I was extremely pleased to find this particular store within easy walking distance of my most favorite/#1 daughter's new apartment (My primary reason for being in this fine community was to assist her with relocation.) A bit of a cool/breezy front had blown into town, and there is no better store to buy high-quality additional layers than GOODWILL! Additionally, thus excellent business also provides excellent employment opportunities for an underserved population. Specifically, my cashier, JAMES, is differently abled with deafness/hard-of-hearing and asked me to write my question down on a separate pad of paper he kept just for this reason. He very capably answered my query--he is absolutely fully functional in every other way. Like all of the staff, he is welcoming and affable. This store is extremely clean/bright/airy, with super clean water closets. Just a great shopping environment. I was extremely pleased--though the two clothing items missed being on "half off" tagged day! I highly recommend this exceptional store, and it certainly has my coveted "iWheel of Approval!"

To be honest, from looking at the outside, I did not expect to see much in this store. However,…read moreonce inside, it's bigger than you think, and absolutely crammed full of merchandise. This place bills itself as a thrift store, but the prices are more in line with what you'd see in a consignment store. The aisles are very narrow in order to accommodate all the merchandise. They definitely have some collectible items, including some vintage stereo stuff. Inside you'll also find appliances, toys, furniture, tons of clothes, home decor, drum sets and electronics. They do offer sale prices on certain color tags which are likely the items that have been sitting around for a while. About half the space is given over to clothing and accessories, you'll also find three dressing rooms to try them on. This business doesn't just accept donations, they will purchase them as well. This thrift store carries a higher quality number of goods by far than your average Goodwill, but then again they are priced higher. Plenty of photos to peak your interest below.

They have unique pieces, ones you can envision wearing or putting in your home. At ATX Thrift store the thrill of the hunt is still alive and bubbling in your shopping veins. Smile. The selection of items rotates frequently with clothing, shoes, accessories, and goods that range from everyday basics to those one of kind items. This store used to be called the Assistance league of Austin, but as of last June, they disassociated and became a local nonprofit instead. There's actually about 300 volunteers that work without getting paid and keep this nonprofit going. The store is set up more like a well merchandised consignment store with plenty of furniture. All the prices here sit somewhere between Goodwill pricing and consignment store pricing. Unlike most thrift stores, this one is only given over to half the store being clothing and shoes, and the rest is hard goods. So I wanted to come show my support and check the store out. The staff is so welcoming and helpful. Everything is super organized and the selections are unique. A nice blend of clothing and shoes (both men and women's), glassware, jewelry, electronics and a bunch of other items. I had so much fun browsing. I found an Anne Taylor top for example that was $12. Score. The prices are reasonable and the selection is varied. It's a very welcoming place and I can't wait to bring friends and shop again. He also offered me the charity receipt, which is standard. There were two cars in front of me, but there were multiple employees, and they worked efficiently to keep things flowing smoothly, which kept the line moving.
