This place is hmmmmm, strange. I love the old nostalgia look. If they put water in the fountain and reopened the bar this place would be so cool. Being veg it's hard to review, the tofu they call it bean curd is good.. The hot sour soup they told me it was veg then the next time it wasn't. Small town stuff. It's dirt Cheep. And they have beer. After moving to Conyers and leaving my favorite Chinese restaurant behind, I thought I'd never find another place as good. I'm so glad that I found Golden Palace though, because their food is excellent and maybe even a little better than my old favorite. I've never eaten in their restaurant (though I love the retro look and would like to sometime), but I order takeout from them at least once a month and am never disappointed. Delivery is quick, they've never gotten my order wrong, prices are reasonable, and you get a done of food! They also have a lot of promo deals through Grubhub, which is nice if you order from them frequently. read more

Horrible! First they did not deliver the beverage I ordered and then said they would give me a discount when I order next time. THERE WILL NOT BE A NEXT TIME! Food was cold, tasted horrible; all I could taste was garlic and oil. Left a greasy after-taste/film in my mouth. Even after brushing teeth and using mouth wash I still cannot get rid of that nasty taste in my mouth. Fried rice was "two-toned" meaning they didn't even mix it with the sauce correctly. We went and no cars in parking lot. Went inside very plain and no longer do buffet. But the food was awesome and service was also. The food is cooked when ordered and is hot. Looks like a hole in the wall place but those are usually the best and they mostly do take out. read more

Delivery was quick and the price is very reasonable considering the amount of food you get. The food has been really delicious so far. The give you a good amount of food and it's cooked properly and always still hot. I liked the General Tso's chicken just would've been better if the size of the chicken was bigger but the sauce was really tasty. I placed a delivery order on Yelp. I received a return phone call within minutes to verify my order. I had ordered the pepper steak with onions and the house chow mein, the lady made sure I knew that the chow mein did not include noodles which I was glad she did because I was really craving noodles & I would've been really bummed if it came and I was expecting noodles, so we changed it to lo-mein. My food was delivered to my hotel room within the quoted time. It was about $21 which included tax and the small delivery charge (about $2). The food was hot & very good. There's enough food to last me at least 3 meals. It even came with paper plates & utensils. I would definitely recommend to others! read more

The quality of this restaurant,that has been around for years, has really gone down. I ordered $50 worth of pickup. I waited in the parking lot until the order was ready and then had a 10 min ride home. Everything in the order was barely warm or cold. The one dish with a sauce was tasteless. The food tasted like it had been cooked earlier in the day and sat around under a heat lamp. I called to let the owner know and he argued w/ me for 5 mins telling me he had personally watched everything cooked. Told him that there was something wrong because the food was awful. He became so ugly on the phone I had to hang up on him. I was not asking for a refund or anything, just wanted him to know he had a problem. I'll never eat there again. read more

This food was so disgusting, I made a yelp just to post this review. I ordered crab wontons, veggie spring rolls, chicken wings and pork rice. The spring rolls were mushy on the inside. The wontons didn't taste cooked all the way. The rice was so bland, even soy sauce couldn't save it and it was mushy and clumpy in spots. The wings tasted floury. I tried to make myself finish my plate so I wouldn't be hungry and couldn't even do it. Even the fortune cookies were gross and they didn't even make those. I have been searching for some good Chinese food since I moved to Conyers and let me tell you... This is NOT it. It should have been a sign when we walked in to pick up our call in order and NO ONE was in the restaurant. Not one single customer at 7pm on Thursday night. Once we got home and tried our food, it tasted like I should have spent $5 instead of $26. Not good at all!! We threw away over half of our food. Definitely will not be back. read more

Very few restaurants deliver in Conyers and so I decided to give them a try on day when I could not leave the house. I'm glad I did try them! Ordered online and the food was delivered fast and by a friendly driver. I was surprised at how well the food was packaged with every condiment you could need. I ordered a god variety of food just in case one thing was not good. To my surprise everything that I ordered was very delicious and well prepared! The online menu could use more descriptions on some of the items but overall, I will be ordering from them more often. read more

If you're in the mood for Chinese, this is NOT the place for you. We ordered General Tso chicken, chicken wings, fried rice, and shrimp with broccoli. We ended up getting General Tso flour, refried old wings that weren't hot in the center, and some microwaved, dry, salty rice. I'm giving two stars instead of one because at least the shrimp was decent. We ended up throwing it all away. Terrible, terrible, cold, fake food. You'd be better off eating anything else. read more

The location is listed as San Francisco CA, not sure why. This location is in Conyers, GA. The website contains references to "what is good", and I typically stick to this items, including Mongolian Beef and General Tso's chicken. Always a bit tough and chewy, this time, the chicken was cooked so hard that chewing it only reduced it what looked like rough hewn sawdust, that I refused to swallow. A quick call to the restaurant to request either a refund or a replacement meal resulted in a 27 minute call, during which the woman on the phone was very rude, refused to allow me to speak to the owner, and eventually just hung up on me. Fortunately, I ordered through Eat24.com and paid through my PayPal account. I contacted Eat24, and received a call from a very nice gentlemen who patiently listened to my complaint, and within 10 minutes, called me back again to inform me of my refund. read more
