Had an extremely important delivery from Seattle going to Denver, CO and my box truck decided to overheat approaching Twin Falls. I was in a real bad spot, as it was a Sunday night and I only had a day to get my truck running and back on route to Denver. Aubrey and Dan were my hero's. Aubrey answered my phone call on a Sunday when no one else would, and they got my truck in for service first thing the next morning. I brought in my car that wasn't running and left it with them for over three weeks. They finally told me they weren't sure what was wrong with it but could be something electrical and They really didn't do electrical.They charged me $285 to diagnose it and when I ask what systems they. checked they couldn't tell me exactly. They did give me the advice that it wasn't worth fixing & I had it towed home. Six months later I had a mechanic come to the house and look at it. It was Hind opinion that they didn't check anything mostly because all the relays were missing and the car wouldn't turn over. read more

My husband and I would highly recommend this towing and auto repair shop to anyone and everyone coming through twin Falls. Dan saved our entire trip as our brake rotors decided to give us major problems coming through the mountains from California on our way to Wyoming. My car broke down about 30 miles north of Wells, NV on my way to the Sawtooth mountains. Highway 30 sent a professional and extremely nice person (Tim) to tow my friends and me up to Twin Falls. They were as quick as I could hope for, and took my car to a local dealership (Goode's VW -- great people too) to get fixed. Tim was nice to chat with and helped us figure out a way to get to our final destination that night. My friends and I genuinely believe that without his help we would have been either stranded in Twin Falls for another day or would have spent much more time and money than we would have without his help. I was charged $85 in advance for service request and service representative showed up in a pick up truck when it was clearly explained service was for 39' rv with dual tires. When service representative saw that he was incapable of the service of the rv, he said he would need to charge another service fee and make another trip to handle repairs. This delayed my trip, wasted our time and WOULD NOT refund fees for ill prepared incapable service vehicle that was dispatched for the service requested. I don't know how they stay in business, is this area really this desperate for diesel size/rv service providers.....this was a service requested through my roadside assistance company, and now that I am reading the website of the actual service provider that was sent, I see how few and old the reviews they have "cherry picked" are and may need to be deleted from my roadside assistance company's contract list. read more

This is an excellent auto repair shop. I was traveling from California to South Dakota pulling an utility trailer. Our truck kept over heating. We were arriving in town on a Thursday evening after 5:00. I found the shop on Yelp and they have great ratings so I called about 4:30 and explained our issues. She was very kind and made us an appointment for the following morning at 8:00 am. We had planned on staying in Twin Falls that evening anyway, so that worked out. The following morning when I brought the truck in they helped me immediately, diagnosed the problems with in 30 mins. Then they called around to find the parts, our truck is a 2005 so it wasn't easy but they did it. I was going to Uber back to my hotel but the Manager offered to give me a ride. Our hotel was about 25 mins away. He suggested that we try for a late check out since they wouldn't be finished until about 1:30 or 2:00. He also offered that he would come back and pick our trailer and the four of us up and bring us to the shop to wait if we couldn't get the late check out. We did get the late check out. At 11:30 they called to tell us our truck was finished. We had walked to Target so he even came back and picked me up at Target to take me back to the car. The truck was fixed, he gave me the bad parts they removed and they charged me a lot less than I would have been charged in California. We completed our two week trip of over 3,000 miles without any additional problems. I cannot say enough about this shop. The staff was outstanding, helpful and very fair. The Manager went way beyond the norm to help us and he was extremely friendly. I wish this shop was in our hometown, I would give them all of our business. If you are ever traveling through Twin Falls and need any type of automotive help this is your shop. I wish I could give them more than 5 Stars. We got stuck just outside of twin falls headed home to salt lake with a dead transmission. Not only did the shop answer their phones on a Sunday, but they promptly came and towed the vehicle back to their shop for a reasonable tow cost. ($75) The next day they diagnosed the problem (transfer case) had a new one shipped to them and had the work completed by Wednesday afternoon. The initial price quoted for the repair was almost exactly what it came out to be. I was so satisfied with their professionalism, promptness and price quote that I had them install an exhaust I had ordered a few weeks back for a small cost as well. Although I hope no one ever gets stranded on I-84 the way we did (construction, etc.) I would strongly recommend you give these guys a call for all your repair needs. It's hard to find a good mechanic these days, but they are one I would use again! My suburban runs great, like the incident never happened. My wife and I were taking a road trip from California to Yellowstone when we broke down right off the 95 in Twin Falls. We had already found a room for the night, so we went to bed dreading what we were going to do the following day. In the morning, after some debate, we decided to call Highway 30 Garage. They responded immediately. Within 40 mins of the initial call they had us on our way to their shop. Everyone there, from the mechanic, to the tow truck driver, to receptionist were extremely friendly and quite hilarious. They had us back on our trip before 3 hours had passed. They were very fairly priced as well. We were able to stay on track for our trip thanks to this wonderful business. Would recommend 10/10 times. read more

