This was my first experience with a computer rental and it was excellent. I needed a Mac at short notice to take on a trip and GGC was able to meet all of my needs. Since I live in the south bay, it was a bit inconvenient for me to drive up and pick up the laptop. GG sent it to me by FedEx well in advance of the day I'd reserved it for. I had a last minute gig in Los Angeles a client called me to come down for and I had to leave within a few hours. With only an hour notice GGC had me covered. They met me on the way to the airport in downtown SF with a MacBook Pro that I could edit on while in LA for the week. All of wineries were evacuated from the Napa fires and we had to create a temporary call center away from the fires. I called Dave on a Sunday evening and he had 11 laptops ready for pick up the next morning. He even gave us an extra one (free) in case we needed it. I was coming from out of town and needed a laptop to work from for a few days. Golden Gate Computing was very prompt in responding to my questions and offering a rental that was very well priced. When I got to San Francisco to pick it up, I realized I had the wrong address, but a quick call to them settled it and within 5-10 minutes (walking distance), I was able to meet up with them not too far from where I was. Excellent customer service and very easy to work with. Communication was very easy and prompt and my request for a laptop rental was very last minute. GGC even went the extra mile and delivered the laptop to the conference hotel when my flights were delayed, etc. and were fair and reasonable in agreeing to adjustments given the last minute, ever changing situation with my rental.
