Strawberry Matcha Latte
Fateha A.

3/5 Strawberry matcha with whole milk and peach star jelly ($7.25). Too sweet, too much strawberry, barely any matcha. Sugar unadjustable.

Close to home and accepts credit cards! They also have loyalty card stamps. After 5 you get 50% off and after 10 it's free. The workers are always nice and the place is always clean. This bubble tea place isn't my favorite one but it's the most convenient. The choices aren't as flavorful as other spots.

About the amount of red bean in it
Jenny J.

3.5/5. Rounded up because of the stamp card, which the cashier said can be used at any location?? (I will test this out soon!) My go-to order at KFT and Vivi's is red bean + bubbles + milk combination. Gong Cha doesn't have it, but when I asked how much that would be, the cashier said $4.36 ($4 including tax). Not bad. However, I thought I might as well follow their menu and therefore ordered the Matcha Milk Tea with Red Bean, which came out to $4.63 (including tax) but no bubbles in it :( . I used to think Gong Cha was slightly cheaper, but uh guess not and the size, combined with taste weren't worth. Near this Gong Cha is two Coco's on Roosevelt Ave and a KFT on a different street, and I'm going to go to those instead next time.

Taro Milk tea
X P.

First time here, I got the Taro Milk tea. I first noticed the tea was a bit more expensive. Like other areas charge around four dollars something for a medium size with bubbles. Here they charged over five dollars but I didn't mind because I see this place in videos online and everywhere so it must be worth it. The first thought that came to mind when I drank it was that the consistency was creamier than the other places. The taro element was more faint as the milky flavor overrode it. Wasn't a big fan of that but overall I could see why this place is so successful. The bubbles were definitely the smoothest I had in a bubble tea. The drink almost felt like I was eating a dessert like a nougat bar not drinking tea. That's how rich it was , overall it was good, and what I expected going in.

One of my favorite Milk tea spots. Their boba is definitely the best. Never disappoints!

Passionfruit tasted like sugar and water

I had a terrible experience here the other day. I ordered online for pick up. They screwed up my order of green milk tea with plain milk tea & the passionfruit tasted like sugar. I had my husband pick it up. he had no idea it was pre-paid & the charged him also. We got double billed!

I will never buy gongcha from any flushing store none of their worker will shake the syrup while I hv a milk foam on top. It tastes nasty.

I love Gong Cha because they use real tea. They were also one of the first ones to come up with milk foam which everyone else copies nowadays. Really like their strawberry milk tea. SO GOOD.

This is a new store on Union and currently offering Buy one, get one free of Milk Foam Tea and Pearl Milk Tea. Interesting variety of Tea flavors and topping has distinguished Gong Cha from other bubble tea places. My personal favorite is Milk Foam with Wintermelon Tea with less ice, 50% sugar. It is like condensed milk cream...so yummy. I have found that it tastes best when you peel the cover off because you get the most flavor of creamy milk with slight salty flavor from the top then mixed with tea.

I stumble upon this teahouse this morning on my way to finding T-Swirl Crepe. Haha...funny story. So the T-Swirl Crepe stand sign was outside this established so when I went in I was like "what the hell, Gong Cha...ummmm I am in the wrong place." But of course not wanting to look stupid and walk right out I decided to look at their menu and order a drink. Let me tell you, I am glad I did and also glad I accidentally stumble into this newly open place cause their drink is AWESOME! I ordered the Hot Foaming Milk Green Tea with 50% sugar and extra foam (Tip : check in on yelp and you get a free extra foam for any foaming milk drink). My drink was delicious with just the right sweetness. I am not sure about the other drinks but if you are a green tea lover like me, this drink will not disappoint. The second thing I love about their drinks is the lid for the cups. Unique plastic reusable lids with safety opening that you can save. What a bonus! Will be saving my lid to use with other cups...hahaha... Another tip, not sure if it's a promotion or ongoing thing but they have a special that if you buy one drink you get any second drink for 50% off.

Clean shop and i always get my order promptly. i appreciate that they have a loyalty card. And just like a lot of places now you can customize the level of sweetness and ice. My usual drink is the 3 Js. Milk tea with boba, grass jelly and pudding. They accept credit cards. This basically checks all my boxes for a place that i want to frequent.

I love Bubble teas!! This is a nice place, service is good and the best thing, there's no limit for debit or credit cards. You can also order your drinks online in flushing food.com. I went there and they gave me their stamp card.

Every time comes out different, this time they put too much milk. I think they randomly make this without following the formula ! Terrible!!

Disappointed that they were out of coconut jelly and a lot of other toppings. They put a note on…read morethe kiosk "no boba". I didn't know that meant other toppings as well. I got the passion fruit green tea and mango coconut. Both were actually very delicious. The staff was super apologetic for the lack of toppings and felt bad I didn't want to substitute the coconut jelly. I honestly just wanted something refreshing and it did the trick. This spot is small, but they have spots to sit and WiFi which is really good to know. Not a bad addition to this part of Northern. I think I officially like Gong Cha.

Call us boba tea connoisseurs (and we are), but we have such a 'love and less love' relationship…read morewith Gong Cha, as with several other similar chains. The bottom line is that very few boba tea shops focus on a truly great brew. This is not surprising but still disappointing, because I'm aware that the vast majority of customers buy flavoured beverages rather than freshly brewed teas. What I liked about this particular location was the ease of touch screen ordering right in front of the person filling the order. I personally order in person much more frequently, but can't deny the convenience and definitely see the pros. Ultimately, their green tea was bland, and the decent boba couldn't quite make up for that. Still, it wasn't much better or worse than other Gong Cha locations or similar chains. I hope they continue to improve.

I feel like they're definitely known…read morefor their fruit teas and I was going to try the mango pomelo sago for that reason, but I ended up settling on the premium jasmine tea latte because I was craving some milk tea atm. And it was delicious!! The tea taste was very strong, and 30% sugar was a perfect kick of sweetness. I might be tripping but there were hints of orange flavor in this, I'm not sure if they added some to their tea but it was amazing and floral and fragrant. We went on a Saturday afternoon and it was definitely busy. It took around 20 minutes to order and get my drink. Very limited seating inside so don't plan to drink your tea in there. I'm gonna come back to try their fruit drinks :)
