Next visit my friend and I decided to try their wings since they claim they have the best wings in the area They were as small as my thumbnail and cooked to almost burnt black. I ordered my wings plain and it came doused in hot sauce which I'm not a fan of. When I brought it to the waitresses attention she said well that's all the wings we have because we sell out fast. Fine no problem. I paid my bill, got a to-go box and gave it to the homeless gentleman on the corner of Dequindre. Hopefully he enjoyed them more than I did. Also want point out that depending on what night you go the clientele greatly varies. On the night with the wings it was a pretty rough crowd inside and when we were leaving someone sideswiped my friend's car. To his credit he did stop and apologized but said he had no insurance and took off. There wasn't any major damage and my friend was able to buff out most of the scratches. There's too many other places in the Warren/Madison Heights area for bar food that I probably won't be returning to Bugsy's .

I've been craving Korean Fried Chicken, and this is hands down the best I've ever had. Cooked fresh to order, the chicken came out crispy, juicy, and packed with flavor. I order a 10 piece full wing spicy and a spicy 6 piece bucket. I am a fan of Popeyes and Jollibee... But forget it! Pop Chicken takes it to another level. Portions are generous, way better price, service is friendly, and every bite is perfection. Highly recommend, and if this review led you here, tell them J.L's Yelp review sent you!

I was put on hold for three minutes to put in my order. It's probably faster to order online. There's no dining in here. Not that it is really that kind of place anyways. I also ordered the fried corn. The crew pack comes with fries, but upgraded to the Cajun fries. It also comes with veggie sticks, whatever that is. I also got the ranch, which is made in house for defy. The order totaled $38.88. The woman that took my order said it would take about 20 to 30 minutes for the order to be ready. The cajun fries are OK. Decent Cajun seasoning. They're rather soggy and not crispy at all. They are at least hand cut fries, as they're all different sizes and thicknesses too. The veggie sticks are carrots and celery. The mango habanero is probably the better of the flavors to me. The garlic Parmesan was just OK. Nothing special. The atomic flavor is not my favorite. The Cajun corn is just OK. The corn seems a little overcooked though. The woman at the front desk is nice.

The building itself seems to have been updated recently. There's tons of seating indoors, and it seems like they do a lot of takeout business. The staff is friendly, and the menu is pretty expansive. You'll find your usual standard fare for hot chicken, with a splash of Indian (Desi) and Korean thrown in as well! You can tell the menu is catered to the current hot chicken craze among Millennials/ Gen Z (see also: "tendies"). The service can be a bit slow right after they open. We arrived right at 11 and found that tbey were still heating up oil, etc-- it took 20-30 minutes for our orders to arrive, making it a tight fit for the lunch break. The real tough pill to swallow for me is the spice level experienced. I ordered the tenders in "cluckin hot" and I can assure you that they were cluckin not. I expect a lot more heat in the second hottest spice tier, so this was a disappointment. That said... I'm willing to give it another shot! CHC, I'll be back -- let's see what the cluck is all about!

The people working here were so friendly and personable with literally everyone that walked in the door. The service was top notch. It is also the most adorable place giving vibes of Lamy's food counter at Henry Ford Museum. I loved all of the options on the menu and it was so hard just picking a couple items to try. We had chicken tacos. They were so good and so fresh, I loved the sauce on top. Honestly, I am not sure if it was cheese or a sour cream type mixture, but it was creamy and flavorful. I also had the torta which was absolutely incredible. It had the same chicken as the taco. The chicken was slow cooked or stewed and shredded and was so flavorful, like a homecooked chef's kiss. The bread was fresh. I loved the sauce poured over it, making it a dipped and soaked sandwich. The carrots and cilantro, sliced radishes and sliced fresh jalapenos added a level of crunch, freshness and deeper flavor profile. I would want to get this every time. We also tried their delicious "curly" fries, which were like julienned shoestring fries fired fresh. It seemed like every dish was made fresh and right in front of you. So worth it, plus the prices are great. I would love to try their fried chicken plate, their breakfast sandwiches, and their other desserts. We talked to the man behind the counter who seemed like maybe a manager. He gave us their famous chocolate chip cookie to try. It was fresh baked and delicious. I would love to take home more of those. It looked so simple but was better than many bakeries specializing in cookies alone. He also gave us an second order of fries to take home with my leftovers, just top notch kindness and service. This man told us that OWL owns other restaurants and we would probably like them. I am open to trying more of their group but I do want to return here. This is one of those diners you would find being profiled for best kept secret or gourmet home cooked foods under the guise of fast food.
