Apparently when a dealer offers a dealer warranty on a used vehicle, do not purchase an extended…read morewarranty as they will not honor their 100% coverage dealer warranty. They are saying that they have tried to communicate and offer solutions, but this is the farthest from the truth. I have documentation, text messages, and phone calls where I am all being told different things. The one thing I am consistently told is that the GM will call me back - yet never does. I have been attempting all avenues of resolution as it has been almost two months (my truck was towed to the dealer on 12/15) and there has been none from the dealership. The truck was supposed to be repaired under the dealer warranty per the conversation the finance manager said he had with the GM on 12/26 @10:03AM and here we are in February with no communication and no repairs. I am wanting to reach a resolution and keep trying different avenues to do this. I would like for the dealership to honor what they have stated, but I also want and need my vehicle back in good working order and condition. Received this from them on the BBB complaint, after I have been working with the GM and am awaiting the return of my truck "MESSAGE FROM THE BUSINESS: There is nothing else to day; said it all in our response. This customer is unreasonable and nothing we day or do will satisfy them! " so what is really going on here?

When we picked up the car, there were scratches and marks that our salesperson, Josh Bouchard, photographed and promised would be fixed. We brought the car back and were told the issues would be taken care of, yet each step required us to follow up. We later met with Steve Long, the General Manager, who said he would call us with an update. Weeks went by with silence until we finally reached out ourselves. Every meaningful update came only after we initiated it. The professionalism and follow-through we expected simply weren't there. Once the sale was done, it felt like we stopped mattering.

They did right by us. We drove away in an objectively better vehicle and we will be back and will be sending everyone we know their way. Special thanks to Lizet, Brandon, JT, and Jaydon We found our dream vehicle, got approved, built a full deal with our trade-in, and showed up to sign -- only to find out it had already sold the DAY BEFORE we ever expressed interest in it. The GM apologized and we genuinely appreciate that -- but we have still not received a resolution. My advice to anyone shopping here: make sure the vehicle is actually sitting on that lot BEFORE they run your credit. I hope to update this review with a resolution soon.

Worst car dealership experience I've ever had…read more First, I want to say that our salesman, Blake, was fantastic. He was professional, helpful, and this review is absolutely not about him. The problem was with the sales manager, Jayden. We were interested in purchasing a used Toyota Tundra, but during the test drive we noticed what felt like the beginning of a death wobble. We asked if their mechanic could inspect it, and the mechanic confirmed the alignment was off, causing significant tire wear. The tires needed to be replaced, and the truck needed an alignment. Jayden then drove the truck himself and came back telling us the wobble was "normal" because of the large, aggressive tires. That explanation directly contradicted what their own mechanic had told us. We simply said that, before we would even consider purchasing the truck, we wanted the tires replaced and the alignment corrected. His response was, "Well, I guess this isn't the truck for you," and he walked away. I've never felt so dismissed or disrespected as a potential customer. Instead of addressing a legitimate safety concern, we were essentially made to feel like we were being unreasonable. We walked away and will never do business there

I was driving a Ford Bronco passing through Twin Falls and it broke down. It was undriveable, so I planned to have it shipped to Texas where I live. Alicia at the service desk was very empathetic and recognized my predicament. There was an older gentleman who seemed to be in a top leadership position at the dealer. He was rather empathetic as well. I needed to find a way to get home to Texas and I found a last minute flight out of Twin Falls airport. The older gentleman offered to personally drive me personally to the airport and told me it was no problem to leave my Bronco at their dealer while I figured out what to do. In the last month, I had been working on getting transportation for the vehicle which was super difficult as hardly any auto-transport drivers go through Twin Falls. Alicia and the dealership were super patient with me. These people were not getting any benefit from me or my vehicle besides just helping their fellow man... a complete stranger in this case. I owe my gratitude to them and I know where there hearts are. Thank you Middlekauff Ford Lincoln and especially Alicia in service. Bob

I live in MT and have purchased all of my vehicles out of state for the past 8-10 years with no major hiccups. I called before I arrived to make sure all was in order. The saleswoman told me the car was ready for me. When I saw the Denali it was nicely washed on the outside, but the inside was filthy. Had not been cleaned. Also all of accessories that were stored in the rear cargo area were missing. Never did get them from the dealership. I will say though the paper signing went very smoothly. As I was leaving the lot I noticed that the gas tank was completely empty and showed only 37 miles left. They had to fill it up for me. Said they had forgot. I left the lot and half way home I attempted to wash the front window only to see the red notice on the the instrument panel say to add wash fluid. Unbelievable!!! I had to stop and purchase a gallon. Then when I arrived back in MT I discovered that the saleswoman had given me the wrong spare key. She said the next day that they found the correct one and would send it to me. Honestly folks you can't make this up. Very sloppy and those responsible really dropped the ball. Their numerous apologies met deaf ears. I guess when Rob Green says when you buy their vehicle "as is" they really mean it!!!!!! Needless to say I am done with this GMC dealership for my future purchases of GMC trucks and SUVs. I am responding to the generic response from the sales manager. I did finally receive the spare key and mailed back the wrong key. What about sending me all of the missing accessories from the rear cargo area. Also the operating and maintenance manuals were not in the glove compartment. I am sure that I will just get another generic response. So much for treating customers properly!!!!

