I have been playing golf for over 25 years, I have taken numerous amount of lessons thru out the years, including going to a golf academy as far as SC Hilton Head in an effort to better my handicap and be consistent to enjoy the game. Jay is 100% the real deal. I've had many years of bad habits that always lead to frustrating and very inconsistent rounds. How do you correct what you don't know? There's no "just keep your head down" BS you hear at the range from the local instructors. Jay breaks down the swing to a science and provides the knowledge necessary to correct mistakes. My game has been off the rails the past 2 years. I tried 4 or 5 of the golf course pros at my club, all of who videoed me, but each had a different solution to my specific issues. I am 66 years old and have golfed since I was a kid...never too seriously and never too well. I have been to about 5-6 instructors over those years, none helped. I initially found Jay Lim and Golf Code 360 through Yelp and other online reviews. You will be hard pressed to find a SINGLE review below 5 stars. I could barely hit the ball when I initially met Jay in late June. Fast Forward 10 lessons later, I'm hitting my driver over 300 yards and my irons are consistently going straight. Just took my first Real Golf Lesson with Jay all I can say is im ecstatic and excited to work with him for the rest of my golfing days!...I been trying to play golf and break 100 for about a year now. I have took Lessons before with other "PGA" coaches and got absolutely nothing except a empty wallet...A little about myself in golf is I swing hard. I could hit driver once in a great while 300+ yards. But I have no consistency in direction and good ball striking contact. Before even hitting a ball Jay had in mind what was wrong. Golf was a complete mystery until I met Jay Lim. Some days I would shoot 99, some days 90...sound familiar? I would never be able to truly figure out why. Same for the driving range. Some practices would be amazing, others would be full of slices, shanks and other fun...without any thought process as to the answer. I've been playing for 4 years. And after the first lesson with Jay, the game finally started to make sense. He finally made the process seem crystal clear. I had another local teacher a few years back, that did more harm than good it seemed like. I've struggled since taking up golf in 2012 and have been to a variety of instructors over time with lackluster results. In desperation, I even wasted a couple of years focusing on the single plane method. Nothing really worked or stuck for me. While I enjoyed golf, it was frustrating to average 110+ when my regular golf buddies shot in the 100s, 90s, then 80s as they improved.
