I ordered 17 switches and paid 92.70 for over night shipping. I received 3 switches in one delivery from ups and 7 switches via fedex. I had to call and email about the 7 switches they did not send. They promised to send it overnight and they send me a tracking number for the items to be delivered two days later. They cost me both time and money because I had to pay the electrician to come to my house again and pay a cancellation fee. They are not a company I would do business with ever again. They are not honest and lie. They tell you anything to get off the phone. read more

Horrible customer service. Lack of transparency. Purchased some Milbank 200A Watt-Hour Meters. $195 down the dump. Purchased for commercial use and the meters were useless. There is a sticker attached to the meters(not disclosed anywhere on the description of the item) that says "not for commercial use, nor acceptable in the state of CA. This information was not disclosed, and after these people have your money you are screwed. Don't bother wasting your money here. My in-wall forced air heater died in my condo. I proceed with some research identifying the highest rated unit with the emphasis quietness. Oddly enough the highly rated unit is manufactured in the town where I reside. I checked online for multiple companies which sell this unit but found Gordon Electric being the least expensive - by a substantial amount. I proceeded to order the unit from Gordon Electric despite the fact they were over 2,000 miles away from where I live. The ordering process was efficient, courteous and painless. I received followup emails with confirmation, ETA, notification of the unit being shipped with the tracking. What more could one ask for? Definitely a returning customer. read more

This is the absolute worst company ive ever delt with in 10 years of electrical installations/repairs. They put me off for over 20 days without a response to an inquiry for a tracking number, i only received half my order to then be put off again when I inquired where it was. Randy is a horrible general manager and told me he couldnt help me and that I had a loud tone of voice. Ordered a INTERMATIC T104P3 NEMA 3R on 18 August 2020, received email confirmation the same day. After a few weeks and no part I called and the person I spoke with blamed Covid19 and I won't get the part for another couple of weeks. I called today, 16 September 2020 and after being on hold for 16 minutes waiting for CS to answer the girl transferred me to "an associate". When I inquired about the part with the part number this person says "it looks like it hasn't been processed yet" then transfers me to a sales associate Chris. He tells me it has been processed but he needs to check with the warehouse on where this order is and he'll call me back. Seriously? It's been a month and no one there knows what is happening with this part/order and their computer system can't track this part/order? And they have to manually call a warehouse to find it after a month? One associate tells me it hasn't been processed and another tells me he has to call a warehouse to see if it's there. I told him to just cancel the order and give me a full refund. Don't go find the part and rush it to get it in the mail to cover yourselves. Staff confirmed item was in stock and would only have a 24 hour turn around time. Thus, with this info we sold our customer. Couple hours later, get a automated email from Gordon Elec advising the part is not available. This left us in a very bad spot. Not sure if this company can be trusted. I ordered 4 new glass globes to replace my old ones. While the product shipped fairly reasonable time wise the packing was horrendous. Two of the globes arrived broken. The only cushioning in the box used to mail was a little bit of bubble rap - not even enough to secure the interior box the globes were in. My experience with this company has been disappointing. I received confirmation that my order will be shipped on 9/10/2020. I finally received my tracking notice from UPS on 9/30/2020. During the time I was waiting for my tracking information, I made several phone calls and sent an email inquiring about my order. I never received a response to my email and the last time I contacted customer service was on 9/18/2020 and spoke to a "Chris". He told me that he will check with shipping about my order and call me back. I never got a call back from him or anyone else. It has taken 5 weeks for my item to be shipped to me when it should have been shipped to me 2 weeks after my purchased date. If I had known that it was going to take this long I would have canceled my order and taken my business elsewhere since I needed this item during a certain time period. It is important for companies to be honest and more transparent with customers about their orders and shipping times. And I would have appreciated an update on my order when the shipping time was changed. read more
