's not here." "He's at lunch." "He's in a meeting." I was furious. Mostly because the event I had scheduled to release the calendar was only a few days away. By the time I finally heard back from them "with their options" I had no time...and I was forced to use the wrongly printed calendars. I was given a 20% discount, which frankly was insulting. They didn't do the one job they were hired to do...print my project properly. I got a lot of "mistakes sometimes happen" and "we're sorry for any inconvenience this has caused" but it was all so disingenuous and cookie cutter. I will never use them again. There are plenty of other printers out there, and I am happy to give them my business. Unless you are willing to "take it or leave it" spend your money with more worthy and honorable businesses. UPDATE: IN RESPONSE TO UPDATE FROM "N.S. of GotPrint" - The options offered to me by the Quality Control Manager were no good to me since my event was a mere days away. I didn't have the time to wait for the process to repeat itself. - The amount paid in total was $2,828.12, of which $700 was refunded, so that was a 25% discount...not 20% as I underestimated or 30% as you overestimated. - As far as placing orders "well in advance" ... my event was on September 14th. I placed this order online and uploaded the files via FTP on August 7th. 5 weeks is more than a reasonable amount of time for a print job of this to be completed as well as leaving time to fix any unexpected mistakes. I hope you would agree. - I understand the concept of the partial refund and why a fully refunded product would need to be returned. However, I do feel the refund was under offered on your part. I don't feel that you should had been able to profit from a job where the mistake that you made and a very slow turnaround time didn't allow me any other option but to use the incorrect materials. - I was checking my spam folder for the notifications, as that has happened in the past with other online vendors. I recently re-ordered business cards (the second time I've re-ordered the same cards). Instead of getting the navy blue background with white lettering I ordered, I received black and white cards. I went back and checked my proofs to make sure they were navy, they were. The response I received from gotprint was email after email blaming me for the mistake. They refused to correct the order and refused to refund my money. It's sad because I was just about to spend several hundred dollars on banners and other printed items over the next few months and now all of that business will go to one of their competitors. I actually had a decent experience with this business up until they screwed up my order and refused to take responsibility and actually blamed me for it! I received my order of 2,500 business cards and they were all printed slightly crooked. I called them up and the guy I spoke to said they will print a new batch for me. I thought "great!" The next morning I received an email from them offering me 10% off my next order instead.(??) I called them and the rep told me that I uploaded my image into there system crooked, so it was my fault. I explained that this is not one big uploaded image and that the design consists of 6 separate uploaded images. I would have had to intentionally situate each image along the same line and in an equally crooked manner to the exact degree in order for this to have been my fault! I asked, "why would I intentionally do that?". He told me I had to go to there website and send a message to their "quality control" department. I asked, "can't you transfer me so I can speak to them?" He put me on hold so he could speak to them and came back to repeat the same mind numbing claim that I uploaded the "image" crooked. I told him to transfer me so I could speak to these people myself. He said they wouldn't speak to me and that I needed to message them from their website! I said either they get on the phone with me or they loose my business, I would file a complaint with BBB, and leave negative reviews for them online. Sure enough he got them to talk to me, but no matter how many times I explained how irrational and absurd their conclusion was. Again, a conclusion which implied that I would have had to have uploaded 6 separate images along the same line and in an equally crooked manner to the exact degree in order for this to have been my fault! He simply said, "I don't know what you did". And he kept referring to "the image" even though he could have easily verified that there were -in fact- 6 separate images! Then he agreed to refund my order, but I would have to pay to ship the cards back to them. He said the reason was because I could still use them! I'm going to use crooked business cards?! I told him that I was not going to pay a penny for their screwed up crooked business cards and that they need to accept responsibility for their obviously botched print job. He then decided to give me a full refund without having to ship the cards back, but I would not be able to do business with them again! LOL, as if I was going to continue doing so. IN RESPONSE TO GOTPRINT'S FALLACIOUS RESPONSE BELOW: There is something seriously wrong with you people. You are simply being DISHONEST and digging a bigger hole for yourselves here. NOW, you are claiming that just ONE image of the 6 were uploaded crooked, when you guys were insisting that the whole file/one all encompassing image was uploaded crooked?? Than why are ALL of the images crooked in perfect sync with each-other, if just ONE was uploaded crooked?? You guys keep bringing up the shift during the cutting process, but I never complained about that. My issue was only regarding your crooked print job, which you guys still refuse to take responsibility for. I sent a customer request through their website and did not receive a response. After a Twitter request a week later, their customer service team flew into action like rockstars. They even offered to refund the order if the product was too late to use. They're not bad, just make sure to call or tweet them instead of using their website for customer service requests. read more

