I wanted to make sure to leave a review for Rima and Golden Flowers. She did an amazing job on the 3 funeral arrangements that we ordered for my grandmothers funeral. I'm newer to the area and wasn't sure who to go to that would make a pretty arrangement without overcharging. Rima was a great listener and so sweet. She made sure we could see the different designs she has to offer as well as asking about what flowers we'd like etc. the pricing was reasonable as well. And the workmanship was awesome. They delivered the arrangements as well as writing our names on a ribbon. I'll definitely be ordering more flowers from them and appreciate your help very much! read more

We ordered flowers for a funeral. The service they provided was great. They were courteous on the phone when taking my order. They listened to all my request and took the time to write down all the detail. They sent me a photo of the arrangement the day before and it looked beautiful. The day of, the cathedral was not open until right before the service and I couldn't be there to receive the flowers so the delivery driver had to wait a while and they were very understanding/nice about it. In a community like Glendale, florists are a serious business. Everyone brings & exchanges flowers all the time. I didn't know the name and visited this shop because of it's convenient location in the Super King Market. I made a purchase because of the reasonable price. The quality and quick turnaround are the reason I sought the name out to share my terrific experience and hopefully, allay anyones doubts and give them an opportunity to earn your business. I was told they don't have roses or carnations because they are only sustainable flowers. Ewe! I will go with roses next time! I was also told $ 105.60. I was charged $134.06. I thought, "Wow, this arrangement will be huge and spectacular at that price and no roses or carnations." Not to happy. Check photos. read more

Wonderful service! I would highly recommend this place for anyone looking for flowers. My friend's sister passed away at a young age and I was looking for a florist that was local to where her service was being held. This small flower shop is actually tucked away inside the Super King market! I've gone to Rima a couple times and she always manages to outdo herself. There is usually a couple premade bouquets on display, but this shop is more geared towards you picking individual pieces to make a personalized bouquet. Both times I've gone in, I pretty much have just a color scheme in mind and Rima puts together an absolutely gorgeous piece. Prices are pretty fair and she is very quick with putting bouquets together, so if you need beautiful flowers relatively quickly, definitely check her out! read more

I placed an online order which was so simple, and asked for a few colored roses to be included in a white and blush arrangement. This business is really too notch. They know what they're doing and they DONT skimp. I've never seen such amazing work for the value. I work for a cosmetics company that needs fresh aspidistra leaves every two weeks for our fresh displays. About a year ago I began my search for local florists who would help me out and was met with terrible service, telling me "it's not worth their time" or "we're a boutique flower shop, we don't sell leaves." Golden Flowers was the only shop that has been so kind and welcoming right from the first phone call. I go here every two weeks to pick up aspidistra leaves for my shop and I believe the owner has always priced me fairly and she has always been so kind with every visit. My purchases only amount to about $10-$15 every two weeks for her shop but she's never turned me away or acted as if it wasn't worth her time. She even wraps the leaves up for me in cellophane paper like a normal bouquet! I've just always been incredibly pleased with the service and attention at the shop, which is also clean and filled with flowers. And while I can't speak on the quality of the normal flower arrangements (from what I can see in the shop, they look pretty nice), rest assured that at Golden Flowers you will be welcomed and treated to quality customer service I wish other local florists would practice, as well. :) Thank you for everything! read more

