Old Stinky P was kind of looking for something different than the frequent Pizza, Thai or Chinese today. He was always curious about what the charming and lovable Chef Ramsay was offering up at his burger restaurant. Tapped up delivery on the interweb and chose the Bleu Cheese burger. Came fairly quickly and was well packed. Fries were just ok and burger was very large. Ordered it medium but it came medium well to well. The toppings were plentiful and just a bit too busy, especially the Onions. Tasting the burger without the toppings was not a lot better because there was not too much taste to it. Of course that could be because it was overcooked. Stinky was kind of sad because he loves a wicked pissah burger. He may consider ordering again from his favorite chef in hopes it is cooked the way it was ordered and will try a different type of burger. Stinky would love to give more than two stars to Chef Ramsay and will indeed do that and update if he can the next time. read more

I don't get the hate on this place. The burger was so delicious. The fries were great. My server was very personable and the bill was affordable. There's an anti-TV Chef vibe in Boston pushed by reviewers like MCSlimjb and his leftist cult that are responsible. I would recommend this place. I will say there are lots of other good restaurants locally owned that are excellent too read more

I've been wanting to try a ramsay burger in a few cities I've visited, but just never made it to one of them. I got the breakfast burger, which is a beef patty, egg, hash brown, bacon and cheese. It definitely lived up to the hype and was easily in my top 3 burgers of all time. I knocked a few stars for the value, it was pricey and my table was pretty messy with leftover fries from someone else all over the floor. read more

I'd only been to the one in Vegas, and this is a while back. I'm not sure if my burger standards have increased over time, but didn't think the burger here was nearly as good as what I remember from the Vegas location. Tried the Hells Kitchen burger. It was fairly flavorless and dry. I think that they should have added more sauce. Also maybe use better quality beef. No wait, which was a nice change. Prices reasonable for a Ramsay joint (although does not include fries). read more

So having been to several Ramsay establishments this one is last. To get service was slow. 30 mins to get water and take the drink order is well below par. Then the order was disappointing as the burger ordered medium was rare (see pic) and came late. The food was below standard of any burger joint never mind a Ramsay restaurant. Also they might have wanted to turn on the heat as the place was stone cold. In all I would not recommend the place unless you dont have a choice. Lots of better places at the Marketplace. read more

Dear oh dear...!!! "Bloody delicious." Love him or hate him... the man knows how to make a burger Being a huge Gordon Ramsay fan, just had to try his burger place being so close to home. And it surely did not disappoint. Very original and colorful looking ambience. Gives you a bit of a casual yet elegant diner vibe where you would go with friends to hangout to grab a burger & a shake. Please be warned though, given its location and of course the name that's on the sign outside, expect to pay a bit extra but that should come as no surprise. Backyard Burger Very lean Pattie with just the right amount of fat served with American cheese, Bibb lettuce, tomato, red onion & butter pickles served in a toasted sesame seed bun All in all, a great location paired with a great tasting burger and good service. Very satisfied. read more

Gordon Ramsay Burger - Delicious, but Bring Your Wallet If you're craving a gourmet twist on a classic burger, Gordon Ramsay Burger delivers big flavor with a celebrity-chef touch. The burgers are juicy, perfectly seasoned, and layered with high-quality ingredients--from brioche buns to aged cheeses and crispy toppings. So I have to give it big stars for the burger. And low stars for the rest. This makes it a 3. First the burger, medium pink and was absolutely delicious. Matches the burger at Ramsays location in Vegas. The menu said burger with fries. No fries came with the meal when delivered. I called and it went to voicemail, no call back. The chowder - ehh. I had better chowder at the American Airlines lounge in the Boston Logan airport. And that's not a slack on AA. Dang good chowder and way better than Ramsays. I know some will say - you're judging chowder at a burger joint. Well if it isnt good then don't serve it. Take it off the menu. I mean GR is a screaming lunatic on his shows but doesnt have the same standards for his staff at a restaurant with his name on it???!!! In GR words "Get the F out of here and give me two names to fire." read more

