The house is very small and outdated but generally has everything you would need to enjoy your stay, they customer service people at bluebird seem to be very helpful.

My son has a 19-month-old and a 2-month-old. The home rented was a 3 bedroom and 2 story home. There is only 1 HVAC controller downstairs in the living room. The upstairs was hot as compared to the downstairs. Bend, OR was experiencing smokie days during this time. The smoke was lingering in the house and did not seem to be conditioned, or even moving. The only air coming out of the upstairs registers was just moving the smoke down around the baby. My son went out and purchased $1,000 of air purifiers to help. Without these, the home would have been uninhabitable and they would have to leave it. The air purifiers were hard to find as all places were sold out of them. Everyone in Bend seemed to have purchased any and all purifiers everywhere. When getting them in the house, right away one of them read 164. Not a good thing for a baby or anyone. Then I suggested looking at the HVAC filters. To my surprise and horror, the filters were turned over instead of new ones installed, as if someone thought that they could filter from both sides. The arrow was pointing in the wrong direction for airflow. This put the extremely dirty side from the past several months on the top and on the side where the HVAC handler is, meaning it was blowing dirt through the system and into the rooms. In addition, the other side was so filthy that there was no way anything was being filtered. This is why the smoke was lingering in the house and the differences in the temp. BlueBird Day lied and stated they had replaced them before my son arrived. I have never seen this kind of thing happen. We put new air filters in that we went and bought and then everything got much better. The air was then filtered, the flow was good, the air quality in the home was much better, and the temperatures were synced up. My son attempted to resolve these issues with BlueBird but they were horrible in regards to assisting him. He asked for a partial refund for putting his children in danger and they refused. AirBnB did assist a little with this, but not much. I would NOT ever rent from BlueBird Day. I can't believe how badly they treat their guests. They have no concern for the safety of children and were not compassionate in any regard.

The second day we were there the smoke detectors went off warn us that they needed batteries. I called the Bennington office and in less than an hour our problem was fixed! Best of all we had to leave early on our last day and I left my bank bag with over $500.00 cash in it beside the bed in the small dresser.When we go home and everything unpacked no money bag.I sent a text that next morning to the housecleaning crew and asked them to check and see if was there. I left them all my information and they called me and said it was there and they put it in the mail for me. I offered them $100.00 to buy some pizzas for the crew and they said they appreciated the offer but couldn't do that. My happiness is all they needed. We spent three nights at the Lodge at Baker Pond, which is located just a few miles from Bend,…read moreOregon. There were 13 of us plus a toddler staying there and there was more than enough room for all. The property is every bit as nice as advertised. We rowed around Baker Pond, enjoyed the hot tub, toasted marshmallows at the fire pit, and cooked meals in the kitchens - yes, there are two of them. Baker Pond teems with wildlife and it is a joy to just sit and watch the birds and fish and insects interact among the reeds & listen to the annoying (not to me) frogs at night. The several pantries were very well stocked with more items than one would have expected. Our toddler grand son, had so much fun, and the wire fence/gate was the perfect height for him, to not get too close to the water! (I think he also got a tiny bit of a finger shock, while touching the gate/light wires, since he removed his fingers so fast with big eyes and open mouth!) Our guests reported a few complaints: The microwave in the main kitchen worked erratically and should be replaced - fortunately, there was a spare in the second kitchen; there was a weird smell in the upstairs bathroom; the garage bathroom ran out of hot water for showers; in the bathroom closest to the main living area, the sink faucet location causes the area around it to be sopping wet and the sliding shower door was out of its groove. Those problems are all correctable and don't prevent me from highly recommending a stay there. I couldn't figure out how to use the shower, so I bathed with washcloth & water! The walk, more like a tiny hike to the arbor, in your Sunday's best outfit/shoes were too awkward, but we managed! (Hint: Add a flat walking area to the arbor or a small dock for a boat to the arbor?) Our stay here was in the 70's, and my perfect weather to be outdoors or being on a boat by myself. Check-in and check-out were easy, the employee I spoke with on the phone (a few weeks ahead of time when I had a question) was friendly and helpful, and the cabin was clean and quiet. For one person I would say the cabins are a perfect fit. They have a tiny home feel to them which might feel a little close for two people unless those two people really like each other. There's a well-maintained lawn and gazebo as well as chairs on the cabin deck which help things feel more spacious. I had a quiet night of solid sleep and woke up to a stunning sunrise. Being able to park right beside the cabin added to the feeling of safety. My one and only reason for four rather than five stars is the "no dogs on the bed or chairs" policy which I didn't see stated anywhere on their site while booking. The dog fee itself is extremely reasonable and I am grateful that they even allowed dogs to begin with but it was a rule that would have been nice to know ahead of time. Overall, I would definitely recommend CRRC to anyone visiting the Terrebonne area!

My circumstances unfortunately changed and I requested to change my dates. The dates I requested were listed as cheaper. So when they denied my request, I offered to my inflated price (hundreds of dollars more) for the later dates. Again, denied. Their solution was to have me cancel my reservation on AirBnb. Then message them, to let them know I had successfully canceled, so that they can "keep an eye out" on the dates. Their offering to me was if anyone decides to book the dates, I would be "eligible" for something. Their exasperated and increasingly vapid denial to work with me at all, or to clearly outline what, if any amount of money I would get back left me feeling like they were trying to take advantage of my situation. It was the worst. Spare yourselves, avoid Bend Riverside Rentals. I found that their website does not have their cancelation policies listed (even when completing the reservation process), so save yourself from what I went through and get it in clear writing what they are planning to withhold from you - then decide if you still want to go through with your reservation. BE ADVISED: On AirBnb they list their properties from Troy. Bend Riverside Rentals is not written anywhere on their listings. I did get an automated confirmation email with Bend Riverside Rentals listed as their LLC after booking, so keep an eye out while they're still being upfront about that. BE ADVISED: their team of 'representatives' is wordy, condescending and passive aggressive. They are not going to listen to you. They do not care what your circumstances are. They WILL keep your money, and they will talk down to you while they do it.

I loved how clean and tidy this vacation spot is. If you are traveling with just a friend or spouse it's the perfect place. The owners provide bikes for cruising around down town Bend. I need to mention the owners are very accommodating and live close if anything is needed. I hope everyone that stays here has a enjoyable stay and my husband and I have.
