This is another local gem if you're in the area. As people who follow my reviews know, I love love love going to consignment shops wherever we travel. To me, there's a venn diagram of price, quality, and style that's hard to hit. Name Droppers in Salt Lake City Utah is one that does, Clotheshorse Anonymous in Dallas Texas is another, and of course my forever favorite Main Street Rags in California. I have to be honest though - this location is up there and probably my favorite Goodwill I've been to in quite a while. The taste and quality of the items here have a classic vintage 80's edge to them, while still having the $10 a blazer price tag. I loved it and bought 5. This location also had a well organized rack of jeans that I made use of and the service was friendly and kind. Should we be in the area again, we will most definitely be dropping by! read more

I just had a horrible experience here. I am insulted and my time has been completely wasted. I was not only bullied but another customer, but the staff gave an item I had them holding for me to the other customer and chose to sell it to that customer instead of me because he intimidated them and spoke loud/agressive/was tall and had face tattoos. They put back items I had asked them to hold while I was shopping and then someone else grabbed them. They told me to look for the person who grabbed it, and when I found the person they still wanted to sell it to that person because he was immediately yelling that he was buying it point blank, whereas I was calm and asking nicely. Its so unfair that someone is is patient and calm is the one who loses in the end! The other guy went on an on about how he knew every worker in that goodwill (how does this make it right for him to take the bag that I picked out an hour earlier and had on hold?)....and in retrospectI realize that he probably has figured out (because he said he shops there a lot...and he obviously has his eye on nice things) that if he sees something on the counter that someone else already has on hold, all he has to do is ask for it to be put back on the shelf and he can bully his way into make it his. I ended up not buying anything because that bag was the first thing I picked out and the thing I wanted most, and the principle of how I was treated ruined the business for me. What was the point of asking me to find the person if you were going to make a scene of not selling it to me anyways?? The man insisting that he was buying the bag....thats not actually his call. That's your call. He can't sell it to himself. You could have just said, "well sir, I make the sale, and due to a mistake, the bag she was holding ended up on the shelf. we are sorry, but you cannot buy this bag," and I would have bought so many items. Now, I will never go back. After 25 years shopping at this goodwill and also donating, having been born and raised in healdsburg, I will NEVER go back. I will also tell every single person that shops at goodwill about this experience. This is such a failure on the part of customer service that this shop should not be running. Put someone in business that is actually loyal to a customer! I am not even so upset about the items I didn't get, but the hour of time I spent shopping there that was totally wasted. I will never get that back. Save yourself wasted life and never set foot in this place. What you think is a good deal....you never know what you are really about to get. read more

It's not a bad Goodwill but it's not great either. They have housewares displayed oddly - on top of clothing racks and scattered throughout the store. But it's clean and they have a good parking lot. No bathroom. read more

We go to Goodwills all over and this one seemed to be on par with others. Some of the prices are high but I have noticed most Goodwills raising their prices. It was clean and organized. read more

On Saturday, Sept 24,2022 I started Halloween costume shopping. Not much to choose from and dressing rooms are closed so you Won't be able to Tryon anything before you purchase. I inquired about a Halloween spider decor I noticed behind the counter and it was being held for manager. Need to buy $60 before they'll except $100 bill of US currency. it's 2024 summer, I have no idea why the fitting rooms are still it were ever closed. it's extremely uncomfortable trying garments on or over my body in front of people and families next to the jewelry. its unprofessional, demoralizing, and embarrassing. I purchased three dresses for $30 i couldn't even try on with no return or exchange policy. Will not be coming here again. read more

Such an awesome experience--firstly, they were open on a New Years Day evening: e went on and leisurely browsed. I scored a $4 huge metal Peace sign in multi colors and paisley .. I mean, who wouldn't go nuts for this? I had to have it to hang in my house, which already looks like a demented person lives there, lol. At the last minute sim walking out the door, I spy a Madewell madras checked shirt in such beautiful cotton fabric, in an unusual color combination of salmon and black. Very well made and a bargain at that. The woman behind the cash register was incredibly sweet warm friendly and genuinely happy to be there. A terrific store, well laid out, clean and most items clearly marked with prices. The aisles are not cluttered, they keep it vacuumed and it doesn't have the mildly musty odor often associated with thrift stores. I'd go back in a heartbeat. Btw, tons of free parking in the lot they share with Rit Aid next door and a bank across the way. read more

