Unless they really look into the quality of the food, the lack of table service, and their terrible side dining area by their outdoor AC, I can say we have no plans on returning.

We found this place and decided to give it a try. It's located in the Date Palm Country Club community. Just along Date Palm before the bridge and before you reach downtown Cathedral City. It's maybe a 2 minute drive after you enter the gate. First off, it's part of the country club which we found out while we were there that it's a 55 and older community. Restaurant is next to the club house and pool area. There's a decent amount of parking along the side as well as main lot. We stopped by around 7pm for dinner. Didn't make reservations but walk in. There had to be something going on as when we walked in, the place was packed. We came in through the back area where the patio and bar was. Even the bar area was packed. At first we didn't know where to go until one of the patron mentioned to us that we may need to check in with the hostess at the front entrance. I love that everyone was so friendly. And let me say, it was lively and pretty packed. Both the restaurant side and bar were packed as there was a party happening at one of the table. We were seated at one of the tables in the main dining area but it was a little too loud for us which we were then guided to the bar area and seated at the counter.It was fine. These guest can party...lol... It does cater to the mature guest which they were the greatest. I feel like a lot of the patrons are residents but chatting with some of the others in the bar area, they do get a lot of locals stopping in for a meal and drinks. Flavor was fine but nothing major to rave about. Halfway through the meal, you could see how greasy the dish was. Given there's cheese but it was greasy. As there was a birthday happening, the host did bring out cake for everyone which was very sweet. The crowd was pretty lively and sweet. Everyone was so friendly enjoying their drinks and meals. It did look like it was the residents but we did noticed that a lot of the patrons at the bar counter were locals. For the price it's very good. That was what made the evening for me. The food was excellent, the cocktails were good enough to convince us into a few extra rounds, and the room has plenty of personality on its own. Paul's warmth and humor made the whole experience feel personal in a way you don't come across very often. My server, Carol R., was very attentive and kept checking on me throughout the meal. She even double-checked the name and receipt, which I appreciated because she was clearly paying attention to the details and making sure everything was correct. The atmosphere is really nice too.
