Happened to be in the area so I finally went back after several years. It was super busy which suprised me because it was a weekday. The bins ends up taking stuff that didn't sell at other stores so there's a ton of stuff that is just crappy. Super worn clothes, holes, broken waist bands ect. I was still able to get some good stuff for me and my kids. I found a sherpa lined hoodie that was in great shape for my son. When I got home I looked it up and it retailed for $100. The side that has not clothes was chaos though. Someone in the bin next to you will take stuff out of their bin and throw it right on top of you digging in yours. It was stressful. A guy saw me picking some craft stuff out like buttons and beads and he must have felt bad for me because he started grabbing things and handing them to me haha. I did leave with some cool stuff and it was only $40 or something like that. I'll go again when I happen to be in the area, but if you have anxiety this might not be the place for you. read more

I visited the goodwill "bins" for the first time today. It was very crowded at 1pm on a Sunday but Ive heard thats normal for this place. It smelt extremely bad and since we live in arizona and this place does not have air conditioning it was blazing hot. [WHAT TO EXPECT] The place is huge. Simply ginormous. But the actual place customers can access is only a small part of the warehouse. When my friends and I arrived around 4pm on a Saturday, the parking lot was mostly full. Inside, we notice blue bins on one side of the space full of clothes. There are carts lining the sides. They are actually "owned" by the customers and they have covered them with some cloth to mark that they are taken. One family was sitting in the middle of the floor eating sandwiches. And their son was playing with a toy train set he had brought. After maybe 20 minutes, customers were lining up next to a door and we wondered why. But it's bc people wait for new shipments of blue bins to arrive and want to be the first ones to go through them After about an hour, workers start carting new blue bins to the other half of the empty room. Once it's full, we're told to wait behind the line (what line? we're not sure). And there are nearly 40-50 people all waiting in anticipation. I felt the impatience of all the customers and once we're given the OK, people spring towards the other end of the room towards the new bins. For most of the customers, waiting for new bins is a whole day task. Experienced customers have brought gloves and masks. Because when you go through the clothes, sometimes you encounter underwear or strange liquids. There's dust lining the bottom of the bins. There are some good finds if you're looking for oversized sweaters and tshirts. I did find a Madewell shirt. But name brand items are fairly rare. Most of the clothes are from Target brands or unknown brands. There is a section for books, but they're mainly filled with outdated books. [PRICE] The cost for everything is amazing. I paid $2.63 for a Madewell shirt, sweater and future ugly sweater. [What to bring] Bring gloves! and maybe a mask but that's not super necessary. read more

They make up their own prices. They don't follow the pound rule. It smelt like human feces in there. Poorly managed. There were people jumping in the bin and smearing their boogers on clothing. So I've been to a few clearance/ outlet centers like this. This one is s little more busy as they do clear one side of the small room and then load it with stuff as people then rush to the bins when they say go. The front room is all mainly clothes and the edges are lined with miscellaneous and maybe 1 or 2 bins of shoes. They do open the back which is part of the warehouse and that's where your really digging. I always wear gloves to theses places. Be prepared to sneeze often as there's just dust flying everywhere. I found some coach purses, Prada shoes, Frye. They did have a glass case in the front where they put some of the better items, but those are priced differently. The rest is by the pound I believe. This place used to be great, priced by the pound and employees used to be super nice. Not any more. Now employees make up random prices at the register, occasionally scream at customers, and treat them like garbage. Every time I visit a state I try to stop by the Goodwill Clearance Center. Overall, the center is orderly. You have to register online prior to coming. If not, they will let you sign up when you get here. As usual there are regulars but they were aggressive when I arrived. When you are check in and grab a cart. There are two areas, the front is apparel and the back is furniture, tools, houseware etc. I like this because you don't have to worry about cutting yourself in bins like the bins in Fort Worth. This center does not mix household and clothing items. The negative I have is this schedule that they run which seems inefficient. You get about an hour and a half to shop then they clear all the bins off the floor, which takes about an hour. So people just stand in line and wait for the next round, at least you wait inside the store. If you leave you can come back if there is space, I was told. I arrive late in the morning and the bins were still full even though the store was busy. Some of the bins were really odorous and some were wet and moldy smelling. Came with my elderly Mother in law who asked a staff person a question and was told 'what do you want me to do? Hold your hand?' She told him to F off. That's kinda how this place goes . For first timers here's the drill. Go to the goodwillaz website. Search for clearance stores . Register online !!! You will receive a code after registration but most likely the security guard will only ask for the last 4 digits of your phone number then he hands you a lanyard with a plastic card that has a number. You'll grab a basket and get in line. It doesn't matter which line or that ppl 'cut' in line while you're waiting. Then you stand and wait for-hecking-ever it seems like til they start calling numbers. When your number is called take your cart and go to the entrance to the floor. Don't go to the electronics room if you want clothing. Go and stand by a covered bin. They'll let you know when to uncover your bin and you have 2 minutes to have that bin all to yourself. They'll tell you when youre done and to move on. Then the free for all begins. Covid precautions restrict 2 shoppers to a bin. The remainder of the time you can shop at any bin that doesn't already have 2 ppl in it. This goes on til they start removing bins then you either check out or wait on the side hoping your number gets picked again. We hit as many bins as possible but got a little burned out on it so we checked out early. There wasn't a line. Just need to push your shopping cart up on the scale and the checker weighs the entire cart. They sell huge bags to tote your stuff out to your ride. Tips: Wear comfortable shoes Bring some kind of work gloves or plastic gloves for digging thru the bins. Leave your kids at home Leave your kids at home Leave your kids at home No kids under 12/13 are allowed in the door. I'd call or check the website to verify the age before going. It's $1.69 a pound for everything except glassware which is .59 a lb. It's a warehouse. It is inherently dirty no matter how much they sweep the floor. Put your clothes and fabrics into the washer as soon as you get home in case you had stowaways come in with you Most importantly HAVE FUN ! This Goodwill Clearance Center is where all of the unwanted and unsold CRAP from all the regular Goodwill stores end up...it's truly a HOARDERS paradise!!! You won't find organized departments or racks with hanging clothes, instead there are piles and piles of clothing to rummage through. Bins with electronics, bins with home decor, bins with toys...it's all about rummaging through the bins. Everything is SOLD by weight, except for media (books, CDs, DVDs, etc). This place is almost like a rotating thrift store, they have this big room that have like 20+ rolling bins full of crap that you have to sort through (BRING GLOVES!)...they roll out the old bins and bring in new ones every few hours... The people shopping here are like a bunch of rabid piranhas! You know when you are at a park throwing food and lots of hungry pigeons start attacking the food pile? Well, it's like that... When the employees roll out new bins...crowds of people make a mad rush towards the bins in a frenzy, pushing & grabbing, and stuff starts flying out and all over the place...it's CRAZY!!! People were grabbing piles of naked Barbies, ugly home decor from the 90's, and broken toys & various things...why? This is stuff that I would toss into the trash. Many customers covered their treasure filled carts with a random sheet or curtain that were all lined up along the side of the wall. People spend the day here. The cashier told me that most people (regulars) come there everyday...and hang out there all day are buying the stuff to sell at the Mexican Swap Meets... The restrooms were clean, employees were friendly, but they should ban these aggressive, pushy shoppers...after all, it's just JUNKIE garbage they are fighting over. read more

