This particular goodwill has an interesting new idea. They pre-damage the clothing. I was browsing the racks today, and noticed a lot of the clothing had what I thought were initials written on the logo. Then I found some new with tags that had the initials written in it. Then I started to wonder what was going on and asked the cashier. She says its part of an anti-theft policy? They write with marker in the logo to help them reduce theft? So cool. I would never have thought to write all over the product so I could detour thieves!

I've shopped at several Goodwills and this is another nice one. They did not have a cellphone battery I wanted though. However, I did buy a metal thermos for only $2.50 and a nice ceramic coffee cup for only .99 cents. So that's a bargain in my book. Yes...there's some homeless(mostly harmless and not necessarily drug fiends) people wandering in the lot but instead of whining about it try asking if you can buy one a cup of coffee or a blanket like I do(it's cold out there and homeless die in the cold every night...you could save an innocent life). Note: Blankets in Goodwill are less than $5. Put good Karma into the world and it comes back to you. Recommended store.

My personal blue mobility knee scooter that I paid $100 for new compared to the $79 "Goodwill" used medical equipment.

This is a higher end resale store - consignment - but not overpriced or designer. Its spacious,…read moreclean, and decorated nicely. Its not a huge selection but everything was organized by colors and size. I love when organization is by color-- so much easier look for the colors you like/want! Some of the sizes seemed off but hey, women's sizing on clothing is entirely random anyway. The dressing rooms are really nice, clean, and spacious. There was also some accessories and gift items. I didn't find anything today but maybe next time!

I have been coming to PLRG since 2017. There have been many times where I felt like their buying…read moredidn't make any sense. For example, I had brought in a beautiful Thierry Mugler blazer with hardly any wear. They denied taking it. I sold it independently and quickly for over 300. Now the latest thing they did, was sell a luxury item to a reseller that commented while they were closed. I then called several times in the morning, exactly when they opened, to be told the item just sold over Instagram. They never used to prioritize Instagram comments over buyers calling into the store. Several times in past years, people would comment on instagram first while they were CLOSED, and I would call in first thing to be sold the item. Then they want to claim this was never a thing lol trying to gaslight me when I had bought many items in the past by phone. To top it off, it was to a reseller lol. They dont care how loyal you've been to them. I've spent so much money over the years but this last incident was the final straw for me. There's better thrift stores around the valley, save yourself the trouble. They don't value long term customers. Edited to add: because of this recent issue that I brought up to them, they were so petty to block me on their Instagram. I never swore at them or anything lol. Avoid this business. Dawn is so incredibly unprofessional and petty to block a customer thats been shopping w them for 9 years. Not a good look at all. Edited yet again as a response to Cat: Cat, that number was not mine any longer as when I came in and was informed of the text received by my old number, I PROFUSELY apologized and updated my phone number with my NEW NUMBER. To be accused of something I never did and would never do only makes you continue to look bad. Why would I say whatever u accused me of saying for a pick up order? Please stop the wrongful accusations wow I am really shocked and disappointed by you. I do not cuss at people or say nasty things to them. It does not align with my character. I wish you well Cat, you seem to need the help for your own personal biases or issues you have towards me.

What an experience! Visiting various thrift shops calms me. I love treasure hunting. I live out…read moreof town now where there are not many thrift stores. I was asked to house sit in Phx. Store #119 3202 E Greenway Rd Phx Az 85032 was my first stop. First I had to walk around a homeless person in order to get through the doors. Upon entering I asked employee if anyone called for man passed out front. I guess a norm there? There were several items being sold used $3.00 when one can buy at Dollar Tree $1.25?? Lastly, checkout. Line (only 1) was down an isle. I waited nicely. An older Asian woman came out to open register; good call. I switched lines. Employee Lady waited on lady with a few tables. She then waited on a guy who came from who knows where. She then closed her register and then helped woman with tables load to car three customers who were behind me had paid for their items and left. So I go back to original line and the younger Caucasian starts to defend Older Asian woman. I visited several other Goodwill, the pricing was about the same. I was very discouraged.

We mainly focused on men's clothing, including suits, shirts, ties, and belts, and this was a great location for those items. They have the full array of both men's and women's clothing, housewares, sporting goods, kitchen wars, etc.. But I was mostly impressed by the quality and the organization of the clothing. This is definitely a location I would check out again. Service was really strong and the prices were even better especially 50% off! I ended up taking home a couple of really nice suits for less than $10 each, and we're talking name brands including a Jos Bank suit, a Hugo Boss suit and an indigo suit.
