Apparently when a dealer offers a dealer warranty on a used vehicle, do not purchase an extended warranty as they will not honor their 100% coverage dealer warranty. They are saying that they have tried to communicate and offer solutions, but this is the farthest from the truth. I have documentation, text messages, and phone calls where I am all being told different things. The one thing I am consistently told is that the GM will call me back - yet never does. I have been attempting all avenues of resolution as it has been almost two months (my truck was towed to the dealer on 12/15) and there has been none from the dealership. The truck was supposed to be repaired under the dealer warranty per the conversation the finance manager said he had with the GM on 12/26 @10:03AM and here we are in February with no communication and no repairs. I am wanting to reach a resolution and keep trying different avenues to do this. I would like for the dealership to honor what they have stated, but I also want and need my vehicle back in good working order and condition. Received this from them on the BBB complaint, after I have been working with the GM and am awaiting the return of my truck "MESSAGE FROM THE BUSINESS: There is nothing else to day; said it all in our response. Don't go here. Drove from WA for a Truck that was "loaded" and sold to me as a "clean" truck. Truck turned out to be from Canada - that wasn't relayed to me until I signed the paperwork, and sure maybe that's my fault. What ISN'T my fault is the incorrect stereo that was just thrown in the truck and didn't end up working 10 mins down the road, all of the blind spot sensors not working and turned off so that I couldn't tell that they didn't function, the AC being completely out of refrigerant costing ME over $700 post purchase just for some cold air, and the WRECKED back end that was fixed in someone's shop and held together with JB weld. I recently took it into the a local shop to have it worked on and it was brought to light that my tow package was being held together with predominantly JB weld. It's good to know that Goode Motor Mazda doesn't give a shit about people's lives - if the boat I tow regularly got away from me due to that, it absolutely could have taken someone's life - including my own family's who often ride with me when I tow our boat. I've payed thousands to make this truck "right". I brought the initial issues to Goode motor Mazda and was untimely met with "well you signed the paperwork that says buy as is" - which is true, BUT this was absolutely not the truck I was sold and I had no idea that the truck had ANY of these issues upon purchase and none where replayed to myself prior or post purchase. I feel absolutely taken advantage of and swindled. Not to mention the inherent and inexcusable risk that my family has been exposed to. Sales was service mediocre. 3 weeks after buying a vehicle and only putting 900 miles on it, the rear main seal blew. It took their service department 2 days to diagnose the problem. They hadn't reached out to me so I called them and they said they had tried to reach out to me but come to find out they had the wrong number. Braun is the only person who was willing to take initiative and figure something out without trying to charge me. The service department just wants to make a dollar and is absolutely useless. I hoped to write a positive review of my recent purchase, but unfortunately, the dealership is unwilling to work with me. Being as though I was coming in from out of town, I called ahead of time to ensure that the price range I was hoping to be at was within range. The Sale Manager stated that he expected it was and that driving over (2+ hours) would show the decision-makers I was serious about doing a deal. I took that as a green light and made the trip anticipating doing a deal. By this point, I had also received text messages from the salesperson stating that "all the interior components work as they should" and that it was a great running vehicle. Upon arrival, we took a short test drive, and things seemed to be as advertised. We then went inside where we were told that the vehicle went through a 150 point checklist and was given a copy of all the things that they had fixed on the vehicle. To me, this reinforced that, despite the age and miles, it was in good working order and that "all interior components worked as they should". Not only this but I soon discovered that the price that I thought we were going to be close to was not actually the price that was possible. They indicated that although the price we had seen online was accurate, that was only if we were going to trade in a vehicle AND do financing. The "actual" price was $2000 more than that, and as such, there is no way that they could get anywhere close to the number I had spoken with the sales manager about. Ironically, I had stated from the get-go that I had planned to pay cash, so this should not have been a surprise. By this point, we had spent hours in the dealership and decided to leave and grab a meal. Upon thinking it over, I decided we would move forward with the purchase as the dealer had convinced us that the car was solid, had run it through 150 point check, done repairs, and everything functioned as it should. After completing the purchase, we left to fill the tank, and it was discovered that the rear door locks did not function correctly. This required me to climb over both seats to unlock the doors from the inside. Having only one key and no key fobs, I was unable to troubleshoot this, and the dealership had closed for the day. Shortly after getting on the freeway, the tire pressure monitoring system light came on. At the next stop, the DVD components were found not to operate correctly, and the side power mirrors were found not to work either. The next morning the engine started extremely rough, and the oil pressure gauge was outside of its normal range - things we had not experienced on the test drive. I also looked back at text messages from the dealer, who stated that both the front & rear brakes had been replaced, but the paperwork they gave me stated that they only serviced the front. At this point, I called the dealer to state that I felt the car I was sold was not as advertised. Rather than stand behind the service, 150-point checklist, and repairs they had done, they tried to blame the high miles of the vehicle. Ironically while trying to get the sale, they also stated how they never sell anything they can't stand behind. They then recommended that I drive back (2+ hours) so that their service department could look at it, but I stated that, according to them, they already had (150 point check?). I understand it is a used car, but if I had known that there were as many issues as I have found, then I would have made a different buying decision. My trust had been broken, and I told them I wanted to resell the vehicle back for what I had paid them 12 hours prior. Both the Sales Director and General Manager stated that this was not possible, despite admitting that mistakes had been made by their staff. And here I thought that "customer service" was their top priority." I was optimistic that they would choose to do the right thing, but at this point, it doesn't appear that they will. They were to pay off the 2017 now a month later I am getting bills from Mazda that I owe x number of dollars. They told me Mazda loyalty of $750 was now $1500 only until 4/1. LIE was good until June. Service department was excellent. When I took my Mazda in for scheduled maintenance, we (me and my car) were taken well care of. They changed the oil and inspected the car 's systems. They did not try to talk me into getting any unnecessary work or replacement parts. Love that! The nice young lady at the desk even took the time to explain to me how colder temperatures effect air pressure in the tires. Warning light had me thinking I had a nail in the tire. Ha. They took it to a whole new level of corruption when my sister's social security number was used by the individual she purchased her car from to open up credit cards that the employee used. Tell us Goode Motors, how secure are the financial documents when one purchases a vehicle from your company? Appears you could improve significantly in that area. DO NOT BUY from Goode Motors in Twin Falls on Blue Lakes. My husband and I just recently (4 weeks ago) bought a 2013 Dodge 2500 Mega Cab Laramie from them. After driving the vehicle for about a week we took it in due to some vibrations while driving on the interstate. Their "mechanics" at first didn't want to help us, but after getting "permission." They tell us NOTHING was wrong. They "aligned and balanced" everything. A week later we were back in the shop. Granted this pickup has 30,000 miles on it... for a diesel its brand new. Again, nothing. Said everything looked great. So we turned around and took it to Les Schwab, come to find out the tires are very over inflated causing it to warp the tires. Now theres a huge lump in the tire causing the vibrations. Goode Motors has no idea what they are doing. Brenda, and the financial sales rep are amazing, but they do not know a damn thing about fixing a vehicle!!! read more

