Horrible company. They printed 1,000 trifecta business cards poorly. I asked for them to be reprinted, instead they provided me a store credit. The original price was $110, now it cost $180 to print the same amount so I would have to pay a $70 price difference to have the same amount printed. They blame it on "cost increase" but we use other printers and none have ripped customers off by price gorging like gotprint is doing. use another company, this company sucks. read more

Prices are cheap...But shipping cost me more than my buisness cards...which just never came. I really needed them and had them made especially for a big event. So far it's taken them a while to get back to me... Disappointed in the quality. I had used another popular printing company in the past, but their prices had gone up a bit and GotPrint had some good reviews so I thought I'd give them a try. I figured there couldn't be that much of a difference in quality since I just order basic business cards. Turns out there's a huge difference. The day I received my business cards from GotPrint I immediately placed an order for the same cards through my previous printing company. I won't even be handing out the ones I recieved from GotPrint. They're so thin and flimsy they don't even feel like a business card! Plus the cut isn't exact so there's white at the bottom corner of what is supposed to be a black card. The GotPrint ones were only $6 cheaper and are terrible when held side by side with the other company's card. I received 1,000 business cards that were just thrown into an oversized box with no packaging. By the time I received them they looked as though they'd been through the tumble cycle in a dryer. They wanted photos of the box, cards and packaging which I sent. They came back blaming UPS saying they changed the box, dumped my cards in to it, and re-taped the label to the new box and then asked me to sendthe same exact photos to them again! Not only did the photos show that there was no tape on the label, but also that there wasn't even a rip on it from removing it from the original box which is physically impossible with a self adhesive label. There was also a sample card and a got print inventory sticker on the side of the box and again,no tape, no damage. It took me over two hours to reorganize these cards and they won't even take responsibility for it or reimburse me for having to fix their mess! I went into gotprint to pick up my purchase and I was thoroughly disappointed in the service I received. I had ordered 5 sets of business cards and when I received them, the font was unreadable. I had made them on their website and followed all of the rules that were set. They were all readable on the site so there was nothing I could have done differently. I even chatted with them online and adjusted a few things at their mention to make sure everything would print right. The gentleman with the beard and glasses that was helping me out was very nice but there was another employee that very rudely interrupted our conversation and started yelling at me. He was a tall bald man for your reference. I wasn't even talking to him but he made my issue his business and started insulting me. He said for the price I paid, that I get what I get and no one checks it. If there was such an obvious error, like the font being so tiny that it isn't readable, you would think after printing the first set, they would have stopped and contacted me. What did they do, close their eyes before printing the whole set? And that isn't even why I'm so upset. Errors like this happen, but the way that employee handled the situation is unforgivable. Bullying me and verbally accosting me is not ok! I am shocked and appalled at the unprofessionalism I received at gotprint. After spending two hours uploading designs (solely because of the prices advertised) I go to checkout and my total jumps from $180 to almost $290. They claim this is shipping charges but there is no way to ship PAPER is over $100. An absolute scam of a website. They sucker you in, waste your time, and then scam you! GotPrint mailed my business card order in a crappy none protective box. When I got the package it appeared that the box was damaged and the cards fell out and someone threw them back in The same damaged box, and continued mailing it. The cards arrived bent, scratched and some were separating at the corners. When I called customer service she advised me that I needed to go online and start my own claim. I did that, uploaded the pictures they requested and they said UPS damaged the box so they have to do a UPS claim and wait for them to investigate... I called customer service and the lady said the call center doesn't handle any customer service issues in this nature and said all they could do was send a ticket to the claims department, but the claims department doesn't have a phone number to speak with customers in regards to their issues. GotPrint produced 2 business card magnets for me. The first was formatted vertically and while very pleased with the printing, the noticeably off center cutting was a big disappointment. Three months later I tried again with the same bc adjusted to a horizontal format. The change did produce a somewhat better cutting result though I feel GP doesn't try hard enough to hit the trim line on all four sides. More disturbing was the print quality on the second magnet. For both orders GP templates were used and GP's online proofs looked perfect yet the printing on the second bc magnet was about 30% lighter than the first. The color of everything was off. I complied with GP's ask for a photo which included a bc magnet from the first order for comparison. GP chose to ignore the marked difference in print quality, instead suggesting my submitted file was the problem. I know GP can do better and offer as evidence their Sample Kit. Customer service is useless. I'm a graphic designer and placed an order for business cards, submitted an illustrator file with layers for each element. Received an email saying that they needed it to be set up differently and followed their multiple steps instructions for the very specific requirements. Resubmitted and website wouldn't accept the new file so I emailed them to let them know the issue and attached the updated files. The reply was that they won't accept files by email and to upload the file...despite my email telling them the website wasn't correctly uploading the file. Zero customer service. Extremely unhelpful. Having worked in promotional printing for many years, there is no reason the company couldn't take my already print-ready file and update their own insane specifications so they could complete the order. I was ordering a test set of 200 but has planned on ordering 5000 cards from them and will be taking this and all future business elsewhere. read more

