I love this location. I didn't drive my car the whole stay because we walked all over and I love the balcony overlooking the River. Check in was SO easy, not sure why all places can't make it that easy. Well accommodated unit. Only reason not a 5 star is the beds are not comfortable IMHO and there were no blankets. Certainly not deal breaker for me, next time I would bring a blanket and maybe a better pillow or something. I expect to come back because this is hard to beat. read more

Then would not answer any communication after. Had to do a chargeback with credit card and took months to get over $1k back. Unit (201) we were in had no carpets, was clean and we loved many things about it. BUT they allow smoking in the rentals. Decks, etc. No prohibitions. Guy in 212/213 above us-we couldn't use our deck. If that is a dealbreaker for you, move on. read more

BE AWARE: this company will take advantage of you by whatever means available to them. I booked a couple night stay with them on AirBnb. My circumstances unfortunately changed and I requested to change my dates. The dates I requested were listed as cheaper. So when they denied my request, I offered to my inflated price (hundreds of dollars more) for the later dates. Again, denied. Their solution was to have me cancel my reservation on AirBnb. Then message them, to let them know I had successfully canceled, so that they can "keep an eye out" on the dates. Their offering to me was if anyone decides to book the dates, I would be "eligible" for something. Their exasperated and increasingly vapid denial to work with me at all, or to clearly outline what, if any amount of money I would get back left me feeling like they were trying to take advantage of my situation. It was the worst. Spare yourselves, avoid Bend Riverside Rentals. I found that their website does not have their cancelation policies listed (even when completing the reservation process), so save yourself from what I went through and get it in clear writing what they are planning to withhold from you - then decide if you still want to go through with your reservation. BE ADVISED: On AirBnb they list their properties from Troy. Bend Riverside Rentals is not written anywhere on their listings. I did get an automated confirmation email with Bend Riverside Rentals listed as their LLC after booking, so keep an eye out while they're still being upfront about that. BE ADVISED: their team of 'representatives' is wordy, condescending and passive aggressive. They are not going to listen to you. They do not care what your circumstances are. They WILL keep your money, and they will talk down to you while they do it. read more

This place doesn't even deserve 1 star. I stayed in late 2024. Had a terrible experience. Complained to management to no avail. I just received an email from the business trying to solicit more business from me. When I asked if they were joking, and then described the experience all over again, all I got was a "Thank you for your feedback. We'll be sure to pass along your comments to management." Insane. I have traveled and been in the hospitality industry for years and have never dealt with the most inhospitable company ever. First, this is NOT a 5-star hotel like it says. Encore in Boston is 5-star and was incredible. I only paid $300 a night and was treated like a queen. This place is possibly a 2-star, right above Motel 6. But even Motel 6 has cleaner floors. Yet for 2 nights I paid $576 total. Second, the towels were dirty, the floors were disgusting (I never took off my shoes), the door knob to the outside door was almost falling off ( I did complain and they fixed it halfway through the next day) and there was a huge stain on my comforter (I didn't even use it). For as much money as they charge, they can take out the nasty carpets and put in vinyl and use area rugs. They had a coffee maker that didn't work with sugar but no coffee except 3 K-cups that you can't use? Third, the location is probably the best part but honestly, it was so loud! I had to turn up the TV to max to drown out the roaring rapids. It was pretty to look at though. The worst thing about this business is the fact they don't have a clue how to run a hospitality business. I originally reserved a month ahead for my daughter's 30th birthday and a week before, we had a personal situation and we had to cancel. So I thought. On my part, I didn't read the refund policy but this was an unforeseen manner. When I went to cancel on Airbnb on the Sunday before, because of the inflexible policy, they would only give back $298. I was shocked and didn't understand why anyone would take money that they didn't work for so I requested a full refund. The host responded the next day with a choice, make an insurance claim or rebook immediately. Looking back maybe I should have thought longer on this decision but I was going through a lot and wasn't in the state of mind to know when to rebook. They denied my request. I tried with Airbnb and they had the nerve to say it was a personal problem. Duh! Airbnb left it up to the host who already denied my request. So I was going to take the loss of $222 and went to cancel again but then I was given a total of $135 I would get refunded because I waited the extra day to get the host to refund the whole thing. I cried. My life was already in distress and now this. Taking my hard earned money for their greedy gain. So I didn't cancel. I couldn't. It was too much money to just give them for free. I went alone because unfortunately my daughter was unable to go. The whole trip was ruined by greedy people. In hindsight, if we were able to have a moment to fix our situation, I would have rescheduled the trip and out of loyalty for a business that showed customer care, I would have told everyone about them and made all our trips to Bend with them. Since that was not the case and they obviously need to take people's money they didn't deserve to have, I'm here writing this but also I am a hairdresser that talks to hundreds of people a week. I have a business and I am a buyer for that business which brings me to different places like Bend to source products, I will never give your company another dime. Since my daughter was once a professional model and is now in the service industry, she will never recommend your business to her thousands of followers. Since I am an extrovert and a natural networker, I have already told many people about how awful your company is. Since I am a huge advocate for the LGBTQ+ community, they will know about your company. And once I figure out how to work Tiktok, I have plenty of videos to show off your sad rooms that you charge over $150 a night on Airbnb with a $85 cleaning fee and a $56 animal fee but on Google you advertise $69 a night and of course your made up 5-star rating. Talk about false advertisements. Troy has 62 rooms on Airbnb and none of them are rated highly. So I'm not the first person to think this company is a scam! You're better off down the street at Dune Motel. read more

It's unclear to me why the Yelp reviews don't reflect the experience? As someone that is frequently gifted with a wonderful retreat ,I can't think of a better place to be. Interactions with this place and its people are inspiring. Let me offer some examples.At night. My wife will not let me close the door because she wants to hear the sound of the river. There are woodchuck that run around on the rocks. I have frequently invited family and friends to spend time at Bend Riverside Rentals, we've been able to create some wonderful memories. Don't get me wrong, the location is great. Easy access to pioneer park/river trail. But if you are looking for privacy, this is not the place. Walls are very thin and can hear conversations being had/tv/music in the rooms surrounding you. Rooms are outdated and the laundry machines are often out of order. The pool and hot tub are a nice amenity, but aren't well maintained and often out of order as well. HOA isn't very helpful and management/maintenance could approve. Overall, if you are a long term renter, I would recommend looking elsewhere. Bend is small, and getting to nice parks is easy. The day to day headache of this place is not worth the money. read more

There is no better location in Bend. Next to the river and pioneer park plus a great trail system. Easy walk to downtown, many restaurants and places to shop. Some units are pet friendly. If traveling with a k-9 member of your family they will feel like they are on vacation too. For full disclosure I liked it so much I bought one. When reading reviews look at the date. My wife and I stayed in a well apportioned ground floor unit for two days. The location was great. Unfortunately the dishwasher, the heating and cooling systems and the bathtubs/showers all did not work. We reached out to management who said they'd be over right away to work on the showers. Unfortunately no one showed up and it was now check out time. After we left we were informed that maintenance came by after our check out time and the showers were working fine we just did not know how to use them. Please. No water was coming out whatsoever. We do not appreciate being gaslit. We are easy to please people and were not upset just disappointed. We hoped maybe we would be apologized to and perhaps given another free night to use in the future or at least another unit to shower in. Instead we were disrespected. I'm sure many of their other units are in fine working condition but buyer beware if you ever have to deal with their customer service team. read more
