This place has been my absolute favorite for over 20 years! I discovered it when I was in my 20's and working down the street. It was a great place to drive thru at lunch with my coworkers. It's just as good or better than it was back then. When we moved to this side of town, I was all to happy too introduce it to my hubby! It's become a favorite weekend treat. Ordered the Egg Fu Young Online menu shows combo dinner comes with white rice , however I didn't ask and it came with fried rice. Not really what I wanted. The gray also came on the meal but previous orders of coworkers the gray came on the side. There was a very minimal amount of gray on the meal which left it dry. The amount of shrimp was ok. Could of been a few more. The flavors where ok. Nothing to say "wow" about. The combo did come with an egg roll but soda not included. 8.88 total bill. The restaurant was very clean and they also have a drive tru window. Pretty cool service. I would possibly try again asking for what I want in the order rather then believing what they may put in my order. Half of that was my fault not confirming. My husband and I normally come here for some quick Chinese while it's normally good today we ordered a lunch teriyaki chicken it smelled bad and didn't taste good, my husband called the restaurant to ask if we can exchange for a different entree next time since we are both working and can't come right back with our lunch breaks being over the lady refused, treat your regulars better, you'll do better business in the future. I ordered the shrimp fried rice and chicken wings and I'll give it a 7.8/10 The inside was clean and they had a drive thru which is a plus for me. They lady that took the order was nice, attentive, AND she was smiling the whole time so that's a plus for me. The food was good what but what threw me off was the breaded/battered chicken. The fried rice was good but to me it need a little more flavor and to be a little more greasy to give thay fried rice feel. Amazing Chinese food. I have had Chinese food in over 6 different countries and nothing beats this. We ordered the shrimp egg foo young, Mongolian beef, and the shrimp fried rice. Every time I order, my food is delicious. I normally order the shrimp egg foo young with fried rice. Today I ordered chicken wings, shrimp fried rice and shrimp egg roll. They give you Alot of food enough for 2 servings. I'll eat some for dinner and have leftovers for work the next day. The food is always enjoyable for me but for the first time in decades of going there I had an extremely bad experience. We went to the drive-thru around 8:30 New Year's Eve. When we got home, we discovered they had messed up the one order and gave us the completely wrong dinner combo for the other order. The first order that was messed up could be put on us for misunderstanding what they asked and not being clear enough about what we wanted. We did get the right dinner, just not the way we wanted it but that can be placed on how we ordered it. For the second order, we ordered shrimp with lobster sauce and got some brown sauce with vegetables dish. We called immediately when we found out when we got home at about 9:15. It rang five times and no one answered. Since it was New Year's Eve, we assumed they closed early like just about everyone else. With nothing else to eat for dinner, I went ahead and had the brown sauce dish even though I wasn't happy with it. When we called about it today to see what they could do to compensate for the mistake? Their flat and unyielding answer was Nothing. Not a blessed thing. 'Want a refund or replacement, bring the dish back'. That was all they would offer. I told them I didn't have anything else to eat so had it reluctantly but they wouldn't budge and basically boiled down to shrugging and having a 'too bad' attitude. The manager said they were open till 11 so we should've taken care of it last night. I repeated several times that we did call to try and do that but no one answered. Basically, they gave us the wrong dinner, didn't repeat it back to us like the manager tried to claim they do, didn't answer the phone when we called about it and partly because of that refuse to do anything about it for us. Not even so much as offering us a free eggroll on a future order. All of this to customers who have been loyally eating there for literally decades. read more

This place was average at best. They seem to have great lunch specials and great women behind the large yellow menu posted on the wall. But the food was nothing special. I ordered the white rice, chicken and broccoli w/white sauce. I was told by cashier that the white sauce was better then the brown, but there is very little difference between both. The rice was overcooked and not the traditional Jasmine Rice that I'm accustomed. The vegetables were tender but still crisp. The chicken was well cooked. But it all was lacking in flavor. The most enjoyable part of the meal was the Spring Roll. And that alone wasn't worth the trip out. I guess this place is perfect if you're looking for a quick cheap lunch. Yet still the best Chinese restaurant on my side of town to get some food to go but then again I'm a local there

I've been coming here for years and I have and always bought over $60 worth of food and I've always had great service with no issues. However, for the past few times I have been going the woman working the drive through has been giving me no more than 5 sauce packets with all the food I get. This time I mentioned if I could have a couple more packets and she goes on to say she could not give me anymore sauce, even with the amount of food I had. She continued saying if I wanted more I would have to pay $2 dollars for less than a hand full of sauce...I am a constituent costumer, and love the food, but have not been satisfied with the costumer service these past couple times. read more

She would come in everyday and cook us something special each day for our Free lunch! I only worked there for 6 months. Ever since I moved to this side if town in 2009, I've had just about all three meals of my day from this place. The menu is HUGE and everything is delicious making it nearly impossible to decide what to order. I love the pork fried rice. My favorite is the shrimp fried rice with hot wings. They have drive-thru, take-out, dine-in and delivery. You can even call in and place your order ahead of time and your food will always be ready within 10 minutes or less! I can't get enough of the great food and the people who work there are very friendly and nice. They are awesome! Overall I give this place a 10 out of 10 rating! This place is legendary. It's been there for decades. This drive thru Chinese takeaway always satisfies my cravings. Not sure if it still is but it used to be owned by Keith Chan along with several other great restaurants in Jacksonville. The Hot and Sour soup tasted like Chan's. My favorite. We had King Pao Chicken and House Special Chicken. Both came with a mountain of pork fried rice and a good Eggroll. We also ordered Krab Rangoons. They were a bit dry. Pricing is pretty good. But the food is not fresh. The first time I ate here I had honey chicken meal. The chicken was very stiff and hard to chew. So I came back again and got the teriyaki chicken during lunch time. I figured the food would taste the freshest then. The teriyaki chicken is different. It's breaded I'm use to grilled teriyaki chicken. It was much more tastier but the chicken meat again was very stiff and seems to be reheated. They're pricing is good for their lunch special. But I would rather go to the Chinese restaurants in the food court. They are much better read more