Horrible company. No one there for you to talk too. Order online then they keep asking for a new file that use their template. Hire people to do file to fit in their template TWICE. They both said file for their template but once submit file company send a template message that need re-upload file that for their template. No instruction or explanation or able to reach anyone. It's the worst of the worst company. It almost like they didn't want a job. Bad managing. Seem like their art dept need to really work on communication skill! When people give you business, you should try to at least keep customer to company NOT try to chase anyone away. I end up pay for people to adjust size my file from 2 different place and they both said my file match GotPrint template but yet they still send me a template message to upload new file to fit their template without no other explanation. I had to cancel my order because I had to reupload the image twice (even though I had an email saying the image was approved?) because there was "so much extra space around the image." Which didn't make sense to me because the file was the exact size of the foam board and I previewed it, double checked it, triple checked it, it was absolutely perfect within the margins but they kept telling me it was way too small with so much empty space? I needed it by a certain date for my friend's baby shower and at this point they "couldn't guarantee it would be there on time." Due to having to wait for approval multiple times. I even paid for expedited shipping after the first issue (an extra $20) so when I called the third time to figure out what was wrong they said the same issue and that I needed to pay an additional $20 for expedited processing and printing to get it on time. I told them just to refund me at this point and I got it printed through staples with the exact same image and guess what? No issues! Don't waste your money with these people they're just looking to upcharge you as much as possible and make you feel like an idiot when there's clearly something wrong on their end. read more

Wish there was a NEGATIVE STAR Rating... I wish I used Yelp before to see what other customers were saying, as now I know that I'm not alone! I am extremely unhappy with their customer service as their quality control dept was extremely rude, unsympathetic, and ignorant. The manager stated "other people have submitted files just fine, I don't know why you did it wrong" and "it was your fault that you submitted the files that way, you should have read directions and clicked on the green icon for instructions, I know I would If I was you" or "you just did it wrong, it's your fault". No matter if the customer was at fault or the company was at fault and they didn't want to admit it, you DO NOT say this to a customer! He clearly needed training in customer service! And he was supposedly the "manager" for quality control. I had very valid points in my defense and he shot them all down stating that I was at fault and he was right without acknowledging any of my points or the company's weaknesses. Their website did not have clear instructions and I was right on many of my points. This is not the proper way to discuss a problem with a customer, I worked in customer service before and this was highly unacceptable. The rep on the phone was very rude to me. I have had used their print shop for several accounts for 5 years, since 2006, as I work with high retail clients such as Target, Walmart, Walgreens, Kmart, and Disney, and small individual clients on a freelance basis as well, such as this instance, and will need to find another print shop now that I am extremely disappointed in their company and the way their employee handled customer service. read more