Update 1/20/14: GotPrint's customer service offered me a full credit toward my next order, which I believe is a nice show of support. I'm still not sure what I would or could do differently to guarantee better results. But, I'm willing to try again and see what happens. --------------------------------------------------------------------- My experience is an exact replica of Paul R.'s review. I had high hopes for GotPrint.com - they seemed to have a nice website with many affordable options to suit all tastes and budgets. I used their template in Adobe Illustrator to their exact recommendations. My on-screen proof looked exactly how I wanted my print-out to look. A week later I was excited to open my first business cards. One side looked decent. The second side looked completely washed out (the side with my company's logo). It was several tints lighter than anything that would be acceptable. (By the way, I printed the same file on two color laserjet printers and the color was perfect. I used the same file to get signs made with another company and those signs looked great. So my file was not the issue). I opened a support ticket through the website. I didn't expect a complete refund, but I thought they would at least offer me several options of how to correct the problem. Just like others have said, they asked me to send a photo of 5-10 of the images. This seemed completely strange, but I complied. A few days ago I received an order for postcards I'm using for a bridal show coming up. Unfortunately the colors were waaaay off this time, super blue toned, and I'd be embarrassed to hand these out to potential clients. Great prices, garbage everything else. Made an order for 100 post cards with a rush order for our business. There was an issue with the credit card number. Went online and fixed it, and assumed it was all good. Got another email 4 DAYS LATER saying the issue wasn't fixed. They could have mailed a paper letter quicker. By this time we had expected our relatively simple order to be ready. We called and they said "the system doesn't update, you have to call it in." Where does it say that on your website? Since you take all your orders online, maybe it's time to get a better system? One that sends timely emails and updates without using the phone? When we asked if our measly 100 post cards could be done by the next day, we were of course told no. I should have read the reviews before using these people. Absolute worst customer service from quality control EVER. First, let me say I've been a loyal customer for years. I'm a designer and a photographer and have used Got Print for everything. I placed an order of 5 boxes, 250 postcards each. That's nearly $300 worth of product. When I received my boxes, each box was missing 20 cards. I paid for 1 box of 250 cards and received 230. Not to mention, 5 of them were printed too dark, leaving me with 25 missing cards from each box. That might not sound like a big deal, but when you've created a mail campaign to 250 people, every card is necessary. A week of back and forth messages and finally getting George from QC on the phone has culminated in this: He tells me he can't print 25 cards on the press, because there's a 100 card minimum. So I will get refunded those for those 125 missing cards, and I will need to PURCHASE 5 boxes of postcards, 100 each, to replace the missing cards. Say what? You're telling me I have to now spend an additional $200 FREAKING DOLLARS to replace the cards YOU GUYS DIDN'T INCLUDE?? George says it's industry standard to be missing or go over 10% on your order. I asked where on the website it says that. He says it's not on there but to google it. So what he's saying is that I'm missing 125 postcards, but because it's "industry standard" to go under or over 10%, I should accept that. He also said 125 missing cards is well under industry standard, so I should be happy with it. When I argued that if I'm paying for 250 cards, my box should have 250 cards, his response was that maybe I lost some on the way home. Are you kidding me right now? Why would I create this incredible hassle for myself over 125 cards IF I WASN'T ACTUALLY MISSING THEM? Why should I have to spend $200 dollars over a mistake you guys made? Well I received my refund on those 125 missing cards. But I sure as hell am not going to place another $200 order to fix your mistake. But what I will tell you is that I will never be using you guys ever again, and I hope someone who actually cares about quality and customer service at Got Print reads this and gives a crap. Two orders from this company, both business cards. First order, came out perfectly. No problems whatsoever. Second order, hah. 1000 business cards, all ruined. Not only did they enlarge my image, but still cut it at 2" x 3.5" (therefore cutting edges of my image off), the cards were not even consistently cut. Packaging was awful; many of the cards arrived bent, because they were not even tucked properly into the box. Contacted quality control several times. Claimed it was my fault because there was no bleed (my image ended at the trim lines) so that shifting would occur within 1/16". I kept replying that the trimming happened BEYOND the trim lines and BEYOND the safe lines, so there was more than 1/16" shifting ON ALL SIDES. So how they respond? Copy-pasted replies. read more

