The entrance is behind the store and not off Farrington Highway. They have a small private parking lot. The store is small, clean, neat and well organized. The volunteer clerk was very friendly and patient, as my granddaughter ran around grabbing things off shelves. There is a small room filled with interesting collectible objects. I saw a couple pieces of Pyrex that were too big to carry home. Prices are reasonable. The larger room, holds clothes, household goods, art and books. We found some exceptional kid's books by Hawaiian authors, which we did purchased. Worth a visit, if you like thrifting.

The volunteers are sweet and helpful, looking for ways to properly pack your items or give you reinforcement for your treasures! The handbag section has some great vintage, designer items, and they have a couple of lovely jewelry cases. I have found some great deals - classic aloha shirts, office supplies (why pay retail?), and beautiful pottery. There is even a section of succulents near the front counter potted by someone from the congregation. The shop is open on Thursdays and Saturdays. And although parking is plentiful, start your turn signal early as it is a quick turn into the driveway from the busy Kalanianaole Highway!

I've walked pass this store several times over the years at Ala Moana and never knew what it was. They do have some really nice high end items that are being sold on eBay. Got to Ala Moana Tuesday morning at 10 am when they opened up. My family and I were buzzed into the store. I said I wanted to sell items to them. We were told only bags, purses, muumuus, aloha shirt ok, but no shoes or toys. The three items I could sell to them was a new with tags Michael kors purse I bought in 2020 that I never used. People online were selling the same purse at $255, a 2013 San Diego comic con original Batman cast swag bag and a new and unused Victoria secret marketing bag. The very sweet clerk put the items into a bin, gave me number and said it would take 30-mins to review the items. We took a few minutes to browse the store and they do have some really nice items. Really good place to come to if you were eying a specific LV purse a few years ago that sold out before you could get to it. It might be here for a few $100 less. Im told that LVs in good condition tend to keep their value. I didn't have breakfast so we headed to the food court. While eating, got a phone call that they were done with evaluating the items. I kind of knew what I was going to be offered for my MK purse and I got a bit more than I expected. For the other two items, I'm surprised I got an offer but they were in really good condition. All in all, I made $51. This was a great learning experience and we will definitely be back to both sell and shop. Next, looking forward to trying a consignment closet.

I never ever considered shopping at a second hand store let alone to sell my items that I no longer need/use that I usually do donate rather than to just toss it away is always a great solution not just to make some extra money but just knowing that it's not the end of the road for many loved items. If Eco-Town Select which is located ocean side in Ala Moana Center is located on the street level which is one level below the mall level sounds familiar they do have Eco Town in Iwilei which does buy more standard item while this Ala Moana location is much more selected. It's understandable and quite refreshing to see their inventory of upscale and brand name items along with more popular trend items as well. While I was browsing around I was more interested in some of their jewelry more costume ones that were holiday themed that I do have an idea for its use is cool to see along with vintage Japan Airline bags, various brand Aloha Shirts, totes, shoes and even Disney ears which I have a similar one that lights up. The staff there is friendly as they greet each guests that walks in the door and even made sure that they're always open to purchase our items. Small business like this that gives items life is great as the price isn't only that's nice but the selection of item that's selected as well. Thank you!

I've been a Vintage Mu'u collector for 10-15+ years and I was super excited to see their selection of Vintage Mu'u! I took a Lyft to get to South Street from Ala Moana and I was dropped off across the street so I was a bit disoriented at first lol. I had to make sure I was walking in the right direction since there wasn't a big flashy sign. I love the humble lit up sign that said "Alterations" in the window and once I saw a mannequin in window dressed with beautiful Vintage Mu'u, I knew I hit the vintage jackpot lol! It was an adorable store with vintage Knick knacks, accessories, jewelry in glass cases, an alteration station with fabric as you walk through the door, then another section filled with racks of Vintage Mu'u of every size, along with Tops, Palaka Shorts and I also noticed some Outerwear too. I was so excited that I hit the ground running and checked out every rack with my size and collected a good 8-10 or so Mu'u to try on. (I mean I am from Maui so I can't frequent this place much lol!) There were 2 humble dressing rooms with a small basket in the corner for your shoes and belongings. I loved the selection and most of all: the prices. They had vintage 80's-90's to maybe 60's-70's. I did see some rare vintage priced at $150-200+ but for the most part, reasonably priced for carefully curated vintage. I found 3 Mu'u at the end of my Vintage Haul. I scored a Black and Red Manuheali'i Dress (which aunty said everyone adored when it came in so that was definitely a score!) for $110 and 2 other Mu'u's, one was a Made in Hawaii with front bib detail in a cream color for maybe $40 and another Blue Andrade Mu'u for $45. This was definitely worth coming down from Maui. I will definitely be back on my next Oahu trip! The Aunty Owner and her daughter were the sweetest!

The shop is on the first floor and it appears they moved into a bigger area adjacent to the old (making it a much bigger space. Once you enter you are greeting by the nicest lady (owner). I told her that I was new to her shop and was looking for a mu'umu'u for an upcoming event. She made several suggestions (all so very good)! I was happy since I was clueless other than knowing that I wanted a vintage piece and perhaps a "newer" version as well. I came away with a beautiful Bette in a pink floral as well as another in red and yellow print. I was very pleased with my purchases as well as the help and hospitality from DeStash.

Stepping inside, there was so much to see and so much I wanted to buy. It immediately gave me bubble guts. My senses were overloaded in the best way possible. The building itself is a two-bedroom classic cottage, converted into a store, giving you multiple rooms to explore. It's clean, easy to move around, well organized and perfectly curated. I would pick up one must-have item only to have something else catch my eye. Best of all, the prices here are more than reasonable. And the cherry on top is friendly service. I can't wait to go back!
