I'm a pharmaceutical rep. My Office suggested individual orders from this restaurant. The day…read morePryor, I tried to place an online order for pick up at 11:15 AM. The earliest it would allow was 11:45 AM. At around 3 o'clock that afternoon, I called and explained That I needed to pick up the order by 1115 the next day and could I give the order verbally on the phone. The person that answered the phone said yes. I gave him our order which was five sandwiches and salads and told him I would see him tomorrow. His reaction was tomorrow? Yes, I need to pick it up at 11:15 AM tomorrow. I asked if that would be a problem and was told no. I decided to call in the morning to confirm that they had my order and that it would be ready at 11:15. They answered the phone at 11 o'clock and after a few minutes, the hostess said that yes they had the order. I told her I would see her soon. When I got there at 11:15, the order wasn't ready and she did not have anything in her computer so I had to verbally give her the order again so she could ring it up for me. The order was not ready until approximately 11:40 AM. This was 40 minutes after I called to verify that they had the order and then it would be ready and about 20 minutes after I needed it to be ready as my lunch appointment began at 11:30 and I had a 15 minute drive. When the hostess finally gave me our food, I asked if there were utensils inside to which she replied, yes. I got to the office and there were no utensils and my salad had no dressing. Eating lettuce, cucumbers and cabbage without dressing is not very appealing. I enjoyed the chili. It was flavorful and had a good temperature. I will need to eat my salad when I get home and could get some dressing. It looks like a fun restaurant for seafood and craft beers and the bar look like it would be a great place to sit on a Friday night, but I was disappointed in the service I received for the lunch order.

The setting is absolutely beautiful. Their outdoor terrace overlooks a scenic garden area that looks like it might even host weddings--it's that picturesque. The ambiance is peaceful, charming, and ideal for a relaxing weekend meal, whether you've just finished a bike ride or are simply looking for a quiet dining spot in Marietta. The menu had a lot of fresh, well-crafted options, and the cocktail list was fun and inventive. I tried the lavender lemon drop, and I was pleasantly surprised by how well the lavender complemented the classic citrusy flavor--an elegant twist on a traditional drink. For dinner, I went with the jalapeño cheddar burger, which was flavorful, juicy, and made with noticeably fresh ingredients. The fries were crisp and satisfying, while my mom and sister-in-law each opted for different sandwiches paired with house salads. They raved about the house-made vinaigrette, which had a fresh, tangy balance. We also started with the whipped feta dip and gouda mac and cheese--both were delicious. The feta was creamy and flavorful, and the mac had a rich, smoky bite to it. Our Entrees looked so delicious that I forgot to snap a photo beforehand. Service was excellent. Our waitress was knowledgeable about both the food and drink menus, and her suggestions were spot on. In terms of value, I was really impressed. With so many places these days serving tiny portions at high prices, Railroad House Inn stands out as a restaurant that delivers quality, fresh ingredients, and generous portions at a fair price. All in all, this was a five-star experience. Great food, beautiful location, warm service--I'd highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area, especially after enjoying the nearby Northwest Lancaster County River Trail.

Both were excellent and were not small portions. For our main we had the crab cakes and the ribeye. We are super particular on both and they hit a home run on both. The drinks were better than good as well. I love the black Manhattan and my wife had the blood orange margarita. Definitely try both. Service was top notch as well. Alec was our server and the manager Isaiah checked on us multiple times. Don't pass up a chance to stop in for a great dining experience and the ambiance was out of the world as well.

Would gladly come back. -Brussels sprouts: delicious. Roasted and topped with parm, bacon, and balsamic glaze. As with all Brussels some bits are charred and a little too toasty for me but really yummy. -Marry me chicken: it's rich- a lot of cheese and cream. Portion is huge. Tangy sundried tomatoes cut the richness and was actually tender. I enjoyed the better as leftovers and I don't know why. Mashed potatoes creamy, buttery delicious. I don't like spinach so I got it with a side of green beans. -Green beans: good but cooked and seasoned unevenly. I still liked it -Grilled mahi tacos: I enjoyed this the most. The taco shell isn't a taco shell, more like a flatbread or naan toasted. It has a variety of textures and flavors - pumpkin seeds, jalapeño slaw, avocado sauce, and pico. It's bright and punchy and delicious. Comes w fries -Sweet potato fries: so yum. Crispy outside fluffy inside Cheese pizza: a lot of cheese- a little too much for me. The restaurant itself is lake themed with beautiful wood paneling, floor to ceiling windows, centered around a cozy fire place. I made a comment that it'd be perfect for baby/ bridal showers and my friend said people actually have weddings here. The interior is matched by an even more beautiful view. They offer outdoor waterside seating on their deck. It looks to be screened in/ have windows so you're not exposed to the weather. Service was great/ attentive.