Don't bother with these folks. Their operation is so big they've decided to not care about their customers' needs. GotPrint does batch printing -- meaning your design is thrown in alongside a bunch of other jobs with the same paper stock to create bulk printing discounts. Yeah, it saves a couple bucks, but not enough to make it worthwhile. The product comes out looking decent -- not spectacular, just decent. But if you need a rush job, good luck. Don't bother with the rush option they offer on their website. It only shaves off a couple days from their already long production time. It's not that GotPrint is bad, per se. Just understand that if your attempting to shave a few dollars from your printing budget by going with these guys, you're going to get what you pay for. read more

I just received postcards from GOT PRINT. I used a post office stamp machine to get the postage on them. The red ink that the machine uses smeared all over the back of the card. Not only was it unreadable, but it looked terrible. I spoke to customer service and filed a complaint. I just got the following email back from the idiots at "quality control" Now I have to go to the Better Business Bureau. I couldn't give zero stars so one will do. STAY AWAY from these guys like from the plague. I ordered cards 2 weeks in advance online in order for them to be ready for my event. They called a week later to say that they can not print it, it needs bordering of edges, I agreed to pay $70 in order for them to do it. The guy reassured me that the cards will be ready. Coming to pick them up - no cards. They cost me a great deal of aggravation and money loss. You are better off going to your local printer. This company does not care. read more

I've been a loyal GotPrint customer for 8 years (printing mostly postcards), but recently their quality has been declining. With my last job done, enough is finally enough. This is really sad, because GotPrint used to be an excellent company. They used to have quick turnaround, excellent print quality, and first rate customer service. Now the print time has slowed, the physical stock used and print quality are diminishing, and the customer service is one-size-fits-none. To talk a little bit about this last order when enough-was-enough: the material for the postcard was very thin, so that it felt (and bent) more like paper than a proper postcard. The print quality was also dull and pixelated (despite starting from a high rez 300DPI master). The product looks embarrassingly amateurish, and cannot be used to represent the product advertised. I am grateful for the 8 years when they were great, but I have to search out another vendor now. read more

