Ive been coming to this goodwill store lately and they havent been doing their rotations. I am very disappointed in the employees when they should be doing the rotations every hour. Every rotation they do is extremely small and very little selection. Better organization and communication would make a huge difference. read more

I am an avid shopper at this goodwill outlet store. I came to the store thinking that I could get a rotation in and I asked the lady at the front how often they do them and she said every hour. However it took them 3 hours to do a rotation for 4 bins, when i was told it should be about 16 bins every hour or a minimum of 10. I am very disappointed that I had to wait that long to just get one rotation that wasn't even good. read more

Lucky findings... I just happen to come across this space which is the Goodwill Outlet Store, I had no idea it existed and what a search for the find. Everything was in this huge blue bins and I was very overwhelmed searching through them and took a breather to see there was another room that had the same blue bins but was filled with some household and other non clothing items that didn't seem popular with many of the people there. Prices are by items and what's great place though you do need patience to do the search but in the end is a great find and thank you Goodwill and the staff for keeping it all going. I've always loved thrift stores such as goodwill, savers, Salvation Army. This place is awesome because it's the bins! Instead of paying pricing for each additional item you pay per lb. They have a scale at the counter that you will get the final weight and amount. It's fun getting to dig through and see what you can find. This weekend I got a new hiking backpack, a shark blow drying brush, a new vans flannel, a tshirt, cardigan, and two sweaters for $14.00. When they switch out bins please be sure to stay out of the way and go outside or to the other room. They ask that you don't go in and out, only as needed. They accept credit/debit, easy parking. Make sure you bring a bag, hand sanitizer, and gloves and have fun. :) read more

I come very often towards the end of the day and I always have a great time thrifting for new things but I'm very disappointed because whenever I go to check out around towards the end of the day, I always see these two Asian boys who steal almost everything of witch they find! They literally pay for like 3 things and just walk out the door with the rest of their pile that they put on the floor! This behavior is very unacceptable and as a store owner Myslef this cannot be tolerated. I hope I never see this again because I will be watching from now on and or making more complaints. read more

For an outlet store, when visiting I was hoping that this Goodwill location would be more like the other stores where it is organized, cleaner and well-kept. But instead I saw large blue tubs of clothes and other merchandise that were not well organized and it does take patience to find what you are looking for. Lots of quality items, but you have to scavenger hunt. Sad to know most of it goes to landfill. Pair of shoes is not by weight, good or bad condition cost $8.99. A purse good or bad condition big or small $ 4.99 $2.69 a pound for textiles (clothing) $. 99 a pound for all wares $4.99 a book i was disappointed about that it was a hardcover cookbook. I'm sharing this because I have not seen a clear available price list when I visit. I would buy more if shoes, purses were by weight. And book .99 cents each. Hundreds of good books are going to the trash. Because I can't imagine paying 20 bucks for four used books. This is my own opinion of my experience. Have a great day saving the planet. read more

Never been to the Beretania outlet store since it was out of the way, but since my friend and I are now on a budget, and they moved near the airport, it is much more convenient for me to go. I never really went thrift shopping, but this is a total different experience than going to regular thrift stores. They rotate bins every hour or so with new stuff, so vintage sellers stay all day to scoop up finds that they can resell. I just go just to see if there is anything to get for myself since some clothes are designer or new and some good electronic finds, but one needs to find time to scavenge through the pile of clothes and things there. It's somewhat clean, but when I went yesterday, my legs felt itchy from the dusty floor. Of course, I soak and wash any clothes I find. Each clothing is only $1.50 each, or 12 for $15.99, way cheaper than regular thrift stores. The more items per category you buy, the more discounted the items are. I noticed that the buyers there are very militant: no taking pictures of videos (I didn't see the sign but the customers told me no pictures of videos as posted on the wall when they saw me taking a pix with my phone of the bins of clothes in there), and don't dare touch or look at any piles or mounds of items or clothes on the floor or in a cart that is next to the walls because there is an unspoken policy in this community that it is someone's and nobody will touch what someone else is holding for themselves. Kinda a nice unspoken policy in there, not like Walmart on black friday where they try to steal what's in your cart. Sure enough, my friend got an empty cart, and we placed it with things we found near the wall while we looked through the bins on the other side of the room to return finding nothing taken from it. Lots of parking, but they fill up, but there are street parking right outside their parking lot as well. read more

I visit this place on a regular basis. Table rotations have been lacking and pretty inconsistent. It rarely runs smoothly, some days there's only two to three rotations for the entire day; comparing this to the mainland where they do about a dozen a day or at least one every hour. Honestly it feels a bit unorganized and I hope to see more consistency in the future. read more