Hmm, it's weird when you don't quite know how you feel. Would I eat there again if someone suggested it or if it was close and I was very hungry- yes. Would I suggest it for a team dinner-nope. First, I ordered a root beer float. Folks, it was sad and the portion of ice cream was barely acceptable. For dinner I had the Impossible Blue Burger. The blue cheese aioli (or spread) was delish. Salty but very good. The fries when they are hot are better than average. Mine were served warm. Service- the host was delightful and very polite upon entry and exiting. The waiter was okay. Ambiance- the restaurant was very empty. I think there were only 5 tables with diners the entire time I was there. Clean and in a great location near the north end and the bridge. As a vegetarian I am grateful to have a good burger choice, but maybe you need to have a great beef patty to give this place 5 stars. read more

I'm disappointed. While the patty in my vegan burger was juicy, the buns were extremely dry. Also, there was too much avocado. The oreo crème brûlée shake was 5/5, though. I chugged that thing. Heck, I even got another to-go. I liked the atmosphere here and the waitress was pleasant and fun. There are three single stall unisex bathrooms with baby changing stations near the back. read more

Gordon Ramsay - Burgers Near Me - Boston, Massachusetts

It honestly pains me to write this, because I had high expectations, but this restaurant needs serious improvement. The place wasn't even that crowded, yet the staff struggled to keep up due to what was clearly a very backed-up kitchen. Even the manager admitted how bad things were, comped our entire meal, and mentioned frustration with the chef's performance. The disorganization was hard to miss--bartenders were serving food, orders were delayed well beyond reason, and when the food finally arrived, it was disappointing. Burgers came out overcooked when we had asked for medium rare, and the fries were cold. For a menu centered on burgers and sandwiches, this level of execution falls far short of expectations--especially at the price point. What makes this especially sad is that the restaurant sits in a high-traffic area and should be thriving. Instead, it left a poor impression. If a brand like Gordon Ramsay's can't keep up with the basics, it may be time to pause, reassess, and restart with a sharper focus on quality and consistency. At this level, every burger should come out as close to perfection as possible, and unfortunately, that just wasn't the case. read more

Not worth the price! When you order the burger you don't get a side of fries like in other burger places! You have to order them separate. So came to almost $30 for a small burger and fries. We had a bad experience with the service too, we were made feel very uncomfortable. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone looking for a burger Boston. This place was amazing! I went in expecting crazy expensive prices but it was pretty affordable around $20-25 per burger wich is not bad. The food was delicious the burger patty was thick and flavorful. Bun was delicious, fries were flavorful and the portions were huge! My freind had an allgery and they were very cautious about it. Inside was causal and cute nice view of Boston. Our Watiress and the host were friendly although we had to wait a couple minutes to be seated beacuse the host wasent there. My biggest complaint is the menu is a little small. It's in a great location about a ten minute walk from TD garden. Highly highly recommend for a cheap and delicious burger! read more

The burger is fine, above average even. But the fries told a bad story. They were tough on the outside and a little burnt. To me it seemed they had been dunked in hot oil one too many times or left out too long or something (they weren't busy, if they had been busy this probably wouldn't have happened). This is a $20 burger and fries: not super expensive, but the premium over fast food prices should at least encourage fresh/optimized fries for each customers in my opinion. I'd go back nonetheless for just a burger if they offered a la carte burgers, but they don't. read more

The core product - the burger was good. The fries were good. The music playing overhead was great. The out of the box food was well .. odd which made me ask "why"? A chicken sandwich with a hash brown on it? It adds nothing but creating a food that is harder to eat - doesnt compliment the sandwich at all. The caesar salad was chopped way too fine and had too much dressing. The croutons were crumbs but to be fair they called them crumbs on the menu. Whats wrong with a normal caesar salad? Also - they didnt have onion rings - one of the things on the menu we all wanted (lost revenue). Understandably with the worldwide onion shortage .. we all just need to accept it I guess (this is sarcasm of course). Wont be back. read more