I have sent about 8 unique print jobs their way in the last month, and every job exceeded my expectations. My graphic designer recommended GotPrint to me and I'm very glad he did. *ONLY NEGATIVE* 1 Star deduction for this... They don't do Variable Data Printing. So if you have 5,000 target recipients and you need their unique names and addresses printed on the materials you have to take those materials from GotPrint to another facility so that they can do that for you. I have had good luck with Print-Runner. *They will likely be set-up for VDP within the next year or so I am told. GotPrint does quality work and their pricing is incredible. It's amazing to me that they can turn a profit. They must be stealing the ink and the paper they use or something. Maybe they are buying the ink and paper at a discount from all of the small printers they are putting out of business. Whatever it is, I am glad they are my new printer. Some jobs I have sent their way recently: New biz cards for my staff. They came out really nice and were basically free. $22 per 1,000 count 1,000 count per each staff member. Standard 2x3.5 size 16 pt. paper (thick / sturdy) Full Color Both Sides Gloss Coated w/UV Coating New company brochures for mailing. $160 per 1,000 brochures 8x11 standard Tri-Fold design Paper: 100lb Gloss COVER w/Aqueous Coating (really sturdy) Really bright color. Lots of images. Looks awesome. At this price, we are gonna be printing a lot of these. We have also ordered envelopes, letterhead, etc. The price points on every job so far are flat out unbeatable. The quality is always really solid. It's interesting to me that I am seeing so many 5 star reviews and so many 1 star reviews for them. I am slightly removed from the process because my graphic designer is the one dealing with them directly, but he swears by them and has never reported an issue. All i know is that they are super inexpensive, on time, and the new materials look great. *As I often do, I did a quick review of the 1 star reviews...mostly because I would love to know what these 1 star reviewers would consider a 5 Star Printing Company. Maybe a free government-funded printer that gives you a complimentary massage when you pick up your order?! I didn't see any of them suggesting a superior alternative. They must have taken their biz elsewhere...but where? If their is a significantly superior alternative to Got Print I would like to know what it is. I physically went to their facility once to pick up materials (mostly because I was curious about their operation and wanted to get a look for myself). The staff at the facility was quite pleasant and even took the time to have a chat with me about how they do what they do. *For an L.A. based biz you can save a lot of $ on shipping costs (from them to you) if you have someone that can physically go to their facility to pick up the materials. ------------------ Prior to using GotPrint, I had used 3 or 4 local print shops in Santa Monica, Westwood, and West LA and their pricing was always quite high. *I didn't really know any better back then, and actually felt pretty dumb when I realized that places like GotPrint existed. Like most Americans, I suppose that I am a pseudo-champion of the small business man / I am when it's convenient for me. Some of the guys I know that own the local print shops are really nice guys, but can I really justify paying them $200 for a job that a company like GotPrint can do for $20? Not when I'm running a business that I want to make profitable. Before I made my way to GotPrint for the first time, I also used Vista Print and PSPrint (based in NorCal) for several jobs. I'm hesitant to give a 5 star review in general, especially to a printing company, but after 4 years of business, I really cannot find a fault with GotPrint. I've been ordering business cards from them for years, and occasionally flyers, and every time my orders have been quick and perfect. This week, I needed business cards ASAP (by Saturday) in a special size, but I didn't specify a rushed order, nor did they have that option for special shapes. When I called and was informed it would take 8-10 business days, I figured I was screwed. They were quite nice and offered me all the solutions they had, but I just submitted to the fact that I'd have to wait since I didn't get my order to them within the time frame. Zoom to yesterday (that's only 4 business days!) my perfect business cards in their special shape are delivered! They went above and beyond, when they didn't have to. I was simply a flustered client that called one person there to ask what my options are, and he apparently quietly made it so I'd get them in less than half the expected time. Thank you! read more

I wish the customer service was as good as the product. I swear if I didn't receive a great product at a great cost there is no way I would use them. I would rate the actual product delivered at 4 or 5 stars. I would rate customer services at 0.5 star. We order products from them about 2-3 times a month. EVERY time I've called, emailed, or showed up in the store to pick up an order I have been treated like I'm a bothersome, and people are rude on the phone. In this day in age when the economy is rough you can't afford to have bad customer service because sure enough your competitors will steal your business and treat the customer like a queen. So, thinking this would continue to be the case, I placed another order with them and I have had it bounce back to me 7 times now. I have resent them the files in various types(nearly all of the formats they listed as applicable) to no avail. When I call the customer service department sounds like it is peopled by the most miserable high-school drop outs. I'd be pretty miserable too if my job was telling people all day that we screwwed up yet again, and there is nothing you can do about it. This business is rubbish. Trying to place an order with them. Came on their website yesterday, it quoted one price. I register with them today, and now it's giving me a higher price. I chat online with Steve B., customer service rep and he keeps on repeating lines like "well if that was the prices yesterday then the prices went up" and "unfortunately prices do change from time to time. Like I state I'm not sure what the price was yesterday so I wont be able to tell you why the prices went up if they did or not." So when I threatened to take my business elsewhere, he didn't care. After reading the other Yelp reviews below about mistakes made on orders, long turnaround times, and poor customer service, I'm sure glad I didn't order from them this time, nor will I in the future. It just really puts a bad taste in my mouth when business such as GotPrint.com have slimy business practices like changing prices a day later, and possibly after you register with their website (i.e. they quote you one price, then when you register, they give you a higher price). What is with all the haters??? I love this place and you have to believe me cause I'm elite status. I've ordered business cards online from other companies and they usually come hit or miss...usually miss but I ordered brochures from GotPrints.com. First of all, I'm needy so I had to chat with them online asking the most dumb questions. After I ordered, I received the confirmation email, which is pretty much check your & gotprints' work. I denied the first one and redid it then called them. They promptly sent me a new upload page ...week later is judgment day..I receive the fliers a week later..i slowly open it cause I'm nervous...but 5 STARS ALL THE WAY! 1/20/11 I don't like to do that review update but I have to tell you that I needed to order fliers for my sister's birthday and there was a little snag with the price match guarantee. I've ordered a few things from here and I get them printed as agreed. Good quality and in a timely manner. I've had to rush sometimes and they do get the items out as soon as they say they will. I've been coming here for years. Prices are awesome, turn-around time is "Good" but not great. Then again, I always want things quick so I think it's just me. Colors are exact matches. Most people aren't aware or understand the whole concept of print-ready files in CMYK (not RBG.) Paper you choose (matte vs gloss) does affect the end result of even print ready files (I learned the hard way.) Over all, I never had a real issue. The prices are the number reason besides proximity that keeps my business. Some of the people might have valid complaints but others are just plain crazy. You guys rock. If you are reading this, send your jobs here... it's so much cheaper than anyone else. read more

