Came hear on a whim after doing a quick search for good donuts in the area to satisfy my sweet tooth while we were out. We came around noon on a Friday with no one else there. There weren't a lot of donuts left, but the variety to choose from was still plentiful. Kept it simple and got a glazed twist, glazed buttermilk bar, chocolate cake donut with sprinkles, and donut holes. All were solid donuts, very good taste and texture, not greasy at all. Don't shops are always about the apple fritters for me. Theirs are the best. Lots of apples and cinnamon and not all fluffy bread like so many shops cutting corners. Their other donuts are always good as well. No skimping on the icing. Creullers are made with creuller flour as they should be. Service is friendly. read more

I just want to start out by saying that all of the reviews with 3 or less stars were most definitely NOT based on the current owners of this donut shop! I live super close to this store and I am not a donut eater, but my grandkids are and the people who volunteer at my job are! I bring a dozen in for them a couple of times a month and they are gone really fast. The shop is clean and cozy and the owners are super friendly and offer great service. They often have to close early because they sell out of donuts. The store has been completely changed from the previous owner's set up and they make sandwiches and keep my favorite energy drink fully stocked. They greet my grandkids by name and always are kind to them and give them stickers. They even remember the name of my grandson who lives in Washington, when he visits. My boss says that their maple bars are the best she has ever had. Lately, they have a strawberry pastry (fresh) with lightly sweetened whipped cream and a little bit of powdered sugar instead of the glaze. I am hooked on these pastries, so please don't come and buy them.........save them for me!!! They are really yummy!! read more

Their lunch sandwich was great from top to bottom. Perfectly crispy croissant bread and bacon to the fresh veggies. They have it for a price I can't really beat, definitely my before work go to now. Nice selection of donuts at reasonable prices (even better deal if you get 1/2 dozen). Both persons working there were friendly and helpful. The custard filled chocolate frosted donut was fresh and done well; not my favorite custard filling of all time but nothing to complain about. **Disclaimer i don't write many reviews, never hating on a business, but... when there's a business that deserves a good review, I'm not shy to lay one down. First of all, and possibly the best part of the experience, is the amazing smiles that you're always graded with when you walk in the door. A very nice Cambodian family owns this little donut shop. Super polite, super friendly, and I was even given discount today- 3 donuts for the price of two... there's currently road construction going on the main street so it's tricky to get into the donut shop so the owner felt like he wanted to reward me for making the extra effort. So the ambience is there, the service is perfect and spot on .... But how is the DONUT??? Not even joking it's probably one of the better donuts you can find. You're not gonna find a ton of foo foo glitter/fruity pebbles with unicorns leaping out of the center.. not to say they dont have probably over 30 different donut styles/selections, one does have real bacon ontop the maple glaze, another chocolate bar is par with real peanut butter and theres fritters and nut ontop of chocolate etc super light crispy donuts (they must clean their frying oil everyday!!) and creamy, textured, flavorful glazes/dips etc. the flavors and quality are World Class. Not even joking. I've probably never been in there earlier than 8 AM so I could only imagine what it taste like straight out of the dragons belly!!!! (The oven) so I'm not gonna hate on a lot of other donut shops or call anybody out, but sometimes you get a doughnut and it taste like it. It's been sitting there for three days even though they baked it that morning. Other places if you get it right then and there fresh out of the oven it's a decent donut... the donuts are golden donuts though are special.... I got a dozen donuts in the morning a few weeks ago. I gave a few out at work, ate a few of them, and took the rest home to my family. Later that night, my wife was blown away and asked where I got the donut from because she took A Bite. I told her the story and filled her in and we still had a donut left over the next day. two days later after it been sitting in a box while traveled, and somewhat neglected, this little Donut still had a lot of love and life left, unbelievable.... It was still fresh. it tasted better than some donuts I had bought and eaten by 7 AM. That is the end of this boring, but hopefully informative review . You cannot go wrong with golden donuts.
