Unfortunately the most recent experience with this business was very disappointing. Ordered 2 combo meals for 2 people and after a short time the other person began to experience signs and symptoms of food poisoning. I was concerned and gave them a call to let them know. After an initial conversation with a man he grew increasingly frustrated and agitated & would not let me finish what I was saying. I asked for a refund on my order and he told me I could come in and do it but his response was enough that I didn't feel comfortable with that. I wish I could give this a better rating, but alas, I was super disappointed in this Chinese cuisine. I ordered the pork in garlic sauce lunch special and an appetizer of crab meat Rangoon. For $6, I expected my wontons to have a sufficient amount of filling inside, instead it was all fried wonton, no filling, I ended up throwing half a bag of wonton scraps away. Also I ordered my lunch special with no onions, and low and behold onions were all in the rice. And there was a lot of that said rice, I barely saw any of the entree in the container. I will say the garlic sauce was flavorful for the little bit I had, just the right amount of heat ! I won't be back to order again through door dash though.... The Golden age of Wok was fantastic. You had the Beatles and the Wolling Stones. Jimmy Page and Wobert Plant too. And everywone had speech impediments and weading disowders. I wemember it well. This place is named after the Golden age of Wok. What to get: Shrimp Curry (extra Spicy), Crab Rangoon. What not to get: Stuck between a Wok and a hard place. With all of these amazing home-style Chinese restaurants making real Chinese food, I pretty much never go anywhere that doesn't have home style food anymore. However. There is one exception. Golden Wok makes one of the best shrimp curries I've ever had. It's absolutely packed full of onions and the spice flavour is perfect. It's nice and wet and they give a massive generous portion of shrimp. It's annoying that they don't do a half portion but for $10 here you will get two meals worth of luscious shrimp Curry and I cannot argue with that. They also make the best crab rangoons in town which are another item that is not at all authentic but if you like that stuff this is the only place to come and get them. Bear in mind, it's not REAL Chinese food, it's Americanized. And some of the dishes aren't great, some of the service isn't great, it's not healthy, the Crab Rangoons are overdone and better at Gin Gin, and I hate that they won't do a small portion or lunch special of Curry Shrimp for me. Other than ALL that, it still gets a 5 just for the one dish I love. Now it's time to Rock out with your Wok out. read more

Best Chinese in the area! I've been coming here since I was a child, and have never had a bad meal. Their food is fresh, hot, and ready for pickup in 10 minutes. They also offer delivery. Their lunch special/combination dinners are well worth it. It comes with fried rice and an egg roll. The general Tsos, beef and broccoli, garlic chicken, and spicy chicken with peanuts are some of my favorites. The crab Rangoon is very good too! My go to is the general tsos lunch special which unlike a lot of places not only gets you rice and entree but either a drink or soup. This place has lots of mixed reviews, but I wanted to give it a chance. I was really hoping to like this place but after trying it last night I have major regrets. I was starving and had no food in my house. It was pouring and I didn't feel like driving to get something so I opted for delivery. I got the general tso combination platter, which comes with fried rice and an egg role, and I ordered a small hot and sour soup. I started with the soup which had plenty of whole mushrooms in it. It was much darker than the soup I usually get elsewhere and didn't have as much tofu or other ingredients besides for the large mushrooms. It also had a thicker broth with this sweet flavor to it and wasn't very spicy (I was v disappointed bc I like a KICK). I then tried the general tso chicken ... Similar to the soup it had a weird sweet taste to it and wasn't very spicy. The sauce was also very thick and almost gelatin like (which you can see in my pics) and the rice was very bland. My favorite takeout restaurant for Chinese in buffalo. I can't do onions, and they make sure when I note that to not cook or have my food near any. Friendly customer service; masks and gloves on during cooking and taking your order. Reasonable cooking times even with covid going on. Only thing to be mindful of is I think there is a minimum of 8$ to use a card, easily taken by a large fried rice and order of the sugar donut deserts. Very good food.