I really can't figure out all of the negative reviews. I've used GotPrint on many occasions and have been very impressed. Personally, I have ordered hundreds of business cards in full color, with texture and UV coating. They are always done really well and without error. The turnaround is quick and typically ready for pickup (I live in Burbank) within a few days -- depending on quantity of course. In addition, the fire department that I work for uses GotPrint exclusively for our public relations needs, ordering thousands of full color bookmarks, post cards and posters. Again, they are always done very quickly and the quality is always flawless. The service is great too. Ordering 5,000 bookmarks, posters and post cards can be cumbersome when it comes to picking it all up. The staff is always helpful, providing an employee and fork lift to help load the pallet of products into our utility truck. When it comes to printing needs, GotPrint can't be beat. They have made me a customer for life. read more

I've used these guys for years. Customer service representatives on the phone are complete idiots and waste of time. Do not even BOTHER calling. I just wasted 15 minutes of my time and still am answer-less. (Was wondering if they would bump my order up on priority since none of my promotional codes worked and the agent suggested searching the web.) Product quality, you can not beat for the price though. As the Marketing Director at a large company, I expected the same desire that my employees show for customer satisfaction and an urgency to help the customer. Instead...I placed an order on November 10 for 1000 catalogs and still haven't received them. The biggest complaint that I have is that if you want to call and speak to a real person they don't know any more than you do. I found myself being read exactly what was on the online "My Account" portal. At one point I asked if I could speak to someone that had actually handled the physical proof because I had a question about the color. Instead of allowing me to speak to someone they told me I would have to wait for the proof, write my request on the proof and send it back which cost me alot more time than a quick phone call. I now have an inbox with over 17 emails from gotprint with automated messages like " your order needs attention". This company needs to give the customer all of the preliminary details when speaking to them on the phone so that there is no need for multiple emails and wasted time. Now at the end of the process "I hope" I have sent 1 review and 2 emails with my complaints and haven't heard a word. I don't yet have my order so I asked if they could expedite the order due to the long processing time...yet I haven't heard a thing. I called and they told me they couldn't promise it would go out before the 19th. November 10 to December 19, that is insanity for a turn around time on 1000 catalogs to test. What would happen with a normal order of around 10,000. I will not be using GotPrint again. They have more than shown me that they don't care. read more

So far I've placed over 40 orders with Gotprint, and I'll give them 4 stars - which is pretty darn good. Knocked off one star because their cust service could be a bit more helpful. I see quite a few negative reviews, and not sure why, all my jobs have turned out fine. I think the key is to understand what type of print shop you're dealing with. This is a low cost printer that does not hold your hand or accommodate special needs. Their catalog is fairly complete and there is no deviation from the catalog. You need to know what you want, and if it doesn't fit in their templates then don't use them. And by "fit in their templates" that doesn't just mean the artwork is within cut lines etc., it means that you need to be aware of the turnaround times, art specs, sizes, order times and procedures, etc. Gotprint isn't for everyone or for every project, but as long as you're comfortable with what they provide and your ability to work within their parameters, then they do offer some smoking deals. Just remember that you're not working with "Pete the printer" who will walk you through a project, you're working with a machine. BTW I usually pick up my orders n person, and although they get busy they've always been prompt and courteous. read more

