He also was always responsive to any of my questions or requests. They have a comprehensive website, which lists out all the pricing for renting their equipment; some of the best rates in the area from my research. Although I ended up not needing to rent their items, given their outstanding customer service, I am certain that their products would have been top notch as well.

What's more, we were left high and dry by another company on Friday afternoon and needed everything set up the following Monday morning. Daniel was incredibly responsive, and provided detailed and reasonable pricing. We were able to fine tune the details and he promised his staff would be there to set up first thing Monday morning. Luke and Yavik completed the setup efficiently and took feedback about placement of cameras and microphones. As a result remote viewers had a perfect bird's eye view of the proceedings. The last day, they packed up the equipment efficiently and left the courtroom spotless. Corporate AV was outstanding. They went above and beyond what was expected and we would hire them again without hesitation.

Every now and then life offers very unexpected surprises!…read more My sister was celebrating her youngest daughter's graduation from university at Dominics at Oyster Point in South San Francisco. She asked me if I could help with sound for announcements, music and karaoke. Note that the request was last minute, my sister was getting so many aspects of her daughter's event that sound was not at the forefront of planning. I've done sound, lighting and theatrical productions over the years and have delt with rentals for said equipment from companies like Holzmueller Productions, Adolph Gasser (Permanently Closed), Next Arts Audio Visual Lighting, McCurne AVL and many more. After the recent pandemic, hours have changed or business's have closed , it was difficult to rent sound equipment last minute for the weekend. I was having a very difficult time securing sound equipment for my nieces graduation party. I called several companies but I was not getting any answers like I use to before the pandemic. Now comes the surprise, Bay Area Sound Systems (BASS). I placed a call and was able to speak with Nicholas. I explained that I was looking for a portable speaker, mixer and mic set (something like Fender's Passport System). He understood what I wanted and sent me a quote. I responded to the quote and followed his pay instructions (I used Zelle). I went to pickup the equipment at the BASS location and he had it all packed up and ready to go on a dolly. KISS (Keep it Simple!!!) defined my experience with Nicholas from BASS. I had no negative experience, it was all very positive. Things I noticed: 1. Punctual (He was on time for every aspect of my request.) 2. Pride in equipment by the displayed care in the manner which it was all neatly packaged (wires, aux cables, etc., etc., etc...). I will end by saying I will use BASS for future sound rentals because BASS made it all so simple. BASS - Thanks a ton for making it so simple!!! I hope the best in all your future endeavors!!! oSuperDuke

We needed to rent equipment for our out-of-town DJ, however I couldn't be less versed in how to make this happen - nor did I have the bandwidth to even try to learn. Bay Area Sound Systems came in knowing exactly what we needed, what to do, and provided the most efficient delivery, set-up, and break down. They didn't need a single thing from me on the wedding day (or the day after), which is THE ultimate gift any vendor could give a bride. Thank you, Nicholas!!

Michael does not disappoint! I got in touch with Michael via phone and our phone conservation was lovely! He was super friendly, professional, and very helpful. I honestly did not know what we needed in terms of lights and sound, and he was able to assist with all of that. His emails and invoice statements were very clear and detailed, and nothing was confusing. Not only did Michael work with me, but also my wedding planner. He was super easy going when working with my wedding planner. My husband and I had certain songs that we wanted played during our wedding ceremony, and Michael was super receptive and made it all happen. We copied links of the songs that we wanted and he downloaded them himself with no other requests. The day of our wedding, Michael was on time with a bright smile on his face! We had never met Michael prior to our wedding, but when we did, we were greeted with a such an energetic positive presence, that we knew having Michael do the lights and sound was a great idea. The ceremony sound was perfect. It wasn't too loud or too quiet. Often times during a wedding ceremony the sound can be either, and it was just right. He played the music that we had requested perfectly (to the minute,) and it only made our ceremony that much more beautiful. Our reception was beautiful! The uplights that Michael had used were breathtaking. Lights can do a lot to a room, and the atmosphere wouldn't have been what it was, had it not been for MLS. During our reception we had a separate MC and DJ. That can be a lot of cooks in the kitchen, but Michael was super easy going. He was clear prior what his roles would be for the ceremony and reception, however he didn't hesitate to help when needed. Our MC was a friend, and when our MC friend was having some jitters, Michael said he could do it. Thank you Michael for easy our minds during that whole time. You were soo friendly in such a mildly chaotic moment, that we knew that we had been well taken care of. Our MC friend did end up MCing, but Michael stepped in when needed to help support. The reception itself was ridiculous!!! We had such a great time and the sound and lights really brought everything together when we were on the dance floor. The set up and break down for Michael was great too! He was a one man show that day, but was extremely punctual and positive. We are so lucky to have been introduced to Michael and MLS Sound Services. Sound and lights are things that can really help create a intimate atmosphere at a wedding. We didn't realize how helpful it could be, until we experienced it all. Michael was so easy to work with, professional, punctual, and super friendly! We will definitely be asking Michael to help us again if we ever need his services.
