I've only had great experiences with Goodyear Auto Service in Kīhei, especially manager, Elsie. She and her team are friendly, responsive, and generous with their time. I don't know much about cars, so I especially appreciate how willing they are to help. Recently, I couldn't get air into one of my tires at a gas station because of an issue with the valve stem. I called Goodyear, and even though they were busy, Elsie told me to come by and said she'd fit me in. She found a way to fix the valve core and filled the tire, which was extremely low. It was a small thing to ask for, but it made a huge difference to me that day! I definitely recommend Goodyear Auto Service in Kīhei! read more

I have had a couple phenomenal experiences as a patron at this goodyear location. I would recommend it to anyone for new tires, maintenance, and outstanding customer service -in a heartbeat (which is as quickly as proper new tires were installed on my car)! ask for elsie. she is kind, considerate, friendly... and very importantly, when dealing with car troubles, professional and extremely knowledgeable. thank you, elsie! read more

Goodyear Auto Service - new tires, after a mudslide in kīhei, hawai'i. - Tires Near Me - Kihei, Hawaii

I know this review is long over due as I purchased tires from your store back in April 2026. Elsie went above and beyond. I called about 9 auto tire shops it was either they only had 3 or they didn't have them in stock, some just seem like they didn't need any business.. I wouldn't know how those companies are still exist at this time when everything is just so expensive.. Anyway I just wanted to give a shout out to Elsie for her great service, helping me to get all 4 tires on the same day... they had 3 in stock but got the other from the Kahului store. She is an asset to your company and she deserved to be recognized for her friendliness and willingness to help you out. I usually get tires from Costco but because of the great service I'll be back when my other cars need tires BIG MAHALO ELSIE read more

I had such a wonderful experience at Goodyear. thanks to Elsie! She truly went above and beyond to help me figure out exactly what I needed and walked me through the payment options so I could make it work. On top of that, when my daughter fell, Elsie didn't hesitate to step in and help -- even holding her and making sure she was okay. That meant so much to me as a mom. Her kindness, patience, and genuine care are the definition of true aloha. I'm so grateful for the service we received and highly recommend coming here! read more

My tire blew out and I had to have my car towed. I called Goodyear to ask if I could have it dropped there and have my tire replaced. I hesitated to use them, because I have had several bad experiences, but they were the only place I could think of under pressure. I had a great experience. They were kind, helpful, and fast. Whomever used to manage the place is no longer there; there's a new sheriff in town , and she's great! Everyone was helpful and professional. There was a pretty strong sales pitch, but that is to be expected, and they were respectful of my, "No." read more

I had been looking for a repair shop in Kihei where I could get both a tire replacement and a wheel alignment done at the same time, since my usual tire shop does not have the equipment for alignment services. After getting a flat tire over the weekend (on Sunday), I assumed Monday appointments would already be fully booked. However, I was able to easily schedule an appointment for Tuesday online, which was very convenient. The shop opens at 8:00 AM, but since I had to be at work, I arrived a bit earlier. They kindly accommodated me and accepted my car key before opening hours. I was assisted by the manager, Elsie, who was extremely kind and professional throughout the entire process. During the service, they noticed that my brake pads were worn down. She also remembered a casual comment I had made earlier about my daughter commuting through mountainous roads, and when I picked up the car, she immediately informed me that the condition could be dangerous. I truly felt that she and the team prioritize customer safety above all else, which reflects a high level of professionalism. Of course, I scheduled the brake pad replacement right away and had it completed just a couple of days later. I am very grateful for their excellent care and service from start to finish. read more

Elsie was super aloha, great staff! Malia very nice too, thank you so much many mahalos will be back again!

I've lived on Maui for 44 years and I don't normally take the time to write complimentary letters, but I felt compelled to write this one. I helped my mother-in-law with her car that has been sitting for a long time. Her husband recently passed away, and it had two flat tires. I normally use Costco or Walmart for tires because years ago I had such poor service at Goodyear in Kihei. I needed to get this done for my mother-in-law A.S.A.P. so I went to Goodyear. I quit using them about 5 years ago because they just didn't care about service. I was pleasantly surprised to meet Elsie Leilani Jim the new store manager (3 years) that helped me get my tires taken care of quickly and professionally. My mechanic told me to stay away from them a few months ago for an alignment, so I went elsewhere. I told him to start sending people there again. Elsie was very professional and caring for my concerns. Please use our local Kihei Good Year Store. read more

