The purchasing of the quartz at a very good price and the scheduling of the install were made easy by everyone there. For install day, they did a fantastic job making sure all the pieces were installed perfectly. Would highly recommend them for any and all products they provide. And as a bonus we also purchased our vanity through them and they cut the holes for the sink the same day and we took it home, all within about 30 minutes. Great places for all your home needs!

We bought a very large wool remnant for our 25x13 ft living room years ago and it still looks as good as it did then. A few years later we needed a runner for our stairway. In addition to having just the right color and pattern for our craftsman home, they came out to measure the stairs before we ordered. And the good service doesn't stop once you buy. When a visiting cat turned the stair runner into a scratching post, I called our salesman, Gregory Bagett, who arranged for their installer to come to the house to fix the problem. If you need a carpet, check them out and ask for Greg.

I had a terrible experience buying a remnant piece to be made into a custom rug. The remnant was…read morecut too short size despite being provided a thorough diagram with many detailed measurements. I informed them of the issue and it took months to remedy. They tried sewing the pieces together but I wasn't happy with the visible seam, so they gave me the options of a refund or choosing another remnant. I expressed that I didn't want to use more time coming back to the store to choose another carpet- I had been to the store 4 times at that point, including dropping it off once I realized it was cut improperly, and another time to view how it looked sewed together. Then they offered to find the same rug at their San Carlos location, which I would have appreciated more had they been proactive. I followed up with the salesperson (Gregory) several times with no response until I finally reached a manager who told me it was cut and would be delivered from the San Carlos store the following week. I had to continually chase down updates until I reached another store manager who had no clue about my order. I finally was able to get my issue escalated to the general manager who notified me the carpet had never been cut or transported. I asked for some type of compensation to make up for the terrible experience and got no response, but he did end up providing delivery and installation for free. The only positive process of this entire process was the delivery and installation (thanks to those two men whose names I didn't catch). I made my purchase on April 1, let them know about the incorrect cut on April 23, and it wasn't remedied until June 11. Major headache!! I had planned to purchase another custom rug from them but now I'm too turned off to do business with them.

The price was very reasonable for the quality of work delivered. We would highly recommend this team to anyone looking for skilled, dependable flooring work.

The reason I've rated them 4 stars instead of 5 is because of their initial unresponsiveness and long delay in providing a quote. When I initially contacted Hayri via Yelp, he called me right away to set up a measuring appointment. Unfortunately, he then forgot to mark our appointment on his calendar, and was over an hour late for our appointment. He was very apologetic, and then promised to provide a quote within 4 days. It took him nearly two weeks to provide the quote, after multiple emails. Hayri ultimately provided an extremely competitive quote, and despite our disappointment with his responsiveness, we rolled the dice because of his price and rave reviews on Yelp. We made a good call. Hayri's team finished our hardwood flooring installation a week ahead of schedule, and overall, it looks great. There was one issue, and he sent one of his employees out to fix it (though it took a couple weeks for him to come). That said, they corrected their error with no pushback and were very polite and professional about the whole thing, which we appreciated. Overall, Metro Floors did good work for us. If you can handle off and on radio silence, and getting a good price for high quality flooring and installation is a priority for you, Hayri is a good choice.

I was happy when the shades were installed as the installer was very quick to address issues that came up in the moment that should have been addressed during the initial measurements. After the installer left and I attempted to connect the shades to my in home system I discovered that the motors were not compatible. I requested that they change the motors out to which they responded with a quote of over $1k for new motors (there is a $30 difference between the two motors). I originally had chose National Blinds as they had done some of the other apartments and agreed that they had used the power cables that had been ran to the windows during construction (ai ended up with battery powered because they couldn't figure out the wiring). Jerry is very knowledgable and talked us through the whole process from start to finish. Being new homeowners, we really appreciated him taking the time to work with us and answer all our questions, so we were comfortable. He gave us a couple different options for types of stains and also presented a few fixes for some slight gapping between the baseboards and the floor since the previous owner had carpet. I never felt like Jerry was trying to up sell us or recommend work that would get him more money. He just presented us with the options and costs and let us make the decision. We received a specific quote to refinish the floors and do a few repairs on some of the boards. Even though they ended up having to replace more boards than he initially thought, he stayed within his quote. We also had a very specific schedule, and he accommodated gladly. To sum it all up, the work was done as well or better than expected, completed on schedule, and delivered at the exact price originally quoted. Additionally, Jerry was very patient and never tried to pressure us into spending more on work we didn't really need. I don't think you can ask for anything more.
