I always get a "small" golden salad. It has Chicken, bacon, eggs, olives and feta. The small is enough food for two meals I love their creamy Italian and the garlic bread that comes with the salad. We didn't call them and complain two weeks ago when they delivered a pizza that was way overcooked. The crust was inedible, hard as a rock. We figured they were having a bad day because we'd ordered from them a couple times before and it was fine. Then TODAY, they delivered us a pizza made incorrectly\ wrong toppings, and the owner told his employees to give us a SMALL pizza in place of the PARTY SIZED pizza we paid for! Crooks. They said we'd already started eating the pizza. Well, yes, we did-- we started eating it and said, hey, this NOT what we ordered, and we immediately called them. We ASKED them if they wanted the pizza back, they said "NO." Once they take your money, the owner won't even get on the phone . Bad business, don't deal with them, unless you feel like throwing your $30 out the window for something you don't want. read more

Wasn't impressed with the food. It took 40 minutes when I was told 20. Not to mention the gyro wasn't on a real pita bread, was bland and just not good. On top of it I was corrected on how to say gyro... I'm Greek I think I know how to say gyro it's (yee-ro) not (g-I-ro). The Buffalo Chicken was basically boiled meat covered in hot sauce. If I'm pay 50$ for food it should be some what good. The pizza was half baked, the fries cold and the eggplant parmesan was smush it's clear they use frozen food but at least their salad was decent... I order sporadically from time to time...I was in the mood for Pizza...but I was tired of pepperoni and cheese pizza..I wanted something different...I decided to get the "Chicken wing pizza" mild...I got it, brought it home...ate it...it was amazing...So good!! If you like Pizza and wings? Combine them..you won't be sorry!! So good!! Tucked away in a corner near far bigger and more recognizable restaurant chains is this tiny, understated store-front for a simple mom 'n pop pizza shop with the most delicious pizza I've had in years! I don't even like pizza very much, but I went out of my easy tonight to try them out again. My first visit was during the long power-outage after the freak massive-snowstorm of October 2011... and they were one of the few restaurants still running. My co-workers were talking about this place so we decided to give it a try. Even though you think Chinese food when you first hear "golden", I can assure you it is not and they have delicious pizza. We ordered cheese and one of the chicken Florentine. Both were very delicious. They cut it into nice thin slices (which was perfect) and I loved that the pizza was not greasy. I've been ordering from Golden for close to 7 years now. I prefer pickup as my past experiences with delivery have been quite lengthy. The pizza is wonderful. However, they don't use a lot of sauce. I don't mind, as this is my preference, however, some may. My favorite menu item is a grilled chicken pita pocket. Their pita pockets are home made and are very very good. Good steak fries. Kind of pricy for a pizza joint but worth the quality IMO. read more

I stopped in for a grinder and wanted pay with my debit card, I was told there would be a surcharge of $0.58 for using it (give or take a few cents). This is against the law in Mass. I will not only stop patronage to this establishment, I will be reporting this to the chamber of commerce. Law reference below. "Section 28A Section 28A: Cardholder discounts; surcharges; finance charge Section 28A. (a)(1) With respect to a credit card which may be used for extensions of credit in sales transactions in which the seller is a person other than the card issuer, the card issuer may not, by contract or otherwise, prohibit any such seller from offering a discount to a cardholder to induce the cardholder to pay cash, check or similar means rather than use a credit card. (2) No seller in any sales transaction may impose a surcharge on a cardholder who elects to use a credit card in lieu of payment by cash, check or similar means. I have been ordering from golden pizza for years about 2 to 3 times a month I went to order a party size pizza from them and they over charged me. I called back after calculating everything not to mention the girl I spoke with told me that they aren't delivering until 12:45 which was fine but when I called at 11:45 to explain the amount was not right and I wanted to cancel they told me they already made the pizza, I asked were they going to let it sit there until 12:45 they said no they were going to send it early which was fine to but the amount they were trying to charge was over price of what I was calculating so anyway the owner came on the phone and started yelling at me because I cancelled and the pizza was done which to my recollection wasn't supposed to be until 12:45 so I thought I cancelled in time mind you I wasn't yelling at him at all but he was yelling at me and telling me I cant order from his business again talk about bad customer service. and the dispute was over a lowsy $1.22 over charge and this is how it went if you calculate it up the deal was 19.99 okay then add in .05 cent bottle deposit plus 6.25% for tax which equals 21.29 then add in 1.00 delivery charge equals 22.29 and .59 cents for using my debit card equals 22.88 how does that equal 24.10 that they were trying to charge me. it don't. and I also got banned for life from ordering there just because I called them out so please check your receipts to make sure there not overcharging you. will be doing my business elsewhere. read more