Used to be one of my favorite places to shop, but now it's ridiculous. You have to register first online, then get there at 8am and hope your number gets picked in their lottey to shop. No way is this the way a business should be run, Covid or not! I can't believe they expect people to drive there and wait for the chance to shop. The place is a gem and I can't believe that not one local person I know has ever been there. Customers are 90 % re-sellers and I get that since racing either 60 to 90 minutes to see as much of the warehouse as you can before the next "rotation." Most of the items have never seen a Goodwill store before. You notice a pattern of a bin clearly full of folded clothes for the same age and size. My feeling is that stuff is sent here when retail Goodwill stores simply have too much inventory. Most of the items I purchase are brand new with tags. I got a Nordstrom cashmere cardigan for MAYBE $1.50. Cloth and clothing are priced by weight. You can buy 10 outfits and a full set of bedding linens for like $20. I'm basing that on what I have typically paid. It is slightly addicting though as buying new stuff can be cheaper than going to the laundromat. Oh, I've also purchased brand new room sized area rugs for $5.50. That's the price whether it's a 24" by 50" or if it's 8' by 10'. The employees are as patient as they can be but it is chaotic and until you get the hang of it, expect to be barked at a few times. I'm going today and as I have some time I figured I'd do a review. You have to register ahead of time, and no children under 12 are allowed even if with a guardian. I totally wish this place would remain a secret but, that's not fair. I'd add a photo or two but there are signs everywhere that there is no photography. Nobody will hassle you if you are using you phone to look something up. Happy Holidays! read more

This place was absolutely filthy. I feel like I need to be sent to an asylum after being near all of these vicious people. The bins were filled with nasty undergarments covered in human feces. I'm surprised a rat didn't jump out and eat me. The place smelt like absolute shit. There weren't any good fines, and people were jumping into the bins as if they wanted to be covered in tics. This place is poorly managed and the prices are made up by employees. Not to mention my arms we're itching and burning after sticking them into those nasty bins. I've shopped at a few Goodwill bins locations, and this one is a joke. Seriously, the worst procedures for getting people in and around the store including lining up, waiting 45+ minutes, parading around the perimeter of the store, being handed a plastic card with a bin number on it...all to spend 3 minutes in your assigned place until everyone can move freely around the floor. And if you find anything good that they think you're getting too much of a bargain for, they'll take it at checkout and tell you that it should have been marked up and give you some exorbitant offer ($50!) for it. These are the Goodwill bins, hello!! No one comes here to drop $50 on a single item. Poorly run, rudely managed, not worth it. read more

Drove down there hitting 5 or 6 Goodwill thrift stores along the way. Walk in and there's very few people shopping, no one checking out when a guy at a table yells at me to stop. Nothing like that had happened at the other stores so I turned and asked, "what's up?". He proceeded to ask me if I didn't see the sign there (on the table), which I hadn't, and that there was a list to get in. Gee, maybe put a sign on the door or one of those billboard thingies near the entrance? I looked again in the room and it was all clothes so I asked if that was it and he said there was some stuff in the back room. He then says you have to sign up on-line to which I gave him the blanky, blank look. He said he could take down my cell number and give me a call when it's my time. I asked about how long that would be and he didn't know. Now, I have been at the Goodwill Dumpster, back when it was downtown and there were a lot of pallet boxes with broken stuff nobody wanted, so I was figuring I'd walk in, make a pass and head out, 10 minutes tops and didn't see any point waiting to look at garbage that even Goodwill didn't want. Reading these other comments, seems the right decision. Much like the Tempe store that thinks everything is gold and priced accordingly, avoid this dumpster like the plaque. read more

This place is a dump. It's overcrowded with people and trash on the tables and the floor. Don't be fooled by the photos posted by Goodwill because it doesn't look like that inside. It's absolute mess and chaotic free for all. I would recommend wearing a mask because there is an abundance of dust and germs. read more

We did have to wait outside before we could get inside about 1/2 hour but as soon as we got inside the Asst manager Katrina Rose made sure everyone had water , The store is a little chaotic and there is a lot of regulars that know how it works , our first time today one of the associates Bianca came over to us and explained how the store runs she was a really hard worker too !