I had the bad luck of having tires go out on both my vehicles the same day; one blow-out, one a flat. Brought one car in on a donut first thing in the morning. Elsie was super accommodating and, after checking with the mechanic, were able to get me in for new tires. I pulled the tire off other vehicle later that day and brought it in. Having arrived 30 minutes before closing, I fully expected to have to leave it overnight. She again coordinated and I had a new tire a few minutes later. Although I had bad luck with my tires, I had great luck with Goodyear Kihei! While getting you in on short notice can't be expected, know that they will do what they can to take care of you. Both ladies in the office were very friendly and helpful. read more

Fantastic, prompt service! Super friendly. Surprised how inexpensive my tire repairs were

Just have to take this opportunity to super commend this shop. I was in a bit of a bind, and they went WAY above the call of duty to do everything they could to help me out. Such an abundance of 'aloha' that speaks volumes about their caring and integrity. No need to shop around...just feel very confident to work with them! read more

Timely service for new tires and friendly folks that care. It's the only place for me when it comes for tires.

cannot comment on service as they never gave me any. There's no place to park in their parking lot or on the street. You walk in and they just tell you to wait and they don't care. Employees are completely unhelpful and appear to want to be anywhere else but there read more

Made an appointment for the "Best oil change for 8am. They started work inside of 10 minutes and completed service in about 1.5 hrs. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Elsie the manager answered all my questions and I had a few! She even took the time to do what was needed for my $20.00 rebate. She didn't have to do that. Yes, Elsie and Bam Bam makes you feel right at home. I'll be back. 5 stars for this store. read more

Nice folks, in todays economy, they were actually honest and patched my tire for cheap instead of selling me a new one!

As many Maui residents know, Island Life can make finding a specific brand of tire to replace a single damaged tire a challenge. The staff at Kihei Goodyear: Elsie, Kobe, and Bam Bam came to my rescue when I was in a time pinch. Thank you to the crew who found me a new replacement tire at a reasonable "out the door" price and had me back on the road in no time. Mahalo, JAL read more

** update- the business responded with a AI generated canned response. How about taking your 2.8 star rating seriously, work on your customer service, and don't mess with potential clientele?? The worst. Got here when it opened to get the nail in my tire removed. There were 3 guys sitting in the four car garage with NO cars in any of those 4 garages. I walk in to see if they can take the 15 minutes it would take to fix my tire (I know cause I got it repaired in Kahului after dealing with this joke of a business) and was told that they would need to keep my car the entire day. The entire day for a 15 minute repair ?!?! I said I couldn't wait that long and then he comes back with 'how about 12-2? So you were going to keep my car for 8 hours and now you're saying a 2 hr window? No way- I had to leave the island the next day. As I said no thanks and walked away - the service men in the empty garages were still busy chatting it up and sitting around. Come on people..seriously, why don't people care about customer service out here? Have also talked to others who have been bamboozled by this business. Beware! read more

I recently stopped at Goodyear to inquire about getting a tire plugged. As I pulled into the parking lot, it was apparent that it was very slow time at the store. There were no cars in the bays. There were no cars waiting to be taken into a bay, and there was only one person in the office. There were three people working behind the counter. I stood for a moment and waited, while one of the employees helped the other customer, who apparently was having an issue with having been overcharged, and not given his discount. As that story unfolded, a female employee who appeared to be a manager, stepped in and said she would help with fixing his discount and told the other employee to come and wait on me. I explained to her what I wanted done, simply to have the tire looked at to see if it could be plugged and she said,"oh yes, we can get you in right now". I was elated. Then the manager spoke up and said," you can't give her an appointment right now she doesn't have an appointment . I have appointments at 1 o'clock this afternoon so shell have to come back." I looked at my watch and noted that it was already 1:30 in the afternoon. So I said,"it's already 1:30. How long do we need to wait to see if your 1 o'clock appointments show up? " At this point, the manager basically dismissed me told me they could not take care of me at this time, and that I could call later to see if they could fit me in. I was treated very rudely and disrespectfully by the person who I believe was if not the manager in charge at the time I visited Goodyear. I totally understand if they really could not fit me in at that time, and I needed to come back or make an appointment. However, to be treated so rudely and so disrespectfully completely turned me off from ever returning to Goodyear tires in Kihei again. read more

I have been here for many oil changes, always impeccable service and fair prices. Never any unnecessary up sell attempts, which is greatly appreciated. BUT TODAY, THEY OUT DID THEMSELVES!!