This place is located in the city, parking is minimal is not non existent. But there's parking garages located near by within walking distance (I hate walking but it's not a bad walk). The service was good, the bartender was pleasant, and attentive, and it wasn't busy. The food was very very average. Which is disappointing considering Gordon Ramsays name is slapped on it. The French onion burger its self was good, the "dip" was lacking flavor and salty- very similar to a saltiness of soy sauce. The dessert was absolute trash, i got the brownie sundae. It did not give brownie Sunday, and instead gave whipped cream in a glass. One of the most disgusting desserts I've ever had. I couldn't even finish it. read more

After being in the area going to the boston tea re-enactment (lived in Boston since like '05 and for some reason took me this long to go there), walked in here for late lunch. Service: No complaints here, had a nice attentive waiter, but also went on Jan 2 so there weren't that many people there. So not sure how this place would hold up when full. Ambiance: Decent building/place, I did go on Jan 2, so not very busy Price: Kind of pricey for what it is, but not that outrageous. Its in line with other high end burger places, such as capital burger. Food: I saw reviews of people complaining about portions of fries that come with a side order. Maybe a bit subjective, but after eating a 1/2 pound burger, the amount of fries you get in a side order is appropriate, I didn't even finish all of mine. I ordered the backyard burger and added bacon. The bun on the outside looked like it was going to be bready and crumbly, but surprisingly it was quite soft. The burger, which I ordered medium, was very juicy, had juices coming out of the burger as I was eating, which is what I would expect. It barely hit the edge of being messy, but overall it wasn't. Fries were fries, no complaints there, but nothing to rave about. There was regular ketchup and chipotle ketchup, chipotle one was fairly good. I wasn't necessarily blown away, but overall good enough that I would come back if wanted a good burger and didn't care too much about how much paying for it. read more

Overall: having tried the other Ramsay Burger in Vegas this doesn't meet their standard for a variety of reasons. The overall burger franchise has gone down significantly since way before Covid as they got rid of a popular staple, poutine. However, this franchise fails to keep up to the industry standard of quality and pricing. Food: the first alarming flag is that the burger come a La carte without fries at a hefty price of $17. That is already pretty concerning add on that the fries were $6 for regular and $9 for truffle. So you're looking at more than $50 for 2 people already. Looking at the portion the burgers were pretty sizable somewhere in the 1/2 pound patty range. However the fries were not cooked fresh and not nearly enough for even one persons worth especially at that price. Lastly the flavor was very bizarre if nothing other than to say that we left hungrier than when we first arrived. Mostly due to the lack of basic flavors. It felt like I was eating air?? I ordered the burger that comes with egg and bacon and there was no semblance of bacon flavor in the burger. Even the blue cheese burger lacked the pungent smell and flavor. Ambience/Decor/Service: the service was pretty exceptional, food came out reasonably quick, and it was a fairly well constructed restaurant. However, it gives off more upscale sports bar vibes than a true dining experience. Sadly I will probably not come back without significant changes. read more

The short take of it all is it's okay as an experience for an average burger, but overall disappointing given the namesake. You can delve into it further below. ATMOSPHERE/ARCHITECTURE: 6/10 First thing is first. The vibe and setting of the restaurant are fine. I actually quite like the 2nd floor seating that is half open air and half under a nice canopy. Great for a warmer spring or summer day. The docking of points came from the fact that a reservation was absolutely required. I don't quite understand the strict binding nature of this here. It was not really super busy the first time I tried to come in here, but fine, I will get a reservation. SERVICE: 6/10 Our serving staff was great for the most part, attentive and food came out quickly. Near the end though, it took a long time to get the check and it was not even picked up until we just brought it to the front desk ourselves. This took around 25 minutes and though I understand it was getting quite busy at the end of our meal, this was a downer. FOOD: 4/10 Backyard Burger - 6/10 - It was okay. That sums this up the best. I was not wowed by this burger at all. I did not leave here thinking, "Yes, I will crave for that burger sometime soon." I do not crave for this burger. Was it bad? No. Was it great? Also no. In Boston, Wahlburger truly stunned me much more. For a similar price range, this cannot compete. Onion Rings - 1/10 - These were utterly a catastrophe. They were fried with the dough hard as wood. I had to stab the ring maniacally to even be able to pierce it. And it failed the Onion Ring Test. The test of a good onion ring is when you bit into it, the onion inside should not all slip out at once. Guess what? It all slipped out and left essentially a snake husk of hard, fried dough. In Ramsay's words, this was "a disappointment." VALUE: 6/10 Not as overpriced as I expected it to be for a celebrity chef restaurant. However, given the food, it was overpriced because I could have had better for cheaper elsewhere. PROBABILITY OF RETURN: 2/10 Nothing really pulling me in from my experience there. TO EAT OR NOT TO EAT: Pass. OVERALL: 6/10 read more

