This last time, there was a black line around half of the circle; as if their machine cut them crooked. I called and was told someone would be in touch with me. Nothing. The good: The prices are very good and the quality is terrific. They are also the only printer that does rounded corners at a reasonable price. The bad: Their user experience is terrible. I've tried doing a simple re-order and the problem is their editing tools don't work after an order has been made. So, what happens is that they cancel the order and you have to re-do the order. I've been trying to do a simple re-order and I've had to cancel the order and re-order it three times. It's maddening. I've been a loyal GotPrint customer for 8 years (printing mostly postcards), but recently their quality has been declining. With my last job done, enough is finally enough. This is really sad, because GotPrint used to be an excellent company. They used to have quick turnaround, excellent print quality, and first rate customer service. Now the print time has slowed, the physical stock used and print quality are diminishing, and the customer service is one-size-fits-none. To talk a little bit about this last order when enough-was-enough: the material for the postcard was very thin, so that it felt (and bent) more like paper than a proper postcard. The print quality was also dull and pixelated (despite starting from a high rez 300DPI master). The product looks embarrassingly amateurish, and cannot be used to represent the product advertised. I am grateful for the 8 years when they were great, but I have to search out another vendor now. read more

At first their business cards appear to be a great price and they suck you in that way but once you go through all the trouble of placing a large order you find out there is NO COMBINED SHIPPING DISCOUNT for multiple items and by the time you have placed an order of 20 small boxes of cards the shipping is inflated to nearly $100 for standard ground. If you are ordering one box they do just fine but if you are ordering multiple boxes beware of high shipping charges. Also, their website is not user friendly when it comes to placing orders for multiple items. You need to go through all of the tedious steps for each and every item. UPDATE: My reply to the comment below from GotPrint is that UPS does not charge anywhere hear $94 to ship a 40 pound box of business cards. When you deal in such volume as I'm certain Got Print does, it stands to reason that there will inevitably be a handful of disappointed customers. Unfortunately, the majority of people that "find time" to post reviews online are the ones that are upset. My personal experience with Got Print has always been nothing less than fantastic. I've ordered thousands of business cards, event tickets and tri-fold brochures from them and I've never been disappointed. I've had questions in the ordering process and found their customer service to be up to the task. The pricing is always very competitive and I've always managed to hunt up a promo code to save even more. If I ordered comparable products from my local print shop, I would end up paying two to five times more than with Got Print. Additionally, I find no significant difference in turn-around time when ordering from Got Print compared to ordering from my local shop. As long as you read and follow the instructions that they provide, you will receive the product just how you want it. The "safe zones" and "cut zones" are there for a reason. Even when I have pushed the boundaries a bit on the "safe zone", their proofing department was quick to warn me and offer a solution. In my case, I proceeded despite their warning and the product came out great. I knew that it was at my own risk at that point. It was a calculated risk for me that would have yielded a negligible difference in the final product, so I went for it. Nevertheless, they did catch the error and gave me the opportunity to fix it. In terms of quality and price, I don't know of a better value anywhere for my printing needs. I highly recommend Got Print. read more

The uploading and submitting process was really easy, I was able to get in contact with their customer service department when I had questions and they got straight back to me. The quality of the prints was great. The only hiccup was I ordered the fastest turnaround time and it came a day late. Gotprint.com is an on-line printer which offers the highest quality and the lowest prices on full color offset gang-run printing. They are unbelievable! Our restaurant gets their full color postcards, both sides, on a thick card stock for about $.04 cents a card including shipping! I don't know how they do it. They also do our business cards. To use the site is a breeze. You just upload your design, proof it, approve it, give 'em your info and credit card number and in a couple of days, you have your postcards! Easy. read more

We use GotPrint on a very regular basis for work and have only had shipping/rush issues that resulted into shipping/rush and customer issues. It's happened a couple of times when I'll rush an order and will get in the same amount of time if I hadn't rushed it. That's a lot of money down the drain. Also, the customer service isn't very helpful and unsympathetic. We've called about the issues with it being rushed and coming 2 weeks later, that doesn't sound like rush to me. Their response is basically 'there's nothing we can do' and they have the attitude to match. A credit? Or free shippping on your next order? Especially for their frequent customers. Anything, however small, would help their customer service. That being said, all-in-all we've always been very please with the end result and that's why we continue to use them. They have a variety of options and package their orders well to prevent shipping damages. As long as you read everything thoroughly and never have to call customer service you'll love 'em! read more

