I cleaned out my closet and had a few bags of items to donate, so I stopped by this Goodwill on a Saturday afternoon... the place was hopping! The process of dropping off items to donate was super easy and the two men working there were super helpful and friendly. I didn't go inside to explore the shopping experience so I cannot speak to the selection or value, but I totally would return to do so - this location seems to be a popular destination for sure! read more

When you need to find unique items, the Goodwill is an amazing place to go treasure hunting. Through the years, I have found some amazing items at the Goodwill all across the country and it won't break your piggy bank. My parents taught me to be frugal and to always save and in my culture, it's actually like a game on who can save the most. When I was little, my mom would come home asking me to guess, "How much you think I paid for this?" She also loves the TV game show, Price is Right haha. Even to this day, my mom will always ask me how much something is and she taught me the value of money and I appreciate her for that. And TBH, why be swindled in paying more when you don't have to? Anyhow, I was trying to find a costume piece here when I was last here but had no luck, bummer. But, one can always find things at the Goodwill that you never knew you needed lol. This store was organized when I came in the morning (it could be debauchery by the afternoon though) and had a bunch of holiday items here, so if you need an ugly sweater, the Goodwill is a good bet you will find one! I'm a bookworm and of course, dashed over to the book section and wow they have a nice collection of travel books and its even organized together. Wow, I was impressed! I'll definitely be back here again when I need some creative inspiration or looking for some unique items! read more

I love thrifting and always try to visit Goodwills wherever I travel. I stopped in this goodwill an hour before closing and fell in love. This location was huge, had good deals, food pricing, and a huuuge book section! The book section had a great selection of books at a great price! I took home way more than I should have lol Everyone was so friendly, nice, and helpful. The parking lot was also a good size. I will be back whenever I am in Scottsdale! read more

Long time now ex-customer at the GW on Scottsdale Road next to Salad N Go. Literally the worst shopping experience of my life. I don't recommend going there in the morning if at all, the employees are absolutely horrendous. Very creepy employee just followed me around the store, when I made my discomfort known they proceeded to go hover over my husband who was sitting on one of the couches. When he asked why they were literally peering over his shoulder the employee said that if he didn't want to have unwanted attention he shouldn't be picking up clothes and putting them back again, otherwise known as shopping. I have never been so creeped out or offended in a store before. I called the manager to complain and they clearly couldn't care less and wouldn't provide their name. Also sent an email to the regional office. even if they'd have had any concerns about what occurre, which they didn't, or they got rid of the two creepy staff,I can't imagine ever feeling comfortable shopping in that location again, which is sad because I have shopped there since it opened. never again. read more

The service is stellar!!!! Everyone who helped me was amazing... but this is the most expensive Goodwill I've ever shopped. I was able to find a simple egg pan and rice pot and after student discount it was totally reasonable-- but this is the place where they price Walmart brands at a few pennies off of original retail. If money is no object and you are seeking some broken in Faded Glory denim shorts at financial abuse level pricing? You found it... your fantasy land. Even so, the store was packed. The shoppers were civil to one another and definitely bargain hunting. Since this isn't my stomping ground, I don't mind letting you know that the pricing on obscure high end labels trends low. Like a torn up CK flip flop might be $35 but lesser known brands that are worth more might be $4.99 for what could become a signature piece in your wardrobe. One color every week is half off. Don't forget to find your 25% off -- seniors get Tuesday, students and first responders at least Sundays... I'm not sure about the rest? read more

Stopped here on a whim and I had about an hour to kill. It was Saturday evening so it was pretty busy. I was happy to see that they already had Halloween décor for sale, but I was surprised when I saw the prices. Everything was expensive. Even items that were chipped, scratched, and or dented were expensive. I picked out a few pumpkins that I thought were cute. I gave them a quick look and sadly they were damaged :( and these were still being priced at $7... Checked out the women's clothing and nothing caught my eye. Stopped by the men's t-shirts and I found one Nike shirt for $14 that I bought. My sister found some cute Urban Outfitters pants for $18. We also found some cute Thanksgiving décor that we ended up buying. My total came out to be about $36 for three items. My sister spent about $30. The cashier was friendly. Prices are high so it didn't feel like we saved any money. Double check items before buying for damages. read more

They have an amazing clothes selection here. Everything is clean and well organized. Very friendly, welcoming employees. I was getting a flat tire replaced at discount tires, one store down, and this was the perfect place to spend a few hours. I got several dresses, Calvin Klein dress pants and jeans here for a great price. The only problem is they don't have dressing rooms. There are two mirrors by the books you can use. You can try on at home and return with tag for store credit if they don't fit. read more

This was seriously the worst Goodwill location I've ever been to! The parking lot was littered with trash and pieces of plastic and glass from cars being smashed into. Walk in and everything was extremely dirty. It smelled really gross inside and most of the product was covered in filth. The price tags that I could see from the shelves were very overpriced. Asking $20 for an old Santa Claus doll??? Good grief, no! Will never return. read more

Rude staff. My mother and I did not find anything we wished to buy today, but stood in line at register #1 at about 2:45 or so today to purchase bottles of water. There was one woman checking out in front of us , or something like that. The cashier had his personal phone out and was keying something into the payment pad where the customer pays with debit or credit. I don't know what he was doing, but it looked fishy to me. He saw me watching and directed us over to register 3. I thought that was very rude. I don't live here, so will never come back to this store again. I doubt that my mother will either. If you are management reading this, please do something about your rude staff! read more

This Goodwill has had its ups and downs, but when I'm talking about this location, I consider this 'my Goodwill'. The staff is friendly, they keep the store clean, and there is always a great variety of cool stuff to look through. It can be a little busy at times, but it's spread out enough that it doesn't seem suffocating. read more

A lot of really nice items. Being in Scottsdale, the prices were a bit high for a good will, but the clothes were in great shape, and it reminded me of a TJ MaxX. I found 2 beautiful bar stools for 10 bucks each! One of the workers helped me take them apart to fit in my car. Great experience 10/10 recommended. read more
