Called them in the morning as my rear wiper and the windshield washers both front and back stopped working; after it was fixed, we asked them if they could change the spark plugs on our 2003 van; they completed that as well as we waited for the work to be done; couldn't be happier that we got everything done within 2-1/2 hours and at a reasonable price; thus will be my go-to place for any future auto needs! read more

Took a little longer than initially quoted but they did an awesome job and were very reasonable in price! Would highly recommend!

I couldn't be more grateful for Hwy 30! We're from out of town, and when my daughter's car broke down, we had it towed to a Lithia dealership--which turned out to be a nightmare. Thankfully, we found Hwy 30, and they were absolutely amazing from the very first phone call to the moment we picked up the car with a new motor in less than two weeks. The team felt like family, genuinely taking care of us and keeping our best interests at heart. We will forever be grateful for these men and their incredible service! read more

I have been going here for years. Mom and dad took their cars here. So 50 plus years. When you call they are the best I drove tow trucks for years if you need help now they are there for you. read more

Had an extremely important delivery from Seattle going to Denver, CO and my box truck decided to overheat approaching Twin Falls. I was in a real bad spot, as it was a Sunday night and I only had a day to get my truck running and back on route to Denver. Aubrey and Dan were my hero's. Aubrey answered my phone call on a Sunday when no one else would, and they got my truck in for service first thing the next morning. They were able to locally source the part needed and have me back up and running the very same day! Dan even drove us to a nearby diner to pass the time. Can't thank everyone here enough! They literally performed the impossible. highly recommend them! read more

My husband and I would highly recommend this towing and auto repair shop to anyone and everyone coming through twin Falls. Dan saved our entire trip as our brake rotors decided to give us major problems coming through the mountains from California on our way to Wyoming. I panicked thinking we would be stuck some where for days trying to find a good mechanic. Luckily Dan and Highway 30 Towing/auto garage came highly recommended. I called late evening and he was great about squeezing our car into his schedule first thing the next morning to get our family back on the road again as quickly as possible. Dan was such a nice guy, fair and reasonably priced --didn't do more than what was necessary to fix the problem. He's knowledgeable leaving us with confidence as we continue our road trip. Thank you so much Dan and mechanic team! We are so grateful. Locals and road trippers are very lucky you are here. If you need towing and/or auto repairs in this area, I would highly recommend Dan and Highway 30 Towing/auto repair. read more

My car broke down about 30 miles north of Wells, NV on my way to the Sawtooth mountains. Highway 30 sent a professional and extremely nice person (Tim) to tow my friends and me up to Twin Falls. They were as quick as I could hope for, and took my car to a local dealership (Goode's VW -- great people too) to get fixed. Tim was nice to chat with and helped us figure out a way to get to our final destination that night. My friends and I genuinely believe that without his help we would have been either stranded in Twin Falls for another day or would have spent much more time and money than we would have without his help. I would recommend Highway 30 to anyone who needs towing services in the Twin Falls area. They are a pleasure to work with and really saved our butts this time around. read more

I brought in my car that wasn't running and left it with them for over three weeks. They finally told me they weren't sure what was wrong with it but could be something electrical and They really didn't do electrical. They charged me $285 to diagnose it and when I ask what systems they. checked they couldn't tell me exactly. They did give me the advice that it wasn't worth fixing & I had it towed home. Six months later I had a mechanic come to the house and look at it. It was Hind opinion that they didn't check anything mostly because all the relays were missing and the car wouldn't turn over. read more

Awesome service! Quick to come get our truck and camper from Jackpot, NV and take us to their shop! They also were kind enough to drive us over to a cafe near but while we waited for their diesel mechanic to work on our truck! Highly recommend!! read more

Starter on our truck went out while traveling and they fit us in late on a Friday afternoon !! They were Very friendly, and helpful and got us back on the road quickly and cost was very fair. We are feeling very blessed.... What could have been a vacation stopper ended up being a hiccup. Thank you!!!! read more

I was stranded with a blown water pump and fan clutch. These fine folks took me in without an appointment, did the work on the spot, and treated me like family the whole time. The price was appropriate. When I'm in Twin Falls, this is the ONLY place I will ever call. You'd do best to look no further. It doesn't get any better than this. read more

Aubrey was so personable. Dan was so accommodating, Devin was so knowledgeable and helpful. We are on a long RV trip and the engine light came on. They got us right in and got us on our way in an hour. I can't say enough about the superb service they provided for us out of towners. What a great find at a time of need. They also provide towing if needed. read more

