I'm not sure what to say about Tulsa, OK. However, it is expensive here for no reason. Lol. No…read moreshade, it's a way of life which is different everywhere. Visiting Pinkitzel, I was so excited to see that they have cupcakes. I wanted a sweet treat that was just enough without overdoing it. When I walked into the very cute, we'll decorated and nicely organized shop, I was greeted by the cashier. As you walk in to your left is a cotton candy shelf, straight ahead is the cashier, macaroons, cupcakes, specialty chocolatea, ice cream and, to the right is all kind of bulk candy, modern and old fashioned candies. After walking around the shop that was nicely decorated, smelled good, and had a cute seating area in a bay window that looked out to the restaurants and other shops in the downtown Tulsa. I chose the cookies n'cream cupcake. So cute. The cupcake was moist and soft and had good flavor throughout the cupcake. The topping wasn't overbearing with being too much or too sweet. I've taken several photos of the shop and what it offers. After eating my cupcake, I went to look for goodies for my little one. When I went to pay, I was surprised to see how much I paid for two small items. To me, it was costly. Especially for one of them. I t was alright as they were gifts. I'd say when you come to Tulsa, plan out your budget. Overall, the shop was worth the visit for the experience and yummy treats. Happy Yelping!

The updated interior is very clean and inviting, with a mix of seating options depending on your mood. They offer a variety of drink options, including self serve stations and bar selections. The staff is friendly and genuinely enthusiastic about the menu, which always makes the experience better. Food comes out all at once, which I appreciate because you are not waiting between dishes. I ordered: * Lamb empanada with Chipotle mayo * House salad * Mixto with mahi mahi and shrimp * tres leche cake The lamb empanada was soft, juicy, and full of flavor. The house salad came with a lemon dressing that was fresh and bright. Adding the chipotle mayo as a dip for the empanada was a great choice and added another layer of flavor. The mixto was a standout. The mahi mahi and shrimp were both tender and sat in a flavorful curry sauce that paired perfectly with the rice. The plantain chips added a satisfying crunch, and the vegetable based dip that came with them was a great complement to the dish. For dessert, I tried the tres leches cake because the house made ice cream was not yet available. It was a nice, sweet finish to the meal. Overall, this is a spot I would return to. The food is flavorful, the space is well designed, and the service makes the experience feel welcoming from start to finish.

Stopped in between the Woody Guthrie and Bob Dylan center for lunch…read more Staff was very polite. We got the Beef and the Pork empanadas. The sauces were a nice complement and the scotch bonnet flavor stood out with out being too overwhelming. My only problem was the dough on my beef empanada was not crispy at all more like a tortilla. Than after tasting my empanada my wife wished she had gotten the beef as well. The wooden blocks the sauces came in were novel but we ended up removing them to access the sauces more easily and set the wooden blocks aside. The Yuca fries were pretty good as well but some of the fries were in very large pieces that would have cooked better if cut thinner and seemed a bit undercooked. Not the best Empanadas I have had but we did enjoy the meal and the overall flavors were yummy. Overall, 4 StarZ