I placed my order last Tuesday April 21,2015 and today is April 27,2015. I have NOT received any email about the status of my order. The representative told me that they normally send an email when the order would be ready. Guess what? I checked my inbox and the only email I have is the one confirming my order got approved. THAT IS IT. No apologies or ANYTHING. Rude... I called twice and they told me that it takes 8 DAYS to print matte business cards. I first off want to say I've been to MANY places that gets the job done for the SAME price in less than 3 days. Your company lacks organization. If I had known that it take 8 DAYS to print I would have NEVER placed my order with your company. I would understand if your company is based overseas but you guys are in CALIFORNIA. They wanted to charge $9 to ship my business cards when I live around the area so I opted to pick it up. After two phone calls this morning they finally gave me a time to pick it up. Which is 4PM. RIDICULOUS. I live in Diamond Bar. After I get off work the place will be closed! I WILL NEVER EVER ORDER ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY. Yelpers. Save yourself the time and stress. Know before you go. That's the lesson here. That's the rule. Read everything you can about the turnaround times, the formatting, the shipping and all the other important information and you'll have a splendid experience. A revelatory one. A blissful one that makes you feel like you've just gotten away with something. Lucky for you, all the information is spelled out on the website. I've ordered on a couple of occasions and tried a few different products and I couldn't be happier. 1) Turnaround times Figure out what they are. They may be different for different products, and within certain products you may select things like different UV coatings or rounded corners or whatever that will affect the turnaround time. Don't assume that just because your postcards took 5 days last time that they'll take 5 days this time. Or that your banners will take 5 days. If they say 4-8 days (for example) they mean it may take all 8 days. Luckily, it's all spelled out on the site and they seem really dedicated to staying true to what they publish. Read it. Abide by it. Love it. 2) Formatting Know the file format, and know the artwork format. You may have to talk to a pal to get help getting it right if you're not super familiar with page layout stuff, but they try to make it as easy as possible. I just download their templates and everything was super smooth. But it's not the kind of operation where you can just save a jpg off the internet and forward it to them and say, "Ya, I want this to be a flyer with a phone number and stuff." 3) Price That's why we're all here, isn't it. Honestly, they rock. Like, rock my socks. I just ordered 8.7 million postcards for $12. Okay, that's not true at all. But it felt like it. If you're the kind of person that just wants to hand over an idea to someone to have them figure it out and print what you want, you're really going to be better served by a local print shop. Chances are the local guys will be faster about it too. That's what they're there for, to be your "guy" and not your "printer." For projects I need to monitor closely I still go to the local guy. I pay more, but that's my trade. If you're the kind of person who is willing to spend a few minutes in the fine print and do a little bit of work up front, you're going to get some seriously slick printing work done for seriously sick prices. I've got a few shiny new banners and some sweet promo materials for a party that are proof of that! read more

I ordered 250 business cards over Memorial Day weekend and paid extra for rush service. They have a web interface to upload your graphics and get a full "proof" of what your card will look like. Everything upload and looked correct to me, and I checked all the boxes to sign off on the look. The rush service described the cards as being shipped out 2 days after order acceptance, so my order essentially would be accepted on Tuesday and ship out Thursday. I selected overnight shipping so I could get the cards on Friday in time for the weekend I needed the cards for. On Monday I got this email: Please note that the artwork is not centered and there is uneven white space around the image. Please advise if you wish to proceed as is OR if you need to cancel this order so you may place a new one with the correct bleed. If you would like to make the changes make the dimension size of the background image 3.6 x 2.1 inches with a 350 dpi. This order is on HOLD. I responded ASAP with an attachment of the original image that I had uploaded and told them it looked fine in the web interface. On Tuesday, I got this email: Thank you for your interest in our services. The current order is canceled, please make sure to submit a new order with the new files. If you have any question, please email us at info@gotprint.com with your order number. I responded ASAP asking why my order was canceled and how I can fix it. I tried the web interface and emailing an attachment, so I didn't know what else to try. I was told "Files can not be uploaded for orders designed on the web site. The order has been canceled so that you can re-submit it with the corrected options." My subsequent emails to the company asking for someone to call me to figure out the issue have been ignored. read more

This is a high volume, low cost printing company. Most jobs I've done have been OK. On an order of 2500 business cards, it takes a while to go through the cards. We discovered on one order many of the cards were cut off center and are unusable. I brought this to their attention and was told there would be no adjustment after 7 days. In business it makes sense that claims be made within a reasonable amount of time. In this case we just didn't get to where these bad cards were in a batch of 2500. When most of them look good...it's reasonable to expect the quality to be somewhat consistent. Every company has a choice how they want to do business. Offering a credit on a future order as I suggested is reasonable. With their volume, occasionally things will go wrong. A small good faith adjustment on their defective product keeps me as a customer. It would have been nice to expect more from Got Print, even though this is a low cost online print company. It's always good business to stand behind the quality of your product...even if the defect is discovered after 7 days from delivery. read more