My entire experience has been outrageous. Ive been lied to and was forced to pay out of pocket for the technician Shane's mistake. Who broke something while replacing another part in my car. This shop will take advantage of you, and over charge you for their mistakes. It took 10 business days for the work on my car to be finished. Communication is poor and there is no costumer service. I was yelled at in the shop by the owner when trying to explain I shouldn't be held responsible for someone else's mistake. The shop owner couldn't even provide me the diagnostic test results, and codes (required by law) that were pulled from their scanner. Also, Dan (owner) said he would take my car to the dealership to get it tested and show the dates the codes showed up. Guess what, I called the dealership and HW 30 garage didn't even contact them. I felt so unsure of this business I took my car to the dealership after the work they did and had it checked. This shop is shady, especially towards women. I will be disputing the charges and ultimately contacting my bank upon fraudulent activity. Do not come here. Even the work they did was poor. I had to tinker with some rubber mat on my steering shaft because it wasn't properly put back. And my car was filthy upon picking it! Mud and dirt all over the inside door panels and floor. read more

On a Sunday morning, I bent the tongue on my trailer. After talking with them from the highway, they called to make sure we found our way into town, then met us at the roadside to guide us into the shop. They had to pull the tongue off, do machine work on it, and reinstall. 2.5 hours later we were rolling down the highway. Fast, knowledgable, and reasonably priced. On Sunday no less. Today I had a problem with my Chevy Astro van. "Service engine soon" light started appearing on the board. The problem was extra difficult because the van is old (1988) and computer cannot recognize the root cause of the problem automatically. Also I needed to drive out of the city today. Thus I was not able to wait in the line. When I asked guys to help me, they were very friendly and well qualified. They helped me to find the root cause of my problem and they allowed me to avoid waiting for a long time in a line. I appreciate this very much, thanks a lot for this. I generally distrust auto repair places because I've definitely been burned before, but I have to say I was pretty impressed with this place. My husband's car broke down 20 miles out of town on the freeway and I called them to tow it to their garage to fix it. It was a flat bed tow with very reasonable prices and the quote I was given over the phone was true to what I ended up being charged. They fixed it in a timely manner and I felt like the price was pretty competitive for the job that was done. We ended up needing the fuel pump replaced which we were charged fairly for (compared to the research I did on the average price of the labor/parts.) They also ran a free diagnostic on the car to make sure nothing else was wrong. They did find another issue and gave me a quote for it (we were aware of the issue already and had talked to another shop who quoted us about half of what Highway 30 quoted us, but I don't think it was due to dishonesty, just a price difference) I let them know that we were aware of the issue and would have that taken care of elsewhere. They were understanding and didn't push us to get it taken care of there (which I greatly appreciated) Overall it was a good experience and I didn't walk out of there feeling like I'd been taken advantage of. Great staff, great service. Will definitely be using their services again. The only bummer is that they charge a 3% financing fee if you pay with a credit card so we used our debit account to save that money, but other than that no complaints! Thanks guys! read more

Our car broke down on the Utah/Idaho border and this was the only garage willing to help us on a Sunday. Dan was friendly and helpful, and helped us find a solution so that we could get back to WA in spite of our time and budget constraints. The price and time it took to fix were exactly as quoted, and we were able to get home the next day without any more trouble. I live in the Boise Valley area and was looking at a vehicle to purchase in Twin Falls. I always take any vehicle that I'm serious about purchasing to my mechanic before buying. I wasn't able to take the vehicle to our regular mechanic in Nampa so I googled auto mechanics in Twin Falls. This garage had great reviews and I called and spoke with them about the possibility of running a vehicle check on the auto I was interested in. Despite my best efforts I arrived in Twin about 10 minutes before Highway 30 Garage closed. I had to drive to the dealership and pick up the vehicle, then drive to the garage...no way to get that done before closing time. Highway 30 stayed open for me ~ someone they did not know who may never have the opportunity again to use them. When I arrived they had 2-3 mechanics looking at the vehicle for me to make sure it was in great condition should I choose to purchase it. Highway 30 Garage gets a full 5 stars!! GREAT customer service! And...I did purchase the vehicle which has run great so far. :) read more