I used GotPrint for a promotional postcard for my non-profit and the product I received looked terrible - the color was so overexposed that all nuance in the artwork imagery was gone. I can't believe their QC department even allowed it to ship. After calling their customer service line, the agent said that the art file was pixelated, implying my file was the problem - but the postcard had no issue with pixelation or smoothness in the images/text. It is offensive to conflate the issue after it was clearly stated and further implies the agent was not paying proper attention. The agent then redirected me to fill out a form on their site, promising that someone would get back to me within 24 hours. I should probably have also mentioned in the issue ticket that the cut on the postcard is skewed. UPDATE: GotPrint came through on the refund - pretty much immediately. All dealings with their customer service agents since the above post have been prompt and professional. I'm still not sure what to do with the unusable postcards but I will say that they were very easy to work with following. read more

I ordered through GotPrint for their 500 business cards at $8.50 deal. After reading the reviews on here, I was a little leery as to how the quality/color might come out, and the faithfulness to the sent image. I decided to try anyway since it wasn't that much cost, and it was a great deal if things worked out. I'm really glad I tried, because the cards I picked up turned out great! They were the size/paper type I ordered, the image looked the same as what I had sent and nothing was too off that I could tell. There's part of my design where a text gradient gets quite light, and I was afraid it might not appear on the card at all, but it was still visible and legible! The site is a little confusing - while I was decided and going back and forth online, it kept wiping my info and making me restart the process. If you have everything ready and are good to pay right away though, it's not bad. Also, the service people at the pick-up center aren't super warm and friendly, but I got my cards promptly and politely. I'm not complaining with the price, and I was getting business cards, not wedding invites. I'm in the area so I could drive to pick up instead of the shipping fee as well, which was nice. (Though with the current cost of gas I might as well just get it shipped if I'm not going near Burbank for other reasons...) read more