I drove several hours from out of state to look at a Toyota 4Runner. I made the long journey to buy…read morethe car but It was bait and switch. So many undisclosed issues like paint issues, loose front bumper, loud wheel bearing/worn tire, alignment. When I mentioned that the vehicle wasn't as described, Blake said "it is expected for a used $28k vehicle to not be perfect." While that statement is true, I was not looking for a perfect car, I was looking for a reasonable car. I then told them that I would need a discount to repair the undisclosed issues the vehicle had. They said they cannot go down, In fact, if they do, it would mean a lower tradein value for my vehicle which ultimately means they did nothing to help the situation and literally tried to even it out. Test drive began with salesman Blake driving to a convenient store parking lot, then he asked me to switch seats so I could test drive. He mentioned it was their policy that only the salesperson drive the vehicle out of the lot, then allowing the customer to test drive it back to their lot. Never heard of this before and seems disingenuous to not allow the full round trip for the customer to test out a $28k vehicle. I then requested to speak to the sales manager. Mr Blake, the salesman who assisted me went back and forth from his desk to the managers office, ultimately returning with the same results. I was advised the manager is "currently working on multiple things and is busy." Which tells me he doesn't want to own up to the dealership's mistakes and accommodate a sitting customer with funds ready on hand.Just to clarify, Blake sent me a short walkaround video, where he began pointing at a couple areas on the hood where paint was touched up, however, I evidently found out that the paint used was the wrong shade of white. The vehicle had a pearl white paint exterior and the touch up paint was a base white, which is different. It wasn't even done correctly with a tiny brush, it was smeared with someone's finger, as they glided the wrong paint around the rock chips, but failed to fill the crater left by the chip itself. After pointing at the hood, Blake cotninued to talk about the features it has. What I was more concerned with, is the rest of the body's condition. After not disclosing the remaining issues, I was certain he would stand by any shortcomings from hiding the new issues i found out about. Finally, when I arrived, I saw it pulled up to the front of the dealership. I immediately saw the front paint damage that was touched up on the hood, however, they discounted the severity of the problem, because there were multiple areas with touch up paint, including the hood, driver's front door, the tailgate, and more. I also noticed that the front bumper was separating from the top corners, indicative of prior replacement (fit and finish won't be like Toyota), loose rivets, or the vehicle may have recently collided with an object or another car. Yes, it had a "clean" Carfax with 3 owners but I do not trust carfax since not everything gets reported. Carfax works for the dealer, not you. The finance manager "Guillermo" said he'd rather sell it locally there when I mentioned that I would appreciate it if they could work with me on a deal, since I am a committed buyer driving far (8hrs). This is the same Guillermo who had to be educated on why prepaid maintenance program is also honored at my local Toyota. He wanted to charge me a fee in the selling price, not allow me to opt out, and still require me to drive 8hrs for this service plan which includes oil changes and tire rotations. Blake corrected him, rightfully so, but the alarming fact is that he was certain he was right in the first place. Considering his position as "finance manager" Guillermo should have known better. A bit condescending and arrogant in my assessment. salesman was kind and responsive to my questions but it would have been nice to know those things before driving 8hrs. I don't recommend Wills Toyota for used cars if you don't want hidden problems and disappointments. What a shame.

Ten hours later, I arrived at the dealership, only to find the vehicle in much rougher shape than I had expected. It turns out all the photos on the dealer's website were taken from angles very careful to avoid showing the scratched and damaged areas on the vehicle. Further, I found the same vehicle had been purchased on an auto auction site a year previous that DID show the damage to the vehicle, meaning the dealership made a conscious effort to play down the damage on its website. Worse, it's also clear that some of the damage was worked on to try to conceal it, which only made it MORE visible, though I cannot definitively say that work was done BY the dealership. Most frustratingly, the dealership was not willing to budge on pricing when shown all the defects of the vehicle in question, even though they were asking almost $7000 more than was paid at auction and no work had been done to the car since. In fact, the car had been sitting for sale on the dealer's lot for over a year, ever since it was collected from the seller following the auction. I have zero issues with the sales staff at Middlekauff, they were very straightforward and never tried to "get away" with anything. Further, I had to have their service department address an issue with the car, which they did immediately and cheerfully. But bottom line, had they been more straightforward about the exterior condition of the vehicle and had they been willing to negotiate on pricing, I would be driving it today; instead I drove back home in the vehicle I was going to trade for it. It was certainly an enjoyable drive there and back, and a pleasure to deal with both the sales and service staff, it's only the management I have an issue with. They didn't even TRY to contact me later to win over my business or come "running after me" as I prepared to leave; a salesperson mentioned the owner buys and sells cars at auctions for fun and doesn't care how long they take to sell... and it shows. Is that a reason to avoid them? Not at all, but it's also not a reason to recommend them. They know what they want to sell the vehicle for no matter how far outside market pricing it may be, so don't go expecting to strike a "fair deal" - it's pretty much a take it or leave it proposition at Middlekauff.