My daughter and I we're so excited when we bumped into a Gordon Ramsey restaurant. I usually don't go out to restaurants and order hamburgers but today was an exception. Also, when I go out with my kids, I have to keep it simple. We decided to go in and have dinner. The wait was about ten minutes which we didn't mind. My daughter and I ordered the Backyard Burger which was seventeen dollars a piece, which doesn't come with fries. I ordered a water and the waitress brought us a bottle of water and I didn't realize until I gotten home that the restaurant charged eight dollars for a bottle of water. I would have never thought restaurants charge for water because usually restaurants bring you a bottle of water. I guess I just learned something new. The hamburger was okay. Nothing to rave about. It tasted like a hyped up Whopper Burger. In my opinion it's definitely not worth seventeen dollars for a burger. Although the burger wasn't that exciting, the waitress was very attentive, pleasant, and always came to the table to check on my daughter and I. read more

I would be surprised if this place survives a year. It's on prime real estate in Boston, right across from the North End. Even walking in, seeing plenty of tables open and tons of open reservation slots online, the wait was still long. Not in any rush, it was fine, but they don't seem to have their act together. Waiter was awesome though. I think his name was Nick, but I can't recall. Super nice guy. Best part. 25% tip for him, just for being attentive. The food... Corn dip was actually pretty good. Despite a pile of mostly crush chips to use for dipping, the corn was fresh and sweet and mixed with cheese. This was good. Onion rings are good. You can really chunky onions. Beer batter was good. They give you BBQ sauce for dipping with everything. Weird choice. It came with a creamy ranch dip too, which was better than BBQ for this appetizer. Blue cheeseburger... Nothing to write home about. The bun is good. Beef is fresh. Cooked to temperature too. Although it had blue cheese on it, that flavor was barely detectable. The choice to put a fried onion ring instead of raw red onion is wrong in my onion. You lose the raw onion flavor that pairs so well with blue cheese. Truffle fries were actually really good. They come with a truffle aioli to dip them in... and also BBQ sauce. What's with all the BBQ sauce?? The interior looks like a diner. The nice part is that it has big windows so you can people watch all the foot traffic to the North End. read more

So have you seen the movie The Menu? If you haven't, you should. And when I think about a restaurant that's focused on burgers- I hope the burger they serve is as good as THAT burger. It looked delicious. And when these burgers came out... I was hopeful they tasted as good as they looked. But ultimately they were just meh. They're good.... But there's something missing and I honestly can't say what. The fries are well prepared but nothing special. The service is great though... great enough that I feel bad about the 3 stars. I really can't say enough on how quick and attentive they are here. The decor... ehh. It's not my cup of tea. WHERE IS THE LAMB SAUCE?!?! Just kidding, there is no lamb sauce needed at this place as it's specialized in burgers rather than other Gordon Ramsay fine dining restaurants. I went with a group of friends on a rainy October day to try the new Gordon Ramsay Burger that had just opened maybe a month before. There is also a very cool dining space on the roof but it was raining so we unfortunately we couldn't get the experience of sitting there. We arrived at around 1:30pm and the restaurant was not very busy probably due to the rain. However, I'm not complaining because this resulted in a much faster service and no delays in getting our food. I really really really enjoyed the food! I started with the Hellfire Chicken Wings; once you take a bite, it's hard to stop eating because the wings are just that good! It was sweet and tangy with a little spicy flavor so it won't overwhelm you if you don't normally eat spicy food. I also got their burger of the month (Truffle Burger) and it was gone seconds! Then I finished off with an Oreo Creme Brûlée Shake which was top tier. I guess my only complaint would be the value of my meal. Although my meal was delicious, the portion was quite small considering their price range. My meal was $50 before tax (wings-$18; burger-$23; shake-$9) and I was still hungry afterwards. read more