This is a fixed price, fixed menu, 5-course meal, with a surprise 6th appetizer, all with a "Fall" theme as we visited in September. This is a farm-to-table restaurant with many items coming from their garden. I wouldn't say the menu options were my favorite but the presentation was excellent. Everything was delicious, service was great and it was a beautiful evening with friends. We were there past 10 PM as the restaurant came to a close. I'm glad places like this exist outside of the typical urban setting - thank you!

There were so many wonderful flavors: rose sugar in the opening snack, smoked mussels and saffron foam in the soup, homemade ricotta in the carrot pasta, spruce sorbet palette cleanser,, an incredible steak, rhubarb ice cream. Wow! Super unique. Service was friendly and professional. The dining room is small and the ceiling is a bit low, so the noise level is pretty high when the room is full. We were across from a table of 6 and one gentleman did not know how to use an inside voice, so we had to lean in to talk over this loud talker. But that's not the restaurant's fault. I think the price is really a bargain for what you will experience. Bring a nice bottle of wine and enjoy! We're already looking for reservations later this summer! Fantastic!

I've passed Watershed Pub a million times and never stopped, so when I met a friend for lunch, it…read morefinally felt like the right time to check it out. Naturally, I had already done my due diligence (read: stalked the menu for a full week) and had a game plan. At the top of my list? The deviled eggs and the Kale Caesar salad with salmon. The only problem...I absolutely did not need $40 worth of food for lunch. So I quietly spent the week putting "deviled egg energy" out into the Universe, hoping my lunch partner would suggest splitting them. Manifestation is real, people. I arrived around 12pm and found plenty of parking out back in Watershed's designated lot, which is clearly labeled--a good thing, because parking in that area looks like it could get competitive if you're not paying attention. We had made a 12:15pm reservation (Monday lunch felt safe, but why risk it?), and our table on the enclosed patio was ready when we arrived. It was the perfect setup--sunny and bright, but still warm enough to be comfortable on a chilly day. The vibe was great, and our server was even better--friendly, attentive, and consistently checking in without being overbearing. Then it was time to order. I let my lunch partner go first and waited... "Do you want to try the deviled eggs as an appetizer?" Are you kidding me?!. YES. Yes, I did! We ordered the deviled eggs ($11) to share, and I followed through with my Kale Caesar salad ($15) topped with seared salmon (+$13), officially completing my week-long menu-stalking mission. The deviled eggs came out FAST, and in my excitement, I completely forgot to take a picture--which tells you everything you need to know. Each egg was topped with a cube of candied bacon that absolutely stole the show. Sweet, savory, and just the right texture to complement the creamy filling. We made quick work of all four--excellent start to the meal! Not long after, our lunches arrived, and my salad? Gorgeous. Like, actually exciting to look at. I dug in immediately and it delivered. The mix of shaved brussels sprouts, kale, and romaine gave it great texture, the dressing was well-balanced, and the red onion didn't overpower the rest of the flavors. But my favorite part? The garlic parmesan crouton crumble. No chasing rogue croutons around the plate--just perfectly distributed crunch in every bite. Genius! The portion size was generous, too--I made it through about half before calling it and boxing the rest for dinner later. By the time we were wrapping up, the enclosed patio had filled up significantly, which tells me this is a popular lunch spot--and for good reason. The food is solid, the atmosphere is great, and the service was spot on. That said...$40 for deviled eggs, a salad and water is a bit steep for an everyday lunch. For me, this feels more like a "treat yourself," client meeting, or special occasion kind of place rather than a regular rotation spot. Would I come back? Absolutely. Would I be casually popping in every week? Probably not. But those deviled eggs? Totally worth manifesting!
