Good selection of food to try we had the steak and eggs then upgraded toast to pancakes. We also ordered the pork chop which was delicious so moist and flavorful the broccolinni was cooked perfect. The steak was a little undercooked for medium well and it didn't have much flavor to it but overall still a decent breakfast steak. My eggs where cooked to perfection which is rare to find a perfect over medium so kudos for that. The two reason this place is only 4 instead of 5 stars is they forgot about us and never texted us to let us know our table was ready and I had to ask them and our server took a really long time to refill water that was requested other than that food was good I'll be back again. read more

You walk in to bbq aroma and overall a beautiful bar / restaurant. We sat at the bar and had a very cool experience with Lindsay. She is a riot. three of us went to dinner at this cafe. It was a Saturday so yes we were told it would be a 15 minute wait, no big deal. We definitely gave the guy at the desk our name and phone number. After waiting about 15 minutes, we asked if we were called and was told our name was not on the list. We told the girl, who took his place, we gave our name but obviously he forgot to put us on the list. She was not friendly, had a bad attitude and tried to call us liars. She did seat us finally. My parents and I always have breakfast at the Good Times Cafe in the Morongo casino when we spend the night. We always ask to be seated in Samantha's area. She's awesome. She knows my dad's order by heart. Which is medium-well steak, scrambled eggs with pico de gallo on the side, well done hash browns and an English muffin. My mom and I have 3 choices usually. Denver omelette, steak & eggs, or bagel with cream cheese and lox. We always order a fruit platter before our breakfast entrees with coffees and water with lemons . No matter what you order here. Tried again...the place is nice. I always return to a place in hopes that I will like it, so I did It was one high on my "worst list". The waitress hung in there with me and didn't loose her composure and rewarded her well. Poor darling that she was up against me. The Mac and cheese was runny and cold, one bite and almost wanted to throw it in the kitchen. The salmon tasted old... didn't eat that, wouldn't even feed it to a wild animal. The bread pudding came out cold in spots.... that can happen when you microwave. Can it be that they have done this on purpose? And for an end to this story, a bent knife was for my dessert. The only reason I gave this place a one star is because the food is actually good. But EVERY single employee we have had a run in with is super rude and there seems to be this "I'll get to it when I get to it" mentality. The manager on the night shifts has watched the line grow to about 8-10 people strong and then she casualllllly strolls over and just stands at the front instead of rushing people in or taking orders or just simply reassigning the employees doing nothing in the back to come up to the front to help. Tonight we waited 55 minutes for a steak and the African American manager still was in the food line up and never even bothered to come over to pretend to be sorry about that ridiculous mishap. If she just runs food all night why doesn't she just become a food runner? This place needs way too much help from a management standpoint. Horrible management. People in the line literally were talking about why they're waiting when we can see clearly ahead 4-5 employees just messing around with each other and talking. When you ask the front where your food is, the girl with the red braids just said "I don't know" and walked away. Had the prime rib and fried shrimp special, and it was so good. The meat was perfect as I like it rare. The sides were equally great. The seasoning on the outside was so flavorful. I just wish there was some bread to dip into all that juice from my meat. My friends enjoy the salmon, and the veggie burgers. Our water cups were always being refilled and we had great service.