Horrible customer service I placed an order for stickers as part of an event. The first order never arrived. They finally reprinted and sent them (not rushed as I requested as I was in a time crunch), and when they arrived they were useless. They completely cut off all around the edges of the image and it looked terrible, even though the PDF proof showed the full image. They would not reprint and offered a $10 coupon to place a different order. No way! So I have wasted both time and money and have to throw away what I got from gotprint. Even if I have to pay a little more, I will never trust gotprint again with my printing needs. read more

Color was off on card, a printing error. I complained, and got a confusing response. Called back and was able to arrange a reprint. Eight days later the reprint arrived with colors corrected. Total time from ordering to viable product: nineteen days. Customer service was nice and helpful, and the final product looks good, but the fact is... the cards are almost two weeks late now, and it's kind of silly to do a 'save the date' mailing less than 4 weeks out from the event. I have to do more printing soon, but as it has a time value, will look elsewhere. read more

First, I'll say I'm a Graphic Designer and got print is always my go to printing company for whenever I need to get everything printed from my personal business cards to promo materials for the different clients I design for. My clients are always so happy with the paper and printing quality as well as the prices!! No other company I've worked with has both great quality and great prices. People are always impressed with the quality of my personal business cards when I give them out also.. I always use the matte 16pt option, it's my favorite! Decided to write this review now because I'm getting married this year and used them to print my save the dates AND all of the inserts for my wedding invites. I designed everything but made a mistake when choosing paper weight for my invites and literally wanted to cry because I knew I would have to spend more money on printing when I was already on a tight budget. I contacted them, explained what happened and customer service was amazing!! I feel so better about re-printing everything and know the quality will be just as amazing as my save the dates were! This was my first order with GotPrint and I am beyond unsatisfied. I ordered 250 business cards and when I received them I noticed some cards were torn, the surface was scratched or the print quality was terrible. I conservatively estimated that about 10% of my order was unsatisfactory. I contacted customer service asking to reprint the unsatisfactory cards. They claimed that there are enough extras in the box to make up for the cards they messed up and suggested I count the cards in my entire order. Upon doing that I found more cards I wasn't happy with, 31 that were extremely damaged and 33 more with lighter cutting damage, and only 7 extra cards. They claimed to not be able to reprint 30 cards, even though I informed them it was now 64 cards that were not up to par. They offered a small amount of store credit and when I told them I was not certain I'd be using their services and I'd like a reprint or refund like thier guarantee says, they sent an insanely rude and unprofessional email with certain words in all caps and implying again that this is not thier fault. They called the bad cards ready mades and claimed that by weight I had received enough cards, even though they made me count my entire order already. I had to fight to get a 13% refund when approximately 25% of my cards were not acceptable quality. I've ordered many things for my small business over the years and I've never received such unprofessional and rude service. They take no accountability for thier mistakes and are unwilling to resolve issues. I will be taking my business else where and I suggest you do too. read more

Not a good experience at all. I ordered some stickers for my business, but the first package I received was a completely different order for someone else - labeled to be shipped to me, but I noticed the smaller sticker on the side had a slightly different order number so that somehow got messed up. I reported this, took pictures, and they re-did my order- only for it to be wrong again. I'd ordered stickers originally, but the order they gave me the second time around they were just printed on notecard paper. Completely unusable. The fact that one order I had got messed up twice means I'm definitely never using this service again :( read more

BUYER BEWARE--I recommend finding another on line printer. This company's printing capabilities are bottom of the barrel. They cut off the edge of the business cards that I ordered. I send in their "error form" and they responded by telling me that they warned me that cards may shift during the cutting process. They offered a "store credit" refund. Only recently discovered that they lack the system to handle bulk business cards orders. Currently in a nightmare scenario with having to upload 125 business card orders (all the same format and quantity-different employees at one company) individually through their online system. Each upload will take between 2 (at best) and 4 minutes, and as you add more cards, the system tends to bog down. Have to pace myself doing about 25 a day (their max order size, anyway) to get through this with any sanity left. Client not happy with having to pay the extra cost of all the extra time to upload. When I called beforehand to see if they had a way to accommodate larger orders like this, she could only apologize. read more

