I recently decided to upgrade my security system since technology has come a long way in 10 years…read more California Security Cameras did the upgrade for me and the entire experience was exceptional from start to finish. A quality security system is truly invaluable when you consider the peace of mind it brings, and this is a company you can absolutely trust. The process began with excellent communication from the office before any work was even scheduled; they provided quotes in a timely manner that were easy to understand and fit perfectly within my budget. What impressed me most was that they use only quality equipment, and Israel took the time to review both what I needed and what I didn't need, which was equally important to me. Israel and his team can be counted on to show up right on schedule and complete the work in a timely manner. The installation itself is top-quality, with a lot of care going into strategic placement to ensure total coverage. Before any work started, Israel walked through the property with me and openly listened to my needs before deciding on the final camera placements. Additionally, they are respectful of your home and animals while working. they take care to close gates and doors when coming in and out which was important to me. Once the installation was complete, he tested the entire system, ensured all cameras were adjusted properly, and then personally went over how to use the system. I'm the type of person who asks a lot of questions about projects before, during, and after, and Israel and his team made sure that I fully understood everything before wrapping things up. If you are looking for a professional, reliable security team, I highly recommend California Security Cameras!

I read most of the Yelp reviews on AEC Alarms. Many reviews were extremely negative and all of them…read morewere very old. To be fair with AEC Alarms, I decided to submit my own reviews as a recent AEC customer. In year 2023, AEC installed two new fire alarms systems for my two SF buildings. I dealt with Yat-Cheong Au, who was professional and responsive. Including AEC, I had three vendor proposals, and AEC was the lowest one. I decided to go with AEC and my experience has been pleasant and positive. They installed the two fire alarm systems as promised and passed the building inspections. The monitoring service has been okay too. My two systems have been online for six months and the only service issue was one time the alarm was continuously beeping after a power outage. I called AEC service and they walked me through the system reset procedure. After that, no more service issues. If I have any updated information on the AEC fire alarm systems and their monitoring service, I will post my reviews here again.

We've been using this company for well over 10 years. Initially they were great but as time…read morepassed, their services diminished greatly. The alarm itself works (when in working order, of course); however, their service dept. is incredibly bad. We had issues with sensors and it would take days for a technician to come out and fix it. They told us the only way to arm it is to bypass that sensor (defeats the purpose of having sensors). We had service scheduled to come out 2 days later. The main reason for this review is because they canceled that service on us AND we were burglarized last night. The burglar ripped out the keypad. We called to let them know what happened, no sense of urgency on their end to help us. We are still waiting for them to call us back since their services department was not answering. Please go elsewhere as I am about to cancel my contract. There are much better services out there with comparable pricing.

I needed my home networking ethernet ports identified and fixed for my mesh WiFI backhaul (some of the terminations didn't work), as well as organized and label cables. Garry was able to do all of this in a relatively short amount of time. In addition, Garry was transparent and upfront - I thought I had Cat5e wiring to make use of the 1Gbps, but turns out I only had Cat5. Garry let me know and asked me if I wanted to continue doing the job, but gave me the option to not continue if this wasn't expected. I appreciate the transparency and honesty of contractors, so this was a huge plus. Also, Garry is just a super nice and friendly being. Honestly - friendly, honest, knowledgable contractors are a dime-a-dozen. Highly recommend QuickGenie!

A dignostic was done to determine and confirm the problem, and the diagnostic fee is applied to the total cost of the repair, if you choose to have QuickGenie service it. Gary confirmed that the problem was a dead CPU fan. I thought the estimate for parts and labor was fair and approved the repair, and the final cost did match the quote given to me. And the repair was well within the estimated timeframe as well Garry was helpful in answering questions, including questions outside the scope of the repair, and he went beyond by cleaning the keyboard surface and screen as well. Mich appreciated! The laptop has been running fine without any cooling issues, and I am very satisfied with the result.
