Located in O'Fallon Mo. Private parking lot. Needed attention in the parking lot considering we had a snow storm yesterday. Open well lit and clean. Many varieties o and options of food. Breakfast, brunch available. Chef available to make cook to order items like eggs served your way and omelettes. Salads, desserts etc. All food options had great presentation and heat appeal. Restaurant was clean and clear of clutter. Tables and floors were clean and swept. Jeanette was our waitress. Very nice and eager to assist. Came over regularly to check in and make sure we were ok. Golden Corral just started a rewards program. New app available as well. Buffet to go option as well. Pack your food by the pound !!!I will definitely be downloading this app to rack up points to start eating with discounts:)

Lu was so sweet and put napkins over our drinks for us and left us a note on a napkin. thank you Lu. mashed potatoes was good. dessert was good. everything else was below average. glasses and plates were mighty suspicious I am concerned about the bathroom. napkins everywhere. other than that, thank you for the experience.

Saturday morning breakfast found this location very busy. Our server did a good job whisking away empty plates and refilling drinks. GC was effective in keeping food trays stocked with fresh items. There was a large variety of breakfast foods, plus salads, until 11am. Then, more lunch items--veggies and meats--were added to the breakfast offerings.

Busy as always but quicker servers once u sit to fill drinks or clear plates. Wish food was stirred or fresh in up for dinner just seemed like it was there all day. Grill guys did my steak perfect for me. Wish I could find butter easier or some chocolate ice cream

Opened for Thanksgiving meals 11-6pm! Steaks, turkey and cranberry sauce, sweet potatoes and baked potatoes, bread and all the sweets. They have gloves for customer use, one direction buffet line and tables were spaced out. Staff give each table a set of dishes, utensils and any request on condiments. There are also sanitary tables and hand sanitizer stations in different part of the restaurant. We had our lunch here and I had my favorite dish: make my own steak salad! So, practice social distance, wear masks, be sanitary, respectful and let your love ones know you're thankful for them. ToGo orders are available too!

Well, I've posted about Golden Corral before and stated how I enjoy the O'Fallon location best. You're slipping. I'm finding the vegetables overcooked and the offerings (mostly soups) sometimes crusted over. Potatoes gone. Ok, I know it's 3:30 and you're getting ready for dinner but hey, we're seniors and paid for our meal! We expect the best.

Above average Golden Corral experience. Food was all tasty. Ate too many carbs and felt like I wanted to die after.

There was literally poop on the toilet seats. Every last toilet had something in or on it. Absolutely disgusting facility.

I was not sure what I was expecting, but apparently this is a new buffet in the area. The facility…read moreis brand new and with bright lights and a modern atmosphere. The service is really nice here and I like that the buffet servers are in the center of the dining area, and not tucked away in the back. I think their selection of Chinese food and seafood is great! Their sushi is great quality as well. I highly recommend if you have a craving for endless good food and REALLY good seafood.

ITs alot of food and selections. Like sushi stations, hibachi station, and a Pho station. It was so many people it was kinda off putting honestly. Like it was the season of Flu, Covid, and Respiratory viruses. So I headed to the hibachi grill to cook my food fresh. sooooo the man was rude and had an attitude. I get it we have a language barrier, alot of people, all demanding different things, impatient etc. But the facts were he was rude. But he can hibachi some food. That was great. I did peruse some buffet selections which all pretty much tasted edible but nothing that really blows your mind. NOW The fried BLUE CRAB. exquisite. Will i go back absolutely. wear your leggings with an oversized shirts for the ladies, and men your sweats. because this really a low key place to get full, talk, and go home to go to sleep. Pack your kids up and enjoy a night where you dont have to cook. Sunday dinner was like 23.00 per person and i believe they charged 2.99 for drinks. My waiter was attentive and cleared the plates and refilled the drinks regularly. I will say its almost like a system, eat, clear the plates, bring more people. Nothing attentive but the only reason you should be here is to eat obnoxiously. The ambiance. is cool ultra modern, multiple seating arrangements, if you have a large party, small party, intimate settings, its so large there is a lot of space to accomodate. but the lighting is super bright and the buffet area is almost garish, like we not at an old school miami night club we are here to EAT and EAT alot. I have typed alot for a buffet. I just want you guys to know that you will be overwhelmed when you walk through the door. so if you are a shy, private person, not friendly, overstimulated easily or have ADHD. Prepare yourself, take a shot, your meds or an edible because its almost right at the point of "its too much." Just go check it out and tell me what you think

There are bad Chinese buffets and then there are BAD Chinese buffets. New China Buffet is BAD!!! I…read morecouldn't find one edible thing available besides the snow crab legs. Usually these mediocre Chinese buffets have decent soup at least. The hot and sour soup was nasty, almost made me choke from the chili pepper seeds and sour aftertaste. The selection is so limited. What is meatloaf doing on the trays? The hibachi had some of the toughest beef I've ever eaten and there was some eggshell left in the mix, not good. I wasn't brave enough to eat the piece of tuna sushi which looked more like a slice of roast beef than anything that should be served raw. Avoid this place at all costs!!!

