This was my first visit to Treasure Hound and was delighted to be warmly greeted by a friendly, nice lady behind the counter, Nancy. I also very much enjoyed chatting with Nancy while I browse the jewelry display cases in front. Nancy is an amazing woman to talk to and her life story is truly inspiring! Thanks, Nancy, for sharing and trusting me with your wonderful life story! The store is very clean and nicely organized with sufficient effort put into sorting, displaying, and pricing donated items. You can find used but good condition brand name bags, shoes, clothes, accessories, dinner wares, decor, etc at reasonable prices. I purchased 2 cute earrings at a bargain! If you are into thrifting and/or on a hunt for vintage treasures like me, check out Treasure Hound. And strike a conversation with Nancy if she is around. IMO, she is a treasure on her own!

The store itself is very unorganized, and the online inventory doesn't seem to accurately reflect what is actually available in the store, which makes it frustrating if you're coming in looking for something specific. The checkout experience was especially frustrating. The clerk took an unusually long time to complete a simple transaction, and it became pretty apparent that he was distracted or doing something else. After standing there waiting, I finally asked if everything was okay, and coincidentally my transaction was completed almost immediately afterward. I understand that stores get busy and employees have other things to handle, but basic communication and attentiveness go a long way. This could be a great place for people who enjoy browsing and collecting games, but unfortunately the poor customer service, disorganization, and inaccurate online inventory make it hard to recommend.

They have a huge shoe/ jewelry/ bag/ accessories section right when you walk in that is amazing! It's really well organized and the largest accessories section I've seen at a Unique Thrift. They have tons and tons of clothing racks! I found some real gems in including a 100% linen shirt and three pairs of shorts. Each item is priced differently and the items are sorted by category and size. These thrift stores give you a 20% off coupon if you donate something. They also have 25% discount days on Mondays and Thursdays, so those days are pretty busy.

I am so disappointed with shopping at Unique. The prices at this thrift store have become…read moreastronomical. Art is priced as if you are shopping at an upscale gallery. They have mediocre art priced as high as $89.99. They treat the art like it is junk; it is crammed on the shelves and it is stacked haphazardly on the floor. The bric-a-brac is not much better. While they offer a diverse array of tchotchkes they too are exorbitantly overpriced and they are crammed together on the shelves, and have a junky appearance. I commiserated with a customer who wanted to buy a small night light with Blessed mother and the Christ child. it was made in China and I would estimate the value to be around $5; they had it priced at $29.99. They were selling a small Willow tree angel for $14.99; you can get a new one at the Hallmark store in its box for that price or less. I also went into the aisle where they had random picture frames. The aisle was crammed with picture frames which were haphazardly arranged. visually it was unappealing and the art frames on the lower shelf were stacked in a way that they were inaccessible. So here is the dilemma; this is a junky thrift shop that is trying to pretend that it is a boutique and it is not happening. I am all in favor of supporting charity thrift stores but this store is unfairly pricing these donated goods such that the people who depend on thrift shopping to add special things or necessities cannot afford them. Shame on this store. Register your disdain by not buying this merchandise. Also provide feedback to alert others.