The customer services here is horrible, the lady on the cash register is very rude! She won't talk to you if you're Hispanic she won't give you the time of day! She's a horrible person! She stated she was the manager of the store so I guess Goodwill need to look into who they are hiring for upper management. read more

I'm not that impressed. I just came from the cloverdale and eureka locations, which had a much better experience, customer service wise. Both other stores I was greeted and had fun chatting with staff. This store was in disarray, and the girl at the counter seemed irritable. Nah, pass this. But if you decide to go- I missed it twice. Look for the RiteAid shopping center and it's across from the West America bank. read more

The manager here was very rude, came in tonight to do a donation, had googled goodwill donation locations and this location popped up with being open till 8pm.. get there @ 5:30 pm and no one was at the donation area and you could not read the hours on the sign outside the door. Went inside and the lady called the manager and she said he would do it for us. Went back outside and another car pulled up thinking that they were still open too. When the manager came out I was talking with that gentleman and the manager hear me say how I thought they were still open till 8pm and the manager started yelling at me that the internet say that donation are till 5pm, at that point I told him not to yell at me and walked away. The store gets two stars just because he still let my husband drop off our stuff. Glad I don't live in Healdsburg and will never have to go there again. read more

Yep, I try to get by this Goodwill whenever I'm in the area (my sis lives down there). They've usually got some pretty good CDs and tapes, and they even had a Segway in there once. Wow, how cool is that? Not quite as Yup-Scale at the Goodwill in Bend, Oregon, but people around Healdsburg do contribute some pretty decent stuff. Definately a relaxed atmosphere, and the staff is friendly. read more

Love the staff here always upbeat and friendly ! Sad that Rose has left I really enjoyed chatting with her . Look for color tag specials of the week they are 1/2 price and on Sunday 99 cents . They change the color on Monday . My deal of the week was a leather Lucky Brand hobo purse with floral embroidery for $4.99 it's just needs some cleaning with saddle soap . this place all depends on your luck. if you're lucky, you'll find something great. I found a beautiful red suede beautifully used jacket just for 10 dollars, but sadly it didn't fit. Also, a gorgeous thick, wool sweater for 6 bucks, Who could've guessed? Again, if it's your lucky day, head on down to Goodwill. it'll be fun to search around. read more

I just discovered Goodwill of Healdsburg just recently. This place is amazing! I now call it "the Ross Dress For Less" of Healdsburg. With Salvation Army closing in Lytton Springs, donations seem to be coming into the Healdsburg Goodwill. I go in at least three times a day.....Always, always putting newly donated items away. Don't want to miss anything. That is why I go in three times a day. One lady in a review stated tops are $6, they are $5, she also states tank tops are $6, no they are not, they are $2. And most importantly, Goodwill is a NOT for profit. I am grateful I found "the Ross of Healdsburg" :-) read more

Frankly my best purchases have come from this store. I love it but it's getting really disorganized. I think it's hard to find employees who can afford to live in Healdsburg. They might save some $$ by turning down the air conditioner that is on full blast even in the winter, freezing most of the customers, seems like a waste. Dressing rooms need a good cleaning, including the top framing that is covered with dust and grime. read more

Goodwill has raised their prices. For example, all tops are now $6. Who is going to pay $6 for a worn out tank top when you can get a new one at Target for the same price? These are donations people and Goodwill is over pricing the stuff like they're a consignment boutique. Discounts are minimal. This used to be a great thrift store but now the best stuff has been culled out by staff (presumably for resale on ebay, etc.) and all the junk, and I mean junk, iis on the racks which are pretty empty looking these days. You'll find a lot of very tired, ugly looking clothing which they couldn't even pay you to take home. This place is no longer worth the effort unless you want to overpay for garbage. read more
