Large open store room with a variety of furniture and decor needs. Towards the back of the room…read morethere is a small clearance section that is worth browsing through. Some prices are good, but some in my opinion are overpriced. I was able to find a cross engulfed with a heart that was a unique piece. I will be placing it in my flower garden. There is also a garden area outdoors that is hit or miss with the prices. If you find a large piece then let an associate know so that they can help with loading. I saw flooring such as tiles, rugs and I saw framed artwork which was difficult to browse through. There are dressers that would be great for a diy project. I also saw some wires, tools and lighting options. At the front are various couches and chairs as well as bed frames. I'll be returning to check the clearance again.

We've all heard of Habitat for Humanity and the amazing homes they build for the underprivileged. The sale of these items goes toward building even more Habitat homes and donations are the way they stock the shelves. I was surprised to see the large selection available and shocked at how affordable the prices are. Most of the furniture is located just as you enter and toward the front of the store. Sofas, love seats, coffee/end tables, entertainment centers and most things desired to furnish a living room, family or game room can be found here. Formal to dine-in kitchen tables, kitchen islands and china cabinets are available in several styles and finishes. Some of the wood furniture had a blemish or two but most was just normal wear. A few pieces would make great projects. Laminate flooring, lighting, shower stalls and tubs, patio doors and bathroom vanities are a few of the other items I found. The merchandise changes from day-to-day so pop in often if you looking for something specific. Donations can be dropped off Monday through Saturday 10 am to 6 pm or schedule pickup for large items or bulk donations.

Maybe it was just having left Gilley's that affected my perception of this place. Or maybe it's…read morethe lack of accessibility that this place has that keeps it from getting a higher rating. They have some nice stuff here, including a lot more furniture than I expected. They have more room upstairs for browsing too. But the barn seems small compared to the antique mall next door, so unless there is something here that screams "Buy me!", it's kind of hard to rate it higher. Be aware that this is an old barn and has a raised center aisle to walk on. That means low head clearance for air ducts, so watch out. Also, if you are rubber-necking and not looking down, the step down into the rooms/booths on the first floor is large (maybe a 10" drop!) and it would be easy to stumble if you aren't paying attention. Fortunately, the owner did mark the steps in yellow and write "Step" on the ground, but who looks down when you are surrounded by stuff at eye level? I guess I should have. On the positive side, there were some beautiful furniture pieces and a really cool store counter that had shelves that extend all the way through the counter, having a display window on the outside of the piece. This allowed you to see what was in the drawer as a purchaser. Not sure what you would do with this at home, but it was an ingenious piece of Americana. Review #1959
