From Mondays to Saturdays, thrift store hours are from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm. After store hours, people can drop off merchandise to MCC's office. The last time that I came here was last year to donate clothing that doesn't fit. Today, I brought my clothing and other stuffs because I have to follow Marie Kondo way of decluttering my room. It looks like a small shop but they have unique items for a one stop shop of merchandise for bargain hunters. One of my friend John found 4 Tupperware cups with covers so cool. He likes to find unique merchandise. In back area of store, there were some new items such Red Heart yarn with Woolworths price sticker and homemade crafts that are made by people. I definitely will come back again to see I can find unique items. Parking on right of thrift shop and back lot in front of MCC building.

Cute, and handmade blanket for $10 plus tax!

I've been needing a picnic blanket for the summer, and a walk away from where I live, this was the perfect place to try and search for it at! Located in the heart of Honolulu, Mo'ili'ili is a stop you should look at if ever in that area. This establishment is open on M-Sat from 10a-3p. Only three people are allowed but, you can only spend 30 minutes in there. Covid protocols in act which is great, it protects both workers and customers. Temperature is taken as you walk in as well. It's a fairly small place but organized (organized.. in a.. thrift store way x) so you might be able to find what you're looking for in the designated area. Sewing in the back, ladies and men's clothes across from one another, kitchenware in the middle, etc. there are items that seemed expensive for a thrift store (clothing items I've looked at, certain tote bags, etc.) but the more smaller items such as their variety of blankets, cutlery and books, are of course, at thrift store prices. I was helped by a sweet lady, as she mentioned that the blanket I bought was something she wanted to get herself, I apologized, but she responded kindly, "no no don't worry, you guys come first." So, that's my customer service experience. I recommend that those looking for general items, or perhaps a vintage piece you don't mind spending a bit on (I know for sure Depop sells vintage type clothing at similar price points so this didnt phase me) , to come and check this place out. It's next to Down to Earth so, maybe if you're shopping there go ahead and take a look. The most you'll wait is 30 minutes as we all have that amount for shopping.

I really disliked it when my friend said, "I lost so much weight that I need new clothes!" ARG! I just needed some space and drove her to this Thrift Shop at her request. This small store is full of valuable treasures! There seems to be a pretty good selection of Japanese collectibles, especially dishes and figurines. My friend likes the clothing here. She found a suit and some sweaters for her mainland job, along with some Aloha shirts for her husband and sons. In the past, my cousin had found a hapi coat for herself! I just browse through the housewares, craft items, jewelry, live plants, and books. Everything is sorted well and displayed appropriately. Service by volunteers is pleasant and friendly. Parking is free in the adjacent lot. I like to patronize this shop because my organization used to use the classrooms (in the next building) for meetings!

My haul, stoked $18 for 5 bags and two vintage Japanese beer cans haha

#ilovethrifting #thrillofthehunt #whatafind…read more That's what comes to mind after my first experience at Odds & Ends! I found it on Yelp, and added it to my list while running errands. Unfortunately, I found the store closed at 1pm which gave me about 20 minutes to find the store, park, and shop. Based on reviewers feedback, parking was great (once you pull into the right driveway). Following the sign on the door, I knocked, and was greeted by a sweet volunteer who had me sign in, then gave me the '411' on the shop. The section by the door was full of sale items (3/$2), while the rest of the items in the store were priced as marked. Now I had 15 minutes! What wonderful stuff - home decor, household items, and a small shoe and clothing section. I found a brand new Harrod's backpack for $17 (on Mercari for $80); the volunteers were both excited and impressed that I found something great in the short time in the store. Put this shop on your list - clean, nice stuff, good prices, sweet volunteers, and a great cause!

It's National Secondhand Sunday…read more.. I never ever considered shopping at a second hand store let alone to sell my items that I no longer need/use that I usually do donate rather than to just toss it away is always a great solution not just to make some extra money but just knowing that it's not the end of the road for many loved items. If Eco-Town Select which is located ocean side in Ala Moana Center is located on the street level which is one level below the mall level sounds familiar they do have Eco Town in Iwilei which does buy more standard item while this Ala Moana location is much more selected. It's understandable and quite refreshing to see their inventory of upscale and brand name items along with more popular trend items as well. While I was browsing around I was more interested in some of their jewelry more costume ones that were holiday themed that I do have an idea for its use is cool to see along with vintage Japan Airline bags, various brand Aloha Shirts, totes, shoes and even Disney ears which I have a similar one that lights up. The staff there is friendly as they greet each guests that walks in the door and even made sure that they're always open to purchase our items. Small business like this that gives items life is great as the price isn't only that's nice but the selection of item that's selected as well. Thank you!