So this is the first time I used GotPrint. I designed a 5x7 post card for our 'Save the Date' announcements for our wedding. I researched different places to print locally and online, and I found that GotPrint was about HALF THE COST of printing anywhere else I found. I was naturally skeptical so I called in and tried to figure it out. I spoke to someone who was incredibly helpful, so I decided to roll the dice. UPLOADING - uploading your document is generally very easy. Pay attention to the directions they give you about the size of your document and the recommended resolution for best results. Take the time to read about the margins and bleed area around your image for best results. In general upload is easy and quick. PRICING - pricing is simple and straight forward. You don't have to go to a check out cart to figure out pricing. There are pricing calculators to help you figure out exactly what your project will cost. RESPONSIVENESS - the email correspondence from them is usually immediate and very helpful. When they give you a time line on their website - it's accurate. TURNAROUND TIME - I thought since I paid less that something had to give, probably slower turn around - NOPE. Got the cards turned around super quick! CUSTOMER SERVICE - I had an issue with the first set of cards that were printed - they were too dark. I called customer service and the guy I talked to took the time to understand my problem, opened up my documents I uploaded, suggested what I could do to edit them, and then directed me to open up a trouble ticket. Within a day or so my order was COMPLETELY REFUNDED - tax and all, and was applied as a discount code on my next order. I took the suggestions that the gentleman gave me about my upload documents and revised my order. **the key is - spend a little more for the 24hr email proof to ensure you're print is accurate. They canceled my order because of wrong size. They didn't even care to contact me in person! I received an email in my spam 2 days later that they canceled my order and I need to re-upload the files! I went to re-upload the files and then they told me that I can't use my 30$ discount coupon because it's already used in my preview order that they canceled! Also, my new order is not going to be ready in the timeline that I planed to have it! So unprofessional. They should contact the customer in case of a problem with the upload files. At first I was hesitant to order from GotPrint because of all the negative reviews that I read. I did it anyways because a friend who works at a Marketing Company does business with them. I am ABSOLUTELY GLAD I went with GotPrint instead of the other printing companies. I was browsing through the website and I was astonished by how many things you can do with GotPrint, AND how incredibly cheap the prices are. I requested a sample. package and I recieved it in the mail THE NEXT day. I was extremely pleased by their high quality paper. I had to format all my work into the format that they wanted. GotPrint is very simple to use. Just read the instructions. They guide you step by step of how to upload, how to format, etc. If you still don't get it... CALL them. I'm still not sure why there were so many complaints about how horrible GotPrint's customer service is... I called them at least 4 to 5 times, and all those times the staff were very friendly and professional. When I sent in my template for the half circle cards, I received an e-proof of how the card would look like. I approved it and received my cards 12 days later. I was very satisfied on the overall look of my cards, but I did notice that the colors seem a bit off. The colors looked much more dim than what it did on my computer. GotPrint did disclose that on their website that the colors that are on our computer screen will look much brighter than the printed material. I just thought that since my computer screen was properly color calibrated, this wouldn't be an issue. I was wrong.I called in anyways to tell them about my situation and GotPrint gave me a 50% discount code in case I did want to re-print it WITHOUT any retaliation. Luckily the color wasn't wasn't a deal breaker for me because it is MY fault for ignoring their disclosure. It's already nice for them to give me a discount for my next purchase. Next time I will brighten up the colors and try to request a tangible copy (If it's possible) to make sure the colors match. Overall, this is a great printing. company. The quality is excellent, the customer service is great, and the price is affordable! I will definitely use them again! Note: The building is kind of difficult to find. I have been using this company for over 10 years. Until today I have never had a problem. I ordered the same letterhead we have had printed at several other printers (including 4-color gang run places) and it has always been blue. I submitted the same digital file to GotPrint and it turned out purple. When I brought this to their attention, they were at first indifferent, Fernando was nice and tried to help, Eric gave me incorrect information and ultimately George was very hostile and hung up on me before I could even say 5 words to him. At no time did a I use an unprofessional tone. How a company can treat customers this way is beyond me. When a customer brings a problem to the attention of a company it's their chance to improve their product/service. If you are hostile to them and refuse to admit you made a mistake, you lose a loyal customer forever and you continue to have problems. George gave me a refund but he did so as an insult vs. an offer to help. This company has a lot to learn about basic customer service. Every other printer can print the mix I provided as blue except for GotPrint. BTW, the mix is 99cyan and 56 magenta. The owner of this company should really review his company's practice. read more

There were some minor issues with some of the cards appearing to be heavily saturated and darker in color and I still wish the business cards we're first boxed then placed in a shipping package. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND GETTING ANYTHING IMPORTANT, OR FOR A CLIENT, PRINTED AT GOT PRINT. I've sent them files to be printed in the past and they came back fine. But this time I had a horrible experience. I sent Got Print six posters to be printed. All the prints came back with a green tint. One that was Black And White. came back mostly dark Green. Clearly there was an issue with their printers. When I received the prints I took a picture with my phone and put the digital file next to it in Photoshop. I didn't think it would be a big deal that the color was clearly off. When I emailed them they first accused me that my files were RGB. Not only was this insulting, but it was a complete lie. They finally told me the manager would call me. When he did, I was in a meeting and couldn't answer. I called the manager back several times and left messages. But I never received another call from them. I had to get all the prints reprinted by another company. The prints from Got Print were unusable and a waste of money. Nothing was solved in the end, I had to cut my loses. It is well worth paying more at another company, then having the chance of something like this happen. read more

