About a month ago a I needed to replace one of my truck tires ASAP. I called around to a few places and most of them told me they didn't have it in stock. They needed to order it which could take up to 3 weeks! Island living at it's finest. I did call one shop that ended up having it but since I only needed 1 tire, the man who answered was super rude and unhelpful. I called Tires Warehouse and was greeted by a super sweet lady who was so awesome and helpful! Even if their price was about $40 more than the rude guy quoted me, I knew instantly that I'd be taking my truck here. They even said they'd have time to do it that day! From the moment I dropped my truck off to pick up, everyone was so friendly! I'd definitely go back and I'm so glad I gave my business to good people. Customer service really pays off! read more

Terrible customer service and negligence put our family in danger. Originally came in for a tire alignment. Was given a huge list of work that needed to be done first (after the car was already up..so even if we chose to get the work done somewhere else, we were already out the money for them to raise it up). We had thousands of dollars of work done for them to finally get the alignment done. Was also given a list of anything that had damage or wear and tear that they noticed. Not too much time later, we noticed the tire was tilting again. Thought maybe it was just our eyes and let it go. Then one day we were driving, the car was extremely wobbly and every time we would brake, the entire van would jump feet to the left. We pulled over and the tire was at a 45 degree angle. Thankfully we were stranded in Lahaina and within cell reception and not Hana etc or on a narrow winding cliff when the entire vehicle jumpled lanes. Once we were able to Jack the vehicle up, the entire wheel was hanging by a thread. One nut was completely missing and another was just hanging. We put a temporary nut to get it back to the shop. When we explained the situation the guy at the front desk asked, "you drove it here?" So what do you want from us then?" wow. Got to speak to someone else who consulted w/ the mechanics and confirmed they had worked on the parts that were now missing and that they would re do the work for free. Was told I could possibly be reimbursed for lost income that we had to refund bc of the car failure and never heard back After being told she'd get back to me. Came back two more times to see if the woman heard back from the general manager and talked with another woman who said she didn't think she even emailed him. Finally hung around the shop till I could catch the owner who basically said it had nothing to do with them and they only fixed it the second time "just to be nice". Nobody does anything for free, especially this shop who required thousands of $ of repairs just to get our alignment. Said it was a part failure (that had no wear or tear when they originally worked on it and put it back). It was obviously their fault which is why they fixed the work that failed. Felt like the whole story changed that day I spoke to the owner to deflect from having to reimburse us due to their negligence. On a separate note, the day we picked it up and were waiting on traffic to pull out, a worker of theirs yelled at my husband and burned rubber on one of their trucks in the parking lot to aggressively go around him. When my husband got out to see what the problem was, he ran inside the shop. Terrible customer service all around. read more

I had a nail in my tire and was getting a low pressure warning on my car. It was several days before Christmas and I knew places were pretty busy. I called Tire Warehouse and they said they were happy to squeeze me in. They were very pleasant and helpful and I sat outside while I waited. They also have some vending machines which made the wait more pleasant. I would gladly use them again. read more

Went there 10 mins after they opened to ask if I can buy 2 new tires. The employee that I talked to said " You can go to Discount tires. " They recommend me to another shop because they didn't want to do any work read more

The tire pressure gage came on our rented Jeep after visiting the volcano crater. We searched for an air pump station at every gas station from Lahaina to central Maui, all of them said "out of service". The team at the Tire Warehouse were awesome!!! Fast and friendly they had us on our way to Hana in minutes and free of charge!!! True heroes and life savers!!! They saved our vacation plans and we are grateful!! Thank you again!!! read more

I was recommended by a repair shop in pukalani to use tire warehouse on dairy road for my front end alignment after purchasing new tires at Costco. I had previously used a different shop for this same service years ago and the experience was night and day. Tire warehouse was ready for my appointment, had my car done 15 minutes early ( less than an hour) and charged exactly the listed price. I was provided a detailed chart of the adjustments done and no hard sell of other services. Fast, friendly and efficient. Thank you. read more

Very friendly, fast and helpful! Denise was an absolute great employee very professional we will definitely do business again. read more

It is really frustrating to get a safety check done there which should be so quick & easy. You have to have the exact current insurance card with you. Even if you can show online the updated insurance premium payment they won't accept it. I had my most recent insurance card which starts in 1 week & they wouldn't take it. I've been turned away 3 times for safety checks & im going somewhere else next time! Also due to COVID they have absolutely no waiting area. Not even chairs in the shade outside So you might have to wait in the hot sun for your car to be ready. read more

I am really confused. I was given an estimate for $911.66 for an alignment, complete with new bushings, ball joints, air inflation, test drive, computer print outs, and fluid checks! That is a lot more than the initial (roughly) $100 estimate for a straight forward alignment, after purchasing new tires per their requirement (from Costco because the costs were more appropriate, and TW were out of the basic tire model) The total costs for estimated labor were $426.21. Is medical or legal advice included? I may not know a lot about cars, but I know when something doesn't feel right. I initially chose Tire Warehouse because they are a local business, and as a born and raised local myself, these are the types of businesses I choose to support. I couldn't help but feel I was being 'assessed' from the minute I arrived there. Maybe because I am a woman. Maybe because I am a haole drinking Starbucks in booties, rather than slippers. Maybe it's my imagination. Within an hour of this shocking estimate, I was serviced in completion at GoodYear Auto, a complete rotation and alignment for the estimated $89. Upon inquiry about my bushings and ball joints, I was told that there was no problem with them whatsoever. So either GoodYear has really bad mechanics who don't know what they are talking about, or Tire Warehouse has a policy of adding outrageous surcharges to ignorant and unsuspecting LOCALS. Regardless of any assumption, my truck has never been in better shape. Thanks GOODYEAR! read more