Stopped by on the way back to the hotel so my sis could order a burger to go. She ordered the Hell's Kitchen burger with no avocado or bacon. The bar tender who we were asked to place the order with was not welcoming at all. She did not offer a menu so we just pulled it up on Yelp. Never greeted us and just had a general demeanor of not wanting to help us. When we got back to the hotel my sister opened her order to find that it still had the bacon on it. Which really would not have been a big deal but the attitude of the bartender and the wrong order together just did not make for a good experience. read more

What an amazing experience. I need to start out by giving a big shout out to the staff who were there on Friday October 11th. I was there with my teenage daughter for a concert but had time to eat before the show. From the moment we walked in we were greeted with a smile by a very kind hostess & sat right away. The waiter was awesome & happily answered all the menu questions. We ended up getting the fried hot chicken sandwich & Hell's kitchen burger. I had a question about the hot sauce for the chicken & the waiter knew all about it. He suggested I have the hot sauce on the side & I am so glad I did. It's not your regular hot chicken sauce. It has a deeper flavor but also hotter than what I was expecting. But OMG that chicken was perfection! It was tender & juicy & flaky with golden crispy coating. Just perfect. And the burger was phenomenal! I am drooling writing this review! lol Whoever cooked our food was My kid ordered a milkshake which was the best milkshake either of us have ever had. Going to write this with pure Gordon Ramsay flare... this place was fairly sub-par for me. Of course, having the name of Gordon Ramsay attached to it, this place won't be going anywhere - but I just think my burger was a bit undercooked (despite ordering medium) and - maybe this is a personal thing - but wish I didn't order the blue cheese burger. Too expensive for what you actually end up getting - especially a la carte with regards to the burgers. The fries were such small portions too and the server most definitely upsold them to us. Having said all of this, our server was still fairly attentive and the location itself is pretty sweet. Clean and sleek-appearing on the inside. read more

The burgers here are OK and not worth coming back for. The cost of a burger here ranges from $15-21 and do not come with any sides. If you want fries, you can get this for an additional $6 but their fries are decently sized and will feed up to 2-4 people. We tried a few different burgers here today including their Hells Kitchen Burger (their speciality burger with avocado, roasted tomato, mozzarella, and jalapeño), the Backyard Burger (simplest burger on the menu with standard tomato, onions, lettuce, and cheese), and their featured burger of the month, the Philly Burger (comes with thinly sliced sirloin, beef patty, cheez whiz, and caramelized onions). I was not a fan of the burgers as they were overall too soft for my personal liking, lacked texture, and the patties didn't really have a good "beefy" taste to them. The first thing i said to my table after biting into the burgers was that the burgers at The Capital Burger on Newbury St are MUCH better. I also think that the burgers that i personally make at home myself taste better than the ones i've had here today..... Gordon Ramsay, would you like to try my homemade burger? read more