I found this flower shop last minute. I was lurking though YELP and BAM! Found it. Read all the great reviews and thought to try it instead of purchasing from proflowers or 800flowers. We ALL know those types of flowers come wilted and dumb expensive for carnations? Really? I was looking for Birthday flowers for my mom and she LOVES LOVES floral arrangements so this year I wanted to surprise her with delivered fresh cut flowers. I literally called the day of my mom's birthday and the lady (I'm guessing the owner) answered and was pretty much ready to take my order. She let me know straight away of any pricing conditions as far as delivery which I thought was great instead of finding out after the service. She asked me a couple questions as far as height and color. If I wanted a bouquet or an actual piece. And I told her to please put in personal touches that she would love to make the arrangement unique and amazing. I quickly mentioned my mom enjoys orchids and told the florist "oh you don't have to use those if you don't have any or doesn't make sense." To my surprise, she still used it and orchids are expensive plus she used 2 different kinds!!! (WOW!!!) She was completely spot on! AND she really does send you photos through text if you ask her to! I put in my order around 10:30 or 11am and my Mom received her flowers by 1-1:30pm the same day! She even texted to let me know that they were delivered! I WILL be purchasing flowers from here more often when the occasion calls for it! Don't hesitate to try this florist all the reviews are really accurate! P.S. My MOM loves her arrangement. She had no complaints whatsoever with her flowers. And she's the type that would rather make her own bouquets and arrangements. Excellent and fast service. Called last min to get an arrangement and the turn around was so fast. I was worried I wouldn't be able to find someone to do same day flowers, not only was it same day it was within 2 hours. My wedding bouquet came out perfectly! It's was $160 total for my bouquet and boutonnière. I ordered it 2 weeks ahead of time and my wedding was the day before Valentine's Day and I was able to still get an order in before the busiest day of the year! Very grateful and it was beautiful! Very easy to order online/over the phone. Since I'm not local, I shopped online, then called in to pick different flower colors and my mom loved! Quite possibly the best service I've ever had. From a quick phone call and exchange of 2 photo messages, Golden Flowers was able to figure out exactly what I wanted, assembling and delivering an absolutely stunning bouquet, all on the same day (Mother's day). Golden Flowers has been amazing to me and my husband! They designed all the flowers for my wedding and decorated the church and the banquet hall! I called Golden Flowers this morning at 9:00 to order an arrangement for my sister's birthday. The arrangement was done by 10:30!!! Excellent service and amazingly efficient! ( she was working on another arrangement when I called and assured me she would get it done and delivered by 11:00ish) The arrangement came out gorgeous! Was in the area looking for good flowers, since, no offense, but Ralph's wasn't cutting it. Com scores the little place inside a plaza market and let me tell you a hidden gem. The lady attending me was super nice and their flowers looked fresh and well maintained. I told her an idea of what I was looking for and she got me exactly what I was looking for. She wrapped the dozen white roses up along with other green flowers and came out fantastic. The pricing wasn't bad at all and I walked out with s a smile. Beautiful flowers and they arrived on time. I found 2 beautiful bouquets on their website that I waned for my father-in-laws funeral. The price was fine and the $10 off by mentioning Yelp was helpful. The lady who answered the phone was friendly and gave good customer service. The flowers looked more beautiful in person and I would definitely recommend this flower shop. The wake is today and the funeral is Friday. I'll update this on Friday to inform if the flowers still look good. read more

I had planned on ordering some flowers from here for a friends birthday on the 12th Feb. knowing how beautiful their flowers are, but was absolutely horrified to see on their website that they state, "All items will increase by 30% between 8-14th Feb!! That's shocking behavior for a florist!! It's your business to sell flowers, you can't increase your prices just because it's Valentine's Day! Candy doesn't go up for Halloween, clothes don't increase because it's colder and you need to wear more. I will go somewhere else! read more

The couple who I never met were so kind.... I just wanted a simple, few roses and look..she even added some other greens to compliment. They were so delightful to talk with and just warm people. I visited the website, and then ordered through a combination of e-mail and phone - never had to visit the store. The website isn't great and you can't order online, but there are a ton of photos of their work, which is all gorgeous. Here's the good news that I discovered through the ordering process. Yes. They deliver to Forest Lawn, Glendale for $10. Yes, your arrangement is completely unique. Yes, they make sure to get the flowers to the right spot at the cemetery. I called and got voicemail and also filled out the online form. I got a call and an e-mail back right away. What worked for me was copying a photo from the website, pasting it in a return e-mail and providing a price range. A quick call with Rima and a few bits of info later, she assured me that she would take care of it. A few points of delight: 1. Rima called Forest Lawn for me to make sure the flowers got to the right place. She found out there was a viewing the day before that I didn't even know about. 2. After she made the spray, she sent me a photo. Nice surprise. The arrangement exceeded my expectations. read more

Had a wonderful experience here today. I needed a flower arrangement done the same day, so I browsed yelp and Golden Flowers won the review war. I called them around 10am and the lady on the end was very nice and accommodating, especially considering I had no idea what type of flowers or arrangement I wanted. I just told her "it's my mother in law's birthday-- help!" She told me she would make me 3-4 arrangements and that I could choose when I came in (how incredibly nice is that!) All the arrangements were so beautiful I had a hard time picking. Most importantly my MIL loved them! Very pretty and unique. read more

My honey and I came in to purchase a boutonniere for his 50th birthday celebration. From the moment we walked in, the energy felt off. I immediately noticed there was no clear explanation of the process -- I had to ask questions just to understand how things worked. Despite that, I gave very clear and specific instructions: a red rose, wrapped with black trim, gold-sprayed leaves, and baby's breath. On the day of pickup, I called to confirm the order was ready and was met with rudeness over the phone. When I arrived and saw the boutonniere, I was completely disappointed -- there was no baby's breath. When I asked about it, I was told, "Oh, I didn't put it. I thought what I added looked more elegant." Imagine paying for something and having someone change your order based on their personal preference. That is unacceptable. I had to firmly express my concerns and insist that it be corrected to match what we originally discussed and ordered. While I waited for it to be fixed, it was frustrating to say the least. Instead of baby's breath, she added small yellow flowers that would have completely clashed with his suit and the color theme of his party.