I was charged $85 in advance for service request and service representative showed up in a pick up truck when it was clearly explained service was for 39' rv with dual tires. When service representative saw that he was incapable of the service of the rv, he said he would need to charge another service fee and make another trip to handle repairs. This delayed my trip, wasted our time and WOULD NOT refund fees for ill prepared incapable service vehicle that was dispatched for the service requested. I don't know how they stay in business, is this area really this desperate for diesel size/rv service providers.....this was a service requested through my roadside assistance company, and now that I am reading the website of the actual service provider that was sent, I see how few and old the reviews they have "cherry picked" are and may need to be deleted from my roadside assistance company's contract list. read more

Highway 30 Garage - Auto Repair Near Me - Twin Falls, Idaho

This is an excellent auto repair shop. I was traveling from California to South Dakota pulling an utility trailer. Our truck kept over heating. We were arriving in town on a Thursday evening after 5:00. I found the shop on Yelp and they have great ratings so I called about 4:30 and explained our issues. She was very kind and made us an appointment for the following morning at 8:00 am. We had planned on staying in Twin Falls that evening anyway, so that worked out. The following morning when I brought the truck in they helped me immediately, diagnosed the problems with in 30 mins. Then they called around to find the parts, our truck is a 2005 so it wasn't easy but they did it. I was going to Uber back to my hotel but the Manager offered to give me a ride. Our hotel was about 25 mins away. He suggested that we try for a late check out since they wouldn't be finished until about 1:30 or 2:00. He also offered that he would come back and pick our trailer and the four of us up and bring us to the shop to wait if we couldn't get the late check out. We did get the late check out. At 11:30 they called to tell us our truck was finished. We had walked to Target so he even came back and picked me up at Target to take me back to the car. The truck was fixed, he gave me the bad parts they removed and they charged me a lot less than I would have been charged in California. We completed our two week trip of over 3,000 miles without any additional problems. I cannot say enough about this shop. The staff was outstanding, helpful and very fair. The Manager went way beyond the norm to help us and he was extremely friendly. I wish this shop was in our hometown, I would give them all of our business. If you are ever traveling through Twin Falls and need any type of automotive help this is your shop. I wish I could give them more than 5 Stars. Thank you and I will never forget your kindness, professionalism and exceptional knowledge on car repair. read more

We got stuck just outside of twin falls headed home to salt lake with a dead transmission. Not only did the shop answer their phones on a Sunday, but they promptly came and towed the vehicle back to their shop for a reasonable tow cost. ($75) The next day they diagnosed the problem (transfer case) had a new one shipped to them and had the work completed by Wednesday afternoon. The initial price quoted for the repair was almost exactly what it came out to be. I was so satisfied with their professionalism, promptness and price quote that I had them install an exhaust I had ordered a few weeks back for a small cost as well. Although I hope no one ever gets stranded on I-84 the way we did (construction, etc.) I would strongly recommend you give these guys a call for all your repair needs. It's hard to find a good mechanic these days, but they are one I would use again! My suburban runs great, like the incident never happened. Hard to believe this was possible, especially on a weekend (Sunday afternoon)!! These guys really stand out among the rest. Bryan H. read more

Was passing through town late on a Friday and saw that I had a coolant leak. Couldn't see where it was coming from so I was guessing it was a water pump or a gasket somewhere. Highway 30 got me in right away Saturday morning and got me all fixed up!! Highly recommended. read more

My wife and I were taking a road trip from California to Yellowstone when we broke down right off the 95 in Twin Falls. We had already found a room for the night, so we went to bed dreading what we were going to do the following day. In the morning, after some debate, we decided to call Highway 30 Garage. They responded immediately. Within 40 mins of the initial call they had us on our way to their shop. Everyone there, from the mechanic, to the tow truck driver, to receptionist were extremely friendly and quite hilarious. They had us back on our trip before 3 hours had passed. They were very fairly priced as well. We were able to stay on track for our trip thanks to this wonderful business. Would recommend 10/10 times. read more

Had a part brake down on the way to boise. I pulled in at two o' clock and was back on the road by 3:50! Amazing service and staff was pleasant, timely and helpful. Grateful to know there's a reliable place to take my car from here on out! read more

My entire experience has been outrageous. Ive been lied to and was forced to pay out of pocket for the technician Shane's mistake. Who broke something while replacing another part in my car. This shop will take advantage of you, and over charge you for their mistakes. It took 10 business days for the work on my car to be finished. Communication is poor and there is no costumer service. I was yelled at in the shop by the owner when trying to explain I shouldn't be held responsible for someone else's mistake. The shop owner couldn't even provide me the diagnostic test results, and codes (required by law) that were pulled from their scanner. Also, Dan (owner) said he would take my car to the dealership to get it tested and show the dates the codes showed up. Guess what, I called the dealership and HW 30 garage didn't even contact them. I felt so unsure of this business I took my car to the dealership after the work they did and had it checked. This shop is shady, especially towards women. I will be disputing the charges and ultimately contacting my bank upon fraudulent activity. Do not come here. Even the work they did was poor. I had to tinker with some rubber mat on my steering shaft because it wasn't properly put back. And my car was filthy upon picking it! Mud and dirt all over the inside door panels and floor. read more