OMG, run! !! Found a car online for my daughter-in-law, gave a deposit and went to do the paperwork. The dealer would not honor the deal that they put on USAA. They wanted to do their own financing, so i got approved for a loan on my phone while waiting for them to mess around. Then, we just had to wait for the finance person to sign the documents already prepared by USAA and faxed over. They had one person and told us out would be just a couple minutes. Flew in from MN because I got a good price on a truck. The tires appeared to have adequate tread on them but were worthless on the snow/ice. I was told I would get the "3 month warranty" prior to arriving and while signing the papers was told that I wouldn't be getting it due to living out of state. A month and a half later when I didn't get the title I tried contacting them multiple times, left messages with more than one person, and never got a call back. Went in for oil change and tire rotation, now the brakes squeal which I just put on new brakes and rotars. It pulls hard to the right and a grinding sound in the front end and sensor codes keep poping up. They caused more problems and cost me more money doing a oil change then I could ever imagine. Called them on the phone. Asked detailed questions. Does the truck have leaks? Has it been damaged in an accident? Is it rusted? Told them we were driving 2.5 hours down to look at it. When we arrived, the truck was parked out front with a "sold" sign on it. We did not receive a call though they had our number. The sales-woman asked us to go have lunch and come back because the person they sold the truck to might not have good enough credit. When we looked at the truck, the front bumper had been replaced and was not properly attached. The transmission and steering box were leaking. The paint was flaking and there was at least 50 pounds of dried mud packed up inside the front of the truck. I would not recommend doing business with Goode Motor Volkswagen Mazda. read more

I've been meaning to write an update since the day we bought our truck. I will never recommend buying from this dealership. It's a miracle that we made it back to Montana safely! They sold us our pickup - inspection fees and all - with a front suspension that had only one of three bolts in place. On top of that, half way into our drive the oil pressure dropped. They wouldn't pay for the problem because we had taken it off the lot. After complaining, they agreed to help with the cost of we took it to a GM dealership. They "fixed" the problem for a hefty price and we went on our way. Same problem happened again so when we took it to our mechanic at home, he fixed the problem for half the price and we haven't had an issue since. That is when he found the problem with the suspension. These should never have happened! Especially if they actually inspected it like they claimed. We probably should have pursued further action with them, however, we were so fed up dealing with this sleezy dealership. Stay away. read more

Bought a used vehicle via the phone and agreed to a set price. Then I was told that I had to pay some additional fees and then the fees went up again. Second, I was told I didn't have to smog my truck when I registered it. Well I did have to and when I asked to be compensated for the cost of part of it I was denied. I guess they really don't know about sticking to the price they originally quote. My younger brother went in and purchased a car and was given a "warranty" for the used car. 3 days after purchase, the transmission went out. When my brother took the car into the authorized mechanic he refused to honor the warranty stating that the car had been in multiple times before and could not be repaired. When my brother returned to the dealer (this time without my father), he was told their was only 1 car on the lot that could be used as a trade-in.