RUSH ORDER? READ THE FINE PRINT - Luckily, I got my bookmarks in the nick of time, but when you think it's a three day-turnaround from ordering to receiving, think again. That's only if you order before 8 am PST. If you order even one minute later than that, the computer counts your order as arriving the next day! Would be nice if when you placed the order ,it would tell you when the product would arrive before you hit submit. *I edited this up from a one-star when I called to check on my order and was told that my order wouldn't arrive on time. I was bummed to discover today that my GotPrint order from last week would not be completed and ready to ship until this Friday, meaning it would not arrive via the ground shipping I selected until mid week next week - after the event I needed the print work done for. After phoning customer service and speaking with Fernando, I was thrilled when he appealed to my plea and was able to "motivate" the printers to complete my work within the hour, days ahead of schedule. Unfortunately, the ground shipping would still not get my items delivered in the time frame I hoped. I called Fernando back, he called me back, and I am thrilled to say he was able to find my boxes in the middle of the pallets and was able to help me upgrade my shipping to next day air. I'm a photographer and I use them constantly. One of my graphic designer friends told me about them. I've ordered postcards, business cards etc. They are always quick and I'm about one hour away from them so sometimes I just go and pick up my orders which I can always check up online to see if its ready or not. I never had any issues color wise or quality wise. I've printed at other places and they are slower, worse quality and pricier. The only time I had a question was I had seen somewhere that they had a 500 postcards for 20 bucks special and when I went in to order my total was like 40 bucks. So I went on their website and they had a livechat thing and so I spoke with someone immediately. So I dont know why some people complain about hearing a response from the website when they can talk to someone live. The person informed me it was for color front no back, which for 20 bucks is still a bargain! And then I used some of their promo codes so I got a couple bucks off that. I'd hate to say "you get what you pay for" but it's true, they are cheap so the result is hit and miss. I own a small bussiness, and I have been ordering my Flyers and Business cards from them ever since we started (begining of 2010). I have also (regretably now) recomended them to several friends and other small businesses that I have worked with. My first few orders were decent. My last one however is very disappointing, when you order from them, whether you download your own artwork or design on their site, they will send you a proof for you to approve or fix. Well I recieved my last order and it did not look like the one that I approved, my flyers had borders on each corner and when I got it, one of the borders were cut off (so it looked badly designed). So I wrote them a "problem message" about it (as per their instruction) hoping that they will realize their mistake and send me flyers that are presentable enough for me to pass out. They promptly answered my inquiry, but with a message saying something along the lines of: If you read our instructions we said that we do not recomend borders. And sometimes, the images shifts in the cutting process. They did offer me a discount code, but why would they expect me to pay again? I don't wanna pay for something they messed up on! What's the point of approving the proof, if they are gonna send me something else anyway? Very inconsistent.... read more

I ordered some Postcards from Got Print about a week ago and I'm extremely satisfied with the finished products! The price was extremely reasonable, the postcards came out great and the customer service is awesome. Not to mention the postcards actually came in the mail literally the day after they shipped them! Some of the other reviews are mentioning that they had trouble with rush orders, and I haven't tried that myself but I will say that they have every other aspect of their business in great working order. To my surprise, There was no implication that this service would, decide to deliver the items to me in ONE AND A HALF WEEKS... mind you this is after I burned an addition $80 on to get it rushed processed and next day air. Their web help took forever and was extremely unhelpful. The phone operator was friendly but ultimately unhelpful. He said the item was already printing... (I don't know how 250 sheets of paper and 250 business cards take over a week to print). I asked if there was any way to remove it from the queue, and he said no that there's nothing that could be done, but I could make a new order. I asked for the timing of the new order and he said it would be at least a week. even if I rush and next day air it. I haven't received my order yet so I cannot yet attest to the quality of the prints but if you have any urgency in your print order, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND YOU USE A DIFFERENT SERVICE. After reading one-star reviews on Yelp, I was very nervous about using their service, but since their two-day shipping was cheaper and their turnaround time was faster than others like VistaPrint, I decided to give them a try. I ended up ordering 100 business cards. I was not in hurry, so I went with "Standard turnaround time". I uploaded my business card images with no problem (although when I uploaded them, the preview looked very rough and in low-resolution.) I placed the order on Tuesday (6/11), and I got an confirmation e-mail and "Your order was approved" e-mail on Wednesday. The order was shipped on Friday. Today (6/18) I received the cards and THEY ARE GORGEOUS! I went with "Gloss coated cover paper" and the cards are so shiny! The color and resolution turned out very accurate. Maybe I was very lucky, but I had no problem with them at all. In fact, I'm very satisfied with their service and I will use them again. read more