Now I'm finding out that the shipping time frame they gave me, according to their own employees, isn't even a possibility... So here I am, 2nd order, 2nd issue... This company could have made it right by getting me the item I bought by Saturday? (7 days from when I ordered it) but instead just offered me another $20 charge. Graphic designers and those serving customers: BEWARE! If you need something by a specific date DO NOT pay for the extra shipping because it's not honored at all by the company! I have been using this company for over 15 years. I just recently put in three orders and chose expedited shipping to guarantee my order would be received by my customer on a specific date. As of the last day it was supposed to be delivered, it was still in print, so I called for an update and they said it could take up to two more days to get there as it hasn't been shipped yet. I don't understand why if I paid for expedited shipping they don't guarantee it. I understand they can't control shipping times, but the project wasn't even finalized by the last day it was supposed to be there. My client needed it by a specific date because she was going out of town, so now they can't be used. I could have saved money and not lost a client. When I called to ask about the situation the customer service representative said oh that's just an estimate. I asked why I paid extra for expedited shipping and processing, and again all he said was that's an estimate. Didn't care at all. Incredibly disappointed and this 15-year-customer won't be back. I used GotPrint several times a few years ago. Their service was pretty reliable and the work was of good quality. However the software for design that runs on their website was very poor and fiddly. I went back to them a few days ago - their promotions suggested that their web design service was better. It is not - and runs on Adobe Flash, which is dangerous for most computer users. I used Google Chrome (which includes Flash as standard) as a workaround. The "advanced designer" software is still no better than before. I designed a new business card (as I've moved) and ordered a small supply of them. I'm currently in Hawaii on business, and thought I might send the cards here. Their website estimated shipping costs at $31 for "Express Shipping" (2 days) and $55.65 for "Standard" (6 business days) service! Something wrong here. . .a box of business cards shipped regular post is about $4. Switching to my regular home address in California, I was offered $9.10 for "Standard" shipping, $16.48 for Next Day AM and $17.16 for Next Day PM! Something definitely wrong here. read more

