I got the roots burger and it was delicious from the 1st bite. I definitely recommend cutting it in 1/2 with the knife they give you to lessen the mess a little bit. The coleslaw is just as good and wish they could give you a slightly bigger portion of it since you get it in a small cup. The Oreo milkshake is just as good and it definitely is sharable with 3 people. The service was good. The place can be packed and cramped but as long as you're fine with that you'll be fine.

More often than not, they disappoint at that price point. And some don't even come with fries for that price! But that's where we are. I ordered the Capital Burger for $23. It was arguably the best burger I've had in my life. Like a French onion soup infused burger. The taste was delectable, the quality top notch, and cooked to perfection. And yes, it came with fries. Finally, a burger worth the hefty price places charge nowadays. Wife had the Ribeye Steak Sandwich which was flavorful and plentiful, as we brought half home for lunch the next day. And surprisingly, the wine list is VERY reasonably priced. Again, if you eat out often, you know the prices for a glass of wine have risen beyond ridiculous the last couple of years. So appreciate this place for not price gouging.

Another great choice while in Boston for my mom who loves burgers! This was a last-minute decision,…read morebut I read reviews and decided to stop in for lunch. Unfortunately we did not book a reservation, so seating was either at the bar or outside. We found a two-seater at the bar and all was well. We ordered salt and pepper wings and BPH burgers for lunch. The food came out piping hot, the wings were seasoned just right and the burger was better than the "GR" burger we had on our first day. As for the ambience, it started off with a few patrons, but soon we noticed seats filling and understood why the hostess said "i know It looks empty now, but we have those tables reserved'" an unnecessary statement, but I guess she saw us looking around when she mentioned bar seating. Def give this place a try! It's going on my Boston Eats list if I'm ever visiting again.

Great meal to end the upper US marathon vacation!!…read more We had no idea where we may end up eating but the trusty Yelp app led us to another victory dance!! Yay for Yelp!! We had just cruised the nearby mall center thingy and were hungry on our last night in Boston. We saw the sites and did the things. Boston is a one of a kind place for sure. This was the choice. It was a great choice! Beautifully decorated and oh so chill inside. We have a thing that we do at places with great appetizers. We just order a bunch of those and feast. That's what we did here! We started with some raw oysters. They were very nice indeed. Island Creek Oysters from Duxbury MA. is where they came from. We love the little local Junts a lot and had them all over the northeast while we were there. We also had Crab Rangoon Dip. Very good, lots of fresh lump crabmeat, with a house chili crisp, scallions, and wonton chips. Loved it! They we had some fantastic mussels to close the deal! The flavor was amazing! I wish I could have them every single day! We also had a bowl of BPH Clam Chowder. CC is one of my favorite things and this place did not disappoint in any way! Delicious!! The server was great. She took great care and made our last night in Boston an unforgettable experience. If you are near, you should go right now! Why aren't you there yet? '26 - 108

You can stand at the end of the bar and order drinks if you like while you wait. After I was seated, I was promptly brought water and had my order taken. I got a cup of chowder and the lobster roll (hot with butter). I got both my chowder and lobster roll in under 10 mins of ordering. Well oiled machine. The chowder was hot and salty and creamy.