The print job was fine, but they have Really Really bad customer service. I put in a rush job, but they didn't make their promised deadline, but they refunded me the shipping fees. They got my print order wrong, where according to their printing department, they printed two banners, which I needed, but when I picked it up, the woman who gave it to me said, I guess they are both in there. Alas, I went home to discover that there was only one banner in the box. I called customer service and spent time resolving my issue with a nice man, who said it would get taken care of, and they would send me the missing one. Then I called again to follow up, and it's as if nothing happened. The second service rep said there is no second banner at the warehouse and that they would print them and I would have to pay for the shipping. But I said, you guys did it wrong and I can't spend any more time following up. It seemed like a chore for her to take down my number and only informed me that the department that would have answers for me is out to lunch or in a meeting. I don't recommend GotPrint to anyone, unless you like being on the phone over and over again to resolve something that they got wrong. The saga continues... read more

Like Jim before me, I also sent a request through their website and did not receive a response? I've been using GotPrint for years, but only place a few orders a year so sometimes I forget my password... the customer service rep I spoke with this morning really didn't seem like he knew what to do to help me since I didn't receive their forgot password emails so he just resorted to "Just create a new account". Thankfully, I remembered it right after I got off the phone with him. The only helpful person that I spoke with this morning was Brian, and he was great! The print quality at GotPrint is top notch. I'm about 2 hours south of them so I can usually place an order and have it proofed, printed, and shipped within 7 - 12 days. Their website even gives you the ability to see what current status your order is in. The only two things I would point out is that I wish they had more offers or coupons for their services... in the 3 - 4 years that I've used them, I've only received one email with a coupon for 10% off. Second, is that I hate paying their LA sales tax for orders... but as of 9/2013, it is 9%. Frick. Just placed an order for 500 envelopes... with Brian's help, I'm hoping they'll come out great as usual. read more

I should not need a yelp review to get me the refund that I deserve for 5000 useless business cards (see photo). But as a yelper, I know it's my duty to warn you about poor practices. I tried writing a problem message to the quality control and the second time around I got a response in ALL CAPS to reiterate that I should look at the website for instructions. Well, I followed the instructions, used the template, was within the safe lines, and the 1/16 inch made a big difference in the outcome. I also paid for the online proof, which is also another useless service as others have mentioned. It looks amateur and I cannot use them for my profession. I was even trying to be green with recycled paper stock, but now it is waste! I was unsatisfied and all they could offer was a discount code if I wanted to spend more money and time. Quality control means making sure the products are quality and at least centered before they are shipped to first time customers (and returning ones). I think it's also unfortunate that only yelpers get the real customer service. Someone should personally be calling everyone submitting a problem message! N.S., please save some time by not responding to my review and make sure that quality control is doing their job. This company is hit or miss and that's evident by the varying reviews. I wish I could give them negative stars. I had circle cards printed by them a few times with no problems. This last time, there was a black line around half of the circle; as if their machine cut them crooked. I called and was told someone would be in touch with me. Nothing. Now I am forced to buy more cards that will be printed ELSEWHERE and file a claim with my bank to get my money back BUYER BEWARE!!! They will screw you and give you crap work. read more

The good: The prices are very good and the quality is terrific. They are also the only printer that does rounded corners at a reasonable price. The bad: Their user experience is terrible. I've tried doing a simple re-order and the problem is their editing tools don't work after an order has been made. So, what happens is that they cancel the order and you have to re-do the order. I've been trying to do a simple re-order and I've had to cancel the order and re-order it three times. It's maddening. Customer service is nice enough but they don't seem to understand their client's pain. I felt like I was hitting my head against the wall. read more

At first their business cards appear to be a great price and they suck you in that way but once you go through all the trouble of placing a large order you find out there is NO COMBINED SHIPPING DISCOUNT for multiple items and by the time you have placed an order of 20 small boxes of cards the shipping is inflated to nearly $100 for standard ground. If you are ordering one box they do just fine but if you are ordering multiple boxes beware of high shipping charges. Also, their website is not user friendly when it comes to placing orders for multiple items. You need to go through all of the tedious steps for each and every item. UPDATE: My reply to the comment below from GotPrint is that UPS does not charge anywhere hear $94 to ship a 40 pound box of business cards. The inflated shipping cost has nothing to do with UPS rates and everything to do with more profit. read more