Now that I'm done crying, here's my updated review. GotPrint managed to screw up my order TWICE. I submitted my order late night on Sat March 5. I received my order on Mon March 14, on the sixth business day after submission. A printing mistake appeared on every single card. I contacted GotPrint by phone on 3/14, was told to submit a problem message, & submitted a problem message on 3/14. Didn't hear back for 4 days, so *I* called GotPrint again on 3/18. Read my first review for GotPrint on 3/20 if you'd like more details. On 3/21, a GotPrint manager contacted me on Yelp. After exchanging a few messages, I almost wanted to look forward to the assurance of improved service, and I considered bumping up my rating in an update. That will not happen. In a second message via Yelp, the manager informed me that not only was the lack of response GotPrint's error, but the printing mistake was GotPrint's error as well. In the course of the back-and-forth messaging, these things stood out: 1. A $10 coupon would be given for my inconvenience. 2. Reprints were said to be placed on a "higher priority" than regular orders. 3. The manager said some form of "I will do my best" or "I assure you we will do everything we can to turn this experience around for you" four times. This statement was reiterated several times by others in the company. 4. The manager said some form of "we resolve it for you as quickly as possible" SEVEN times. This was said several other times in phone conversations or chats with other GotPrint reps. Most decent companies would *comp* orders if the company was at fault for a mistake in the order. GotPrint made two mistakes and offered me a $10 coupon so that I could subject myself to more crappy service. There seems to be no difference between an order that is "higher priority" and regular orders. See below for explanation. When a manager repeatedly drills into your mind that they will do their best, offer many assurances, and try to convince you of service that exemplifies "as soon as possible," you get the impression that your order will be sped through the process and waiting for your order the second time will be much more pleasant than the first. The opposite was true for GotPrint. When I put in my first order, I received the shipment on the 6th business day. The reprinting that resulted from GotPrint's mistake delayed the reprinting from happening for 4 days, and I didn't receive my shipment until the 7th business day. Now, one business day doesn't make a big difference unless, of course, you were being assured with phrases such as "as soon as possible". In no way did my order ever seem like it was on a higher priority. 3/21 Talked with Armen on the phone and he said that a manager would see that my document goes into printing today. 3/22 Spoke with Evelyn E on live chat to ask for confirmation of my order going into print. She was less interested in offering help, and more interested in saying things such as "Orders are reviewed in the order in which they are received. If you wish to further discuss the problem with Armen you can call in" despite the fact that I told her I had no access to a phone that day. 3/25 Spoke with Elizabeth O on live chat to ask for the status of my order. She says it's still in print and should be completed in 2-3 business days. I ask why it is taking so long since my order went into print on Monday and she explains the batching process, which makes no exceptions for reprints. She also states, "We try to be as efficient as possible to keep the costs down for our customers" and "This order will complete within the turnaround time." That last statement gave me no impression that being on "higher priority" was any different than submitting an order for regular priority. I also do not appreciate that all live chats end with the customer service rep saying, "Thank you for using GotPrint.com and have a wonderful day!" no matter how dissatisfied the customer feels about GotPrint's service. Those canned responses are a clear sign that GotPrint has a greater understanding of mere decorum than a genuine interest in resolving customers' issues. ***Wed 3/30*** I finally receive my order from GotPrint. I open the box. The main printing error is fixed, but now there is a MAJOR MISALIGNMENT ERROR. I don't know how GotPrint manages to screw up so many things at once. This is absolutely -- absolutely -- ridiculous. A few other reviewers had positive experiences, but they seem to be exceptions. I recommend that all new customers steer clear of this company. Yes, I recommend that you pay more for services at other companies so that you can at least have some peace of mind -- and not have to deal with a reprinting or poor/misleading customer service. This is a company equivalent to rotten cat vomit. They supposed to do one thing, and they don't do it. We ordered 5,000 postcards and put in a rush order. They told us they would be ready for pickup by Friday- we get there Friday afternoon and they won't be ready until Monday. Way to not tell us either and not only waste our money, but also our time. The order we put in before that was for 1,000 postcards. A week later we get a bunch of flyers for some random church function instead. Thanks, but that's not what we ordered. Hey, guess what! Buyers beware, if you need something printed, be sure to order at least 2 months before you are ready to use. They NEVER seem to get anything right. Customer service will tell you one thing, then one week later when you are expecting your order, something gets screwed up and you have to wait again...with fingers crossed that this time it will actually go into production. You are lucky if you get your order in a month unless you are willing to fork over extra cash for rush and even then you have to be on top of them to make sure it actually gets done. Prices are great but with customer service sacrificed. Horrible turnaround time and the entire experience will leave you frustrated and stressed. I have never wanted to pull my hair out more than I have with this printer. I understand cutting out the cost on customer service, but what about common sense? GotPrint screwed up three different pieces in my order, or should I say two and then jam packed all the envelopes so tight in my last order that they are all stuck together and rip apart when you try to pull them. Oh and that "coupon code" that they say they will send takes up to a week to process, or so I am told by some lady reading a prompt who only says the same thing over and over again. That does you no good when your client is already pissed off that they don't have the finished product in hand. Only use this printer if you have no problem getting the wrong thing, waiting, being spoken to like you are a fourth grader...oh and also if you don't mind being fired over working with them. Disgusting is the word that comes to mind to describe my overall experience with Got Print. I have placed several orders over the last few months, and almost always had a problem. The customer service motto seems to be "No, we can't" and this has been my experience with almost every person I ever spoke with in the company. Ordered 5000 business cards, 5 different batches for my entire office. ALL 5000 of them were either cut or printed crooked... either way my design is not centered on the card. We call their customer support to discuss the issue and all they did is rudely tell me to submit a claim on their website and made no effort to resolve the issue over the phone at all. The only plus side is our order was cheap... BUT we still don't have business cards... I still don't know when I will have them or whether or not they will refund me or reprint them. If I had the choice... I wouldn't go through Got Print again... nor would I recommend them to anyone. You get what you pay for! read more