I got my styrofoam container and went to the buffet. Everything LOOKED good..... I got bbq ribs, fried rice, pepper steak, honey chicken, crab rangoon, egg roll, and lo mein. Got the meal home and ready to eat. The ribs were pretty good surprisingly. I don't usually eat pork of any kind from a Chinese restaurant but I figured I'd give it a go and I wasn't disappointed. Sauce was good and sticky so it made you lick your fingers. The pork tasted fresh, not old like other Chinese restaurants I've experienced. The meat was very tender. Pulled away from the bone nicely. The fried rice was not done. Crunch-crunch-crunch! I hate it when rice isn't cooked all the way through. Threw that away. The pepper steak was good. Some of the green peppers and onions had a good semi crunch to them. Tasty! The steak and gravy was good. I was able to cut the steak with a knife easily. Flavorful. Honey chicken.....Oh honey! Tender chicken. Not overly sweet. Great with white rice. Which I had to make because the fried rice wasn't done and it was crunchy. Tasty!! Egg roll... wasn't my cup of tea. It had a nice crunch when you bit into it but when I looked inside of it I couldn't make out what was inside of it except cabbage. The rest of the ingredients didn't look delectable. I threw it out. The crab rangoon was pretty good. It had a good crunch and the cream cheese mixture was good. But the crab rangoon didn't have a lot of the cream cheese mixture. So I felt a little jilted. ___ Last but not least the lo mein. Not much flavor in my opinion. Texture of the noodles was good. Needs more flavor for sure. A few more veggies would have been good. Just having el dente noodles ain't enough. Tasted bland. Didn't knock my socks off. Conclusion: I won't be going back to this Chinese restaurant. Yum No!! Good food? Bad food? That's the question! ‍ ~OSkoolG

I won't describe their physical appearance, to protect their privacy, but suffice it to say that I knew that I was in the right place. Inside, it was more of the same: guys who looked like they used to work construction until their ankles gave out; girls who order a Caesar salad with the dressing on the side. Is this where people started going after the Department of Health finally did away with Happy China? I was altogether unfamiliar with HuHot. My little brother used to work there when it was a Ruby Tuesday, back in the dark ages. As I remarked to a member of my group, it's now unrecognizable. The decor is surprisingly elaborate and nicer than it needs to be, given the overall concept. I've driven by this place once or twice when I was in the area for a discounted Toyota and a delicious bubble tea, and I thought it might be a more formal Panda Express, that you might take your wife to on your anniversary, and that the name might be a slightly insensitive play on the phrase "Who's hot?" The latter might still be true, but this is no ordinary Chinese restaurant. It falls somewhere in between a buffet, like the aforementioned Happy China, and one of those Japanese places where they squirt sake in your mouth from a squeeze bottle. No Diddy. It's all you can eat, and you get to select the ingredients and give them to a guy to cook on a big circular flat top. It's like my lifetime dream of being allowed to run amok in the kitchen at a Taco Bell--somehow coming up with new permutations of the same small handful of ingredients, bringing back the Meximelt for one night only (no Ricky Martin), feeding myself from the business end of that sour cream gun, like Pauly Shore drinking straight from that Slurpee machine in Encino Man--but with Chinese food instead of arguably inauthentic Mexican food. It's a brilliant idea. I went two plates deep, but I could have easily gone for five. I wasn't with that kind of group. They've been looking at me weird ever since I accidentally ate two meals at Shake Shack, as if I committed some sort of weird crime. The first trip was really just to familiarize myself with the selection of ingredients and the overall process. The second trip, I was really able to go in. The first time, I was careful about selecting ingredients that made sense together, like something you could actually order at a Panda Express. I got a few different meat ingredients, some onions, mushrooms and what have you, but none of the seafood, and I didn't combine any of the sauces. Back at the table, it occurred to me that anything you get here probably tastes more or less the same. The sauce ends up being the dominant flavor. On my second trip, I was able to confirm as much. I went full-on land, air and sea, with a haphazard sampling of noodles, vegetables and what have you and a combination of sauces, including a generous ladle of the second hottest sauce they carry. Just as I suspected, it was still good. There was a time in my life when, after eating here once, I would have dedicated myself to trying to find the one combination of ingredients that somehow doesn't work, or going back enough times that I was politely asked to leave, and the fact that that would even occur to me, at this point, is a testament to the brilliance of the idea that they've come up with.