On a Sunday morning, I bent the tongue on my trailer. After talking with them from the highway, they called to make sure we found our way into town, then met us at the roadside to guide us into the shop. They had to pull the tongue off, do machine work on it, and reinstall. 2.5 hours later we were rolling down the highway. Fast, knowledgable, and reasonably priced. On Sunday no less. Thanks ever so much for the help! read more

Had a tire rip off my trailer on Superbowl Sunday at 8 in the morning. They where the only place open. They searched all over southern Idaho and could not find the right part so they made one and got me back on the road. read more

Today I had a problem with my Chevy Astro van. "Service engine soon" light started appearing on the board. The problem was extra difficult because the van is old (1988) and computer cannot recognize the root cause of the problem automatically. Also I needed to drive out of the city today. Thus I was not able to wait in the line. When I asked guys to help me, they were very friendly and well qualified. They helped me to find the root cause of my problem and they allowed me to avoid waiting for a long time in a line. I appreciate this very much, thanks a lot for this. I do recommend this nice service to everybody. read more

Fantastic Customer Service. Driving cross country, truck has alternator trouble on a Sunday, no less. Called Highway 30, Dan Killinger showed up in under 30 minutes. Great guy, great mechanic. Got us back on the road. Not only confident the problem was repaired but also comfortable the truck would make it home. Thanks Highway 30 and Dan! read more

Our car broke down on the Utah/Idaho border and this was the only garage willing to help us on a Sunday. Dan was friendly and helpful, and helped us find a solution so that we could get back to WA in spite of our time and budget constraints. The price and time it took to fix were exactly as quoted, and we were able to get home the next day without any more trouble. He was very accommodating, drove us to a hotel and back while we waited and made sure my baby and I were comfortable while my husband discussed options with him. Highly recommend. read more

I generally distrust auto repair places because I've definitely been burned before, but I have to say I was pretty impressed with this place. My husband's car broke down 20 miles out of town on the freeway and I called them to tow it to their garage to fix it. It was a flat bed tow with very reasonable prices and the quote I was given over the phone was true to what I ended up being charged. They fixed it in a timely manner and I felt like the price was pretty competitive for the job that was done. We ended up needing the fuel pump replaced which we were charged fairly for (compared to the research I did on the average price of the labor/parts.) They also ran a free diagnostic on the car to make sure nothing else was wrong. They did find another issue and gave me a quote for it (we were aware of the issue already and had talked to another shop who quoted us about half of what Highway 30 quoted us, but I don't think it was due to dishonesty, just a price difference) I let them know that we were aware of the issue and would have that taken care of elsewhere. They were understanding and didn't push us to get it taken care of there (which I greatly appreciated) Overall it was a good experience and I didn't walk out of there feeling like I'd been taken advantage of. Great staff, great service. Will definitely be using their services again. The only bummer is that they charge a 3% financing fee if you pay with a credit card so we used our debit account to save that money, but other than that no complaints! Thanks guys! read more

Auto repair is the biggest rip off and this place gets the gold medal. I believe that if you get what was express no problem don't charge for parts you never touch...bad business...I will never use this place again read more

We were having some trouble with our AC on a road trip from California to Montana. I found this place on Yelp and decided to give them a call. It can be hard to find an honest car shop but this place is it! read more

I live in the Boise Valley area and was looking at a vehicle to purchase in Twin Falls. I always take any vehicle that I'm serious about purchasing to my mechanic before buying. I wasn't able to take the vehicle to our regular mechanic in Nampa so I googled auto mechanics in Twin Falls. This garage had great reviews and I called and spoke with them about the possibility of running a vehicle check on the auto I was interested in. Despite my best efforts I arrived in Twin about 10 minutes before Highway 30 Garage closed. I had to drive to the dealership and pick up the vehicle, then drive to the garage...no way to get that done before closing time. Highway 30 stayed open for me ~ someone they did not know who may never have the opportunity again to use them. When I arrived they had 2-3 mechanics looking at the vehicle for me to make sure it was in great condition should I choose to purchase it. Highway 30 Garage gets a full 5 stars!! GREAT customer service! And...I did purchase the vehicle which has run great so far. :) read more