If you need a tire repaired or replaced and can't wait all day or weeks for an appointment then Tire Warehouse is where you should go. I received great service here and my tire was repaired in 20 minutes. I didn't even have time to finish my free coffee. And the staff here are super nice and love a good chat with their customers. Seriously we'll run business and I highly recommend them! read more

I would recommend to any and everyone around. The woman up front with curly hair is absolutely amazing. She went above and beyond to take care of what we needed and make sure it was done right. The mechanics in the back did an upstanding job of checking over our own handiwork, getting the job done, and even fixed a problem with our linkage in our shifter at no cost. read more

I was using a friend's car in town when the tire service light went on. The Tire Warehouse took care of checking the tires quickly so I could safely get back on the road. They were friendly, quick, and professional! Highly recommend. read more

I stopped using these guys years ago because the counter guy was a disrespectful jerk who tried to overcharge my wife. Once he was gone I starting taking my service trucks there again without issues until it was time to take my company truck in for service. I had a 7 a.m. appt. and when I called at 2 they still hadn't gotten to it. I needed it so I went to get it (unserviced) and guess who was back behind the counter with his 'if you don't like it leave' attitude? Never again read more

Went there on Saturday morning for a tire repair the shop was already busy at 9:00am. Told me it would take hour before they got to the job, but before I knew the tire guy was jacking my car up and found and nail and fixed for $30.00 he also checked under my hood which was ok. Based on my visit I be happy to go back for service. read more

Awesome service, prompt and friendly! I went in to get some wheel locks cut and replaced, even showed up with the incorrect replacement. All work was done as promised, and the team went above and beyond when I returned with the correct set of locks and had them installed on the spot. As a side, I was having a weird scraping noise from the front passenger tire that has been gone since I drove out of there! Highly recommend! (also lots of places to eat nearby while you wait!) read more

Took the car here to get new tires and alignment, the mechanic checked the car over and made a few other recommendations, explained the reasoning but I passed on those. As far as I can tell the work done was good, moderately priced, although it took all day just to do a few minor repairs. read more

Tires Warehouse Hawaii - Tires Near Me - Kahului, Hawaii

BEWARE!!! Do not go here. The gentleman I encountered has ZERO customer service. Instead of being greeted with "hello", I was greeting with "get out of my bay." Let me remind you, there are no signs saying where to go and it's raining and that area has no person or car in it. Then he tells me he has the tire and it'll cost me $340 to replace the one tire. It's a VW, not a BMW. I said that seems a little steep and instead of explaining why it costs so much, he says, " good luck!" What a horrible way to treat customers. I am currently sitting in another shop and paying $211 for the same tire with installation. Be warned if you go here, you will he talked down to and you'll be over charged. Don't say I didn't warn you. read more

This is definitely the last time I even drive by this place. Grossly overpriced, and absolutely NO love. Gonna charge me almost $350 to mount my tires. Called another place and their doing it for $166.72. Even my oil change was $200. Yup, $200. Cuz it's a diesel, hahahaa. Could've gotten it done at Walmart for under $90 I was told. I've had a number of my vehicles serviced here and it's always the same. DO NOT GO HERE!!!!! read more

Great experience here. Got my tire repaired quickly and my tires rotated. Friendly staff, too. Nice waiting room with vending machines and a TV. Definitely will be coming back here if needed. read more

I ended up getting my lift installed from tire wearhouse on Kahului my l fiancée took it in while I was working off island in may after she picked up the truck she made me aware that it drove different I told her it was to be expected a few days later she said it would make a rattling noise and shake when she drove I was thinking it could have been my older tires which has about 20k miles on them she also brought it to my attention that tire pressure light came on after she drove it for the first day. So I told just pick me up when I fly in a few days I'll try and get it resolved. So I drove it the first i day I came in and the wobble would occurs around 40 mph I brought it back in because of the wobble and tire pressure light. They told me that when the tried balancing my tires they noticed flat spots and that could be the reason for the wobble. That very same day we decided to drive it home and look into purchasing new tires the following day. On our way home the truck wobble got considerably worse we heard a metallic clunk sound and the truck started wobbling pretty bad we where going around 50 mph I pulled over immediately because I didn't feel safe with my family in the car. There was some tall grass on the side so I pulled over as much as I safely could while doing so I heard a scrape I crawled under my truck to inspect what happened and noticed my rear drivers side shock to have been hanging not connected by its lower bolt the bolt was nowhere to be found. I called for assistance from my family and I told them to bring me some bolts about 3-4 inches I ended putting a bolt in to drive it home and the wobbling went away. It drove perfect after closer inspection I noticed I damaged my rims from pulling off the road. This occurred Saturday after store hours so I could not get ahold of anyone from tire wear house till Monday. Im currently waiting on what they say. I honestly think it was negligence and not tightening the shock bolts. If they handled them selfs better instead of playing the idk game I would have gladly gave them a better rating but because they put my family at risk and couldn't be straight up with me I have to give them a 1 star. read more

AWFUL SERVICE. They just want to take advantage and steal your money. Don't waste your time.

I was in Maui visiting my mother who was in a nursing home and got a flat tire. The manager Rob told me to wait and when it was my turn to speak with him he blurted out "hey foreigner next!". I think thats called racism. Today was your lucky day Rob, I was too exausted, so celebrate it every yr. Oh, and they forgot to put the spare back. read more

Bought a set of tires for a reasonable price. Three wore out way early. Service writer said if I buy one new one I would still have to purchase the extra road protection package because they would not rotate the tires (which was part of the original package) unless I did so. Was disgruntled, went to pay, the manager (former owner) heard me grousing to the sales clerk and said they would rotate all four tires. What is going on here. I felt worked over by this service writer, and now all the tires need replacing again and I am not going there, no matter what. read more