This is my third experience with the Gordon Ramsay brand; and the best of the three. However, despite all the high notes, I can't say it was as mind-blowing as I'd expect from Mr. Ramsay. I had the opportunity to try: * Hell's Kitchen Burger * Just Fries * Smoke on the Water * Slow Byrne Hell's Kitchen Burger: As far as burgers go, this one was solid. The patty had very good 'meaty' flavor, and was cooked to a true medium as requested. It had enough moisture to not be dry, but not so much it quickly became burger soup on the plate. On the flip side, I found it light on the seasoning. A little extra S&P would have gone a long way. Not all is lost, however. The toppings helped bridge the gap. The fresh mozzarella, roasted jalapeño, and roast tomato had seasoning enough to get us most of the way there. Speaking of, while I generally like a crisp element to add contrasting texture, the combination here worked well. Finally, while I was grateful for the generous amount of avocado, it made the burger a slippery little bugger! Thus, while assembled with care, cooked appropriately, and with mostly tasty ingredients, there was nothing to elevate it from "really solid". Just Fries are, well, just fries. The potatoes were cooked perfectly and seasoned nicely. They were hot and fresh, and did not seem to have spent time under a lamp. The chives were a nice touch, though I am not sure they did much. The chipotle ketchup, though, I was definitely a fan of. Smoke on the Water was fantastic! Out of all the smoked old-fashioned (and others) I'd had, here the smoke definitely was not lost. Every sip had a little whiff of smokiness. Even outside of smoke and fire, this is one of the best old fashioneds I'd ever had. Despite being a spirit-forward cocktail, it went down silky smooth and was borderline refreshing! If you're not a whiskey drinker, do not be intimidated, this one is approachable and enjoyable for both whiskey drinkers and non-whiskey drinkers alike! Slow Byrne retained the best qualities of Smoke on the Water while being a wholly different cocktail. It was also smooth, and had a gentle, not overpower sweetness. It had a noticeable booziness, and a terrific level of tang. I was also very fond of the spice bequeathed by the Ancho Reyes! The service was excellent! It was just the right amount of attentive in making sure I was happy, and responding promptly to the subtle eye-contact-and-smile. Also, something I loved is they asked before clearing a plate of glass, even if it was empty. This was terrific, as sometimes, even though a plate/glass is empty, you don't quite want it taken away yet. The value was surprisingly good! A $17 burger and $15 cocktails are very reasonable considering the area and the name on the door. The $6 for a plate of fries I will let slide, just this once. The vibe inside is inviting, open, clean, and casual yet upscale. Not at all crowded either, which is always a plus in a city. Finally, just a quick note: only cold water in the washrooms? During a hot and humid 90° day this may be forgivable, but much less so when the harsh New England winter shows it's head. At the Gordon Ramsay level, some warm water would have been appreciated. Thus, a solid value for a solid burger. The experience is enhanced by stupendous cocktails and service. However, if it comes to the Hell's Kitchen Burger, while I did not at all leave disappointed, I was expecting something a little more "Whoa!" read more

We are visiting Boston from Chicago and wanted to really like this restaurant. We were both hyped to taste a GR burger. Sigh. The Good: drinks were fine. Nothing to write home about, but adequate. Onion rings were excellent. I've never had rings with whatever they used to fry it in, but it was fantastic. Truffle fries were great, as were the dipping sauces. My daughter liked her burger (she got the Hell's Kitchen Burger, sans avocado), medium rare. She's a tiny thing and usually can't eat an entire burger, but she inhaled the whole thing. The Bad: I am apparently very naive - I thought the vegan burger was something they made in house and was interested to taste the combo of veggies they use. Nope. It was just that over-processed, disgusting Beyond Burger, with terrifyingly oversalted tomatoes and lettuce. I have never looked forward to something and subsequently been so let down. I took it back to the hotel because I saw ducks and thought I'd feed them the bun. Service: was fine. He was sweet and was attentive. Ambiance: fine. It was upscale burger decor. I think I'd recommend going once just for the sake of saying I went to a Gordon Ramsay restaurant. But be aware one alcoholic beverage, one non-alcoholic beverage, and two burgers set me back $100 (including tip). I would not go back again though. It was not worth $100. But at least now I know I don't need to visit the Chicago one! read more

We came to Gordon Ramsay Burger on a Sunday evening and we were seated shortly after arriving. The service was thoroughly average, nothing spectacular but also nothing bad. We ordered the loaded potato chips, onion rings, truffle fries and sweet potato fries for the table. The onion rings were a highlight as they were perfectly fried and had a good ratio of breading. The sweet potato fries were absolutely delicious and I would 10/10 recommend getting them. I got the Farmhouse burger and really enjoyed it.
