Gong Cha just opened on the Danforth! Ordered the 3J grey milk tea and it was delicious! Their milk tea was tasty and their toppings were fresh. They currently have a grand opening special - buy one get one free on selected drinks. Check them out, totally worth it!

This Gong Cha location is located on the Danforth near Chester subway. The unique thing about Gong Cha is they have bubble waffle and very unique toppings other bubble places don't have. I got the lychee green tea with grass jelly and kanten jelly. Kanten jelly was a cross between coconut jelly in a circle shape like tapioca. So good! I also got the bubble waffle but ate it so fast I wasn't able to take a pic. It was light and crispy not that sweet, highly recommended. I got the original egg flavour but they have matcha and chocolate flavour too! Cute decor. Service was a bit slow but it's all students working there. I has gotten better since the last time I was there.

Gongcha recently opened up a new location at 451 Danforth! If you've never heard of Gongcha, their a bubble tea shop that started out in Taiwan and now have different stores in 20 countries. Their drinks are delicious and made with quality ingredients. ------ The Breakdown: Creme Brulee Strawberry Latte | 8.5/10 | $5.75 This drink was definitely on the sweeter side (70% sugar). Does anyone know if you can adjust the sugar for this drink? The top is covered with creme brulee and as you go down, you taste creaminess and then get hit with the sweetness of strawberry Earl Grey Milk Tea with 3J | 7/10 | $5.20+ Comes with pudding, tapioca and grass jelly toppings. This drink was not as flavourful with the tea as I expected. Wish there was more flavour. Their doing a Buy One Get One (BOGO) deal which is going on till October 14 (Friday). I've been here on several occasions and I would rate it a 3.5/5 stars!! I have tried the following items: 1) Matcha Mango with kanten jelly (50% sugar, regular ice) = 9/10 2) Strawberry crème brulee latte with pearls (50% sugar, regular ice) = 7.5/10 3) Strawberry chocolate latte (50% sugar, regular ice) = 7/10 4) Strawberry Chocolate Green Tea Latte (50% sugar regular ice) = 7/10 5) Milk Tea croffle = 8/10 6) crème brulee croffle = 8.5/10 I loved the matcha mango with kanten jelly, I thought it had the perfect balance of sweetness from the mango and bitterness from the matcha. But I will admit, I am a huge matcha fan so anything with matcha pretty much makes me fall in love haha. The strawberry crème brulee latte was good, I would say it tasted like a fancy strawberry milkshake or a strawberry pokey in liquid form. I'm not really a fan of strawberry flavoured drinks, but the crème brulee on top really pulled the drink together for me! I found the drink to be quite warm for a regular level ice. It appeared to barely have any ice which ruined the taste of the drink for me a bit because I like my bubble tea to be ice cold. For that same reason, I also did not enjoy the strawberry chocolate latte and the strawberry chocolate green tea latte as much as I expected to. I found these drinks to be more on the warm side as well and the taste was not what I expected. The chocolate strawberry latte was very basic, nothing special and I definitely felt like I was catfished by the menu image. To me, it tasted and looked like they combined strawberry milk and chocolate milk together in a cup. I would probably only recommend this drink if you're not a fan of typical boba milk tea flavours. Meanwhile the strawberry chocolate green tea latte had a very strong floral taste and fragrance that I found overpowered the drink. I would recommend this drink to those who enjoy a strong floral taste in their drink. The drinks also seemed a bit bland without toppings so if you do order these drinks make sure you add some jelly or pearls! As for the croffles, I quite enjoyed them! I loved the creme brulee croffle, it was my favourite! The sauce was creamy and tasted exactly like a crème brulee! The milk tea one was also good. I loved that I had a bit of tapioca pearl in each bit! Both croffles had a delicious flaky exterior and a soft pastry inside. A perfect snack to go with your drinks! Although, I would recommend getting 50% or less sugar in your drinks if you're ordering a croffle as well so you are able to probably enjoy the flavours of both! I would recommend coming here for their croffles! Also, the employees were super nice and hospitable, but their service was a bit slow and takes a while for you to receive your drinks. All in all, it was a good experience! They do have many unique drink choices which is always good! I would definitely come back again for their croffles!

Can work on customer service. She still got all our orders wrong. Won't be coming back to this place.

Small bubbletea shop that also serves pastries and Filipino meals…read more Their standout offering, of course, is the bubbletea. The tea is loose-leaf, so is elevated from the typical bubbletea. But it's the tapioca that really makes the drink shine with how fresh and bouncy they are. For a tea shop, this place also has really good food. Tried the scones and they were super buttery, very flavourful, and were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside like all great scones. We also got some Filipino meals - the lechon kawali and lumpia super crispy, the bangsilog had a good portion size for the price, and the halo-halo was refreshing. Place is mainly a takeout spot, but there are a couple of small tables to sit 4. Service is friendly. Tea offerings are extensive. Worth a drop-by.

Walking in, there's a great amount of cakes, cookies, and drinks. Cookies: The matcha white chocolate cookie was freshly made. Quite soft and delicious. Reasonably sized cookie. Yema cake: It was my first time having the Yema cake so I was looking forward to try it. I got the ube flavour and a soft chiffon cake texture. It wasn't too sweet and was perfect for a nice small dessert. The staff were friendly and the service was good. It's too bad there's limited seating as it would be great to dine-in. I definitely want to come back to try out their drinks!