Probably one of the most SELFISH things Goodwill has done is raise their prices on merchandise by implementing a per pound price list. The items sold here are DONATED to Goodwill. From what I understand, the OUTLET is the last chance for the merchandise to sell before it goes to the DUMP! How awful to think that raising prices on used goods will cause less purchases at the Outlet. Less purchases will lead to Goodwill paying for more loads to dump at the landfill. Nobody wins. Deals upon deals since it's an outlet. Someone's junk is another's treasure -right! All donated stuff thrown in large bins so nothing is organized. So be aware you are digging and looking for matching pairs of shoes if it's not next to it. Needed to get a pair of tennis shoes since was hiking koko head the next day & didn't want to spend $1 on a pair that I didn't need. (Packed light since was stand by passenger on flight ) Anyways who cares About my issue - lol. Daughter and I found a ton of goodies. Paid $40. $4 for shoes. &1.50 for house wares. $3 miscellaneous items. Clothes $1.50 each. Resellers paradise if you know what to look for. read more

This store is supposed to be an outlet store but it has retail prices. Catering to the people that are not from here because they say in the mainland they sell by the pound but over here weighing by the pound it's super pricey. Hopefully management will realize that people are not taking the heavy stuff like jeans and jackets because it weighs a lot. Having the store itself to pay per pound extra to dump all the put backs . I will still shop there but won't get as much as I usually get. Note that everything that is in that store is all donated so it's not like they pay for the inventory. read more

Visited this location twice. Experience was a tad different from mainland locations. Nothing priced by the pound, rather by the item. Employees were friendly and helpful. Found some nice stuff. Located in a pretty sketchy neighborhood but was not bothered by anyone while I walked in. Kinda far from the bus stop. I'd probably go again. read more

I like thrifting. I have everything I need because I'm retired (old) but I am picky n found amazing treasures. It's fun to find (real example) a $3000 antique side board cabinet for $600. I've found an authentic, with tags, LV and thrifting in Hawaii is not like thrifting anywhere else. You have to go often n expect most days you will leave empty handed. read more

Yay! Finally made my way here after they moved from their Beretania location. Super easy to find with gps. I think it's new location might be a little inconvenient for people to get to compared to before but it made the experience much less crazy and hectic which I liked. Plus I was worried about parking but there are plenty of stalls to pick from. However they did fill up kinda quick so you'd have to find street parking which may be a walk since it's in an industrial area. Make sure you keep to the clearly marked yellow customer stalls. The area is clean and when you first walk in it's home and hard goods and off to the right to a back area is clothes and linen. I also prefer this new location more because the back area has a nice light flow of ac to keep the air circulating and not sweating as there are no open windows or doors aside from the front area. Scored some great local finds and some even new with tags! All the workers were really nice and super helpful. If you get a chance, stop in and check it out! You never know what you might find! read more

Waste of time,they don't put out any clothing bins on the main floor and you have to wait with at least 20+ people for them to bring out one bin,also in a sketchy industrial park area with homeless encampments very close by so avoid if you're going on foot to get there read more

i went with my mom and she found a few cute items and my sister got really beautiful lights, exiting! a good amount of people were there and when the sencond room opened their was already a line of peopel waiting, as soon as the doors open everyone rannnn. Intense. Serious thrifters will definitely enjoy, i recommend going if you have plenty of time to spare and sort. There can be some hidden gems here. It's kinda dirty and there is a herd of resellers that basically run the place. They're pretty territorial and intimidating. Wish it was just a place to shop for the average thrifter. Probably won't go back. Prices are good though if you can brave the crowd. read more

It's always crowded, and good luck with parking. The parking lot is always full, and it seems like people are there all day long. They should have a limit to how long someone can park there. They should use rubber bands or tie shoes together, as they all get tossed around, and are usually unpaired. Clothes are always picked through by the resellers as soon as any new bins come out. There's a big possibility you can find some good clothes l, but just be willing to spend lots of time to rummage. Shoppers are really crazy here. Get ready to have someone breathe down your neck or stand so close to you, they're touching you, or you can feel their breath. Bring shopping bags, hand sanitizer, face mask, and gloves. Good luck finding a cart. It might not be a bad idea to bring your own folding wagon, especially if you're going to buy any sort of furniture or bulky items. This would be a good place for someone that doesn't have a big budget, or wants to spend much money on household items; esp for a new apartment or dorm. Small appliances, dishes, curtains, pots and pans, and silverware are pretty cheap here. It may not be a complete set, but dishes and kitchenware is so cheap here. read more
