Golden Bowl - Shrimp and Vegetables w. Brown Sauce (lunch special). 111. Shrimp with Mixed Vegetables - Chinese Near Me - Upper Marlboro, Maryland

I've been coming here for years. Today I had a taste for shrimp and broccoli, so I got the lunch special which comes with fried or white rice and a egg roll, as always the food is fresh, hot and tasty. I've tried many dishes from here and they all are delicious. This spot is a must try. read more

I had a taste for soup and decided to order takeout at the Golden Bowl. I ordered the hot and sour soup, large. I also ordered the fried chicken wings, the five piece. The customer service over the phone was excellent and pick up was super easy. The location is in a large plaza parking lot so parking is ample. The inside was a bit undesirable as it looks like they are either under renovations or moving. Please don't plan to eat in because you cannot. However, the pick up process for carry out orders were seamless and quick. Overall, the food was excellent and cooked to order. I will return. read more

Chicken with Garlic Sauce - The sauce was tasty and not greasy. Paid attention to special instruction notes which I appreciated. The fried rice was undercooked /crunchy and the eggroll had only cabbage as filling (no protein) so it was pretty bland. Had it all been edible, the price is fair for the amount of food you get with lunch special but, again, undercooked rice isn't pleasant to consume. read more

Golden Bowl - L10. Chicken with Garlic Sauce Lunch Special - Chinese Near Me - Upper Marlboro, Maryland

I can't say enough good things about their food. From the deep-fried crisp chicken and fries, from the shrimp and broccoli down. They cook it just the way I request for it. My family and I eat there very weekend. As a matter of fact, I'm on my way there now. Pls don't change anything. Food is great! read more

No complaints! I wanted some carryout and decided to try this place. Singapore noodles were perfect and not too spicy. Chicken wings were fried just how I like. I ordered through Grubhub so no info on customer service or how the store looks, but I'll do a pickup the next time I'm in the are. read more

I went with the beef and broccoli lo mein and it was pretty good. I had to add a little more soy sauce but it was good. The hot chili oil was SPICY and I truly enjoyed it!!! I love anything spicy!!! Not all Chinese restaurants are good but this had some good food!!! I'd definitely order it again. I can only speak on how the food looked when it arrived since I ordered it from DoorDash. The food was well packaged. I'm haven't had Chinese in years but this was pretty good. read more

Golden Bowl - Beef and broccoli Beef Lo Mein - Chinese Near Me - Upper Marlboro, Maryland

This is a takeout only place. The food is consistent and tasty. It's a local spot that doesn't disappoint.

I've never been to Golden Bowl and had an issue at all customer service is always good and polite. The food is always consistent is texture and flavors. Today for the first time I saw how the shrimp egg foo young looked. Compared to others their eggs, gravy are darker in color it's different but it tastes ok! The ambience is packed because it's in a parking lot and plaza mall type setting so you definitely will have to park! read more

We absolutely love the delicious food, excellent service, and wonderful ambiance! We will definitely return.

Solid takeout. Good meal at a good price. The meals come in medium or large with a medium more than enough for a single Meal and the large, well, pretty big. The Kung pao chicken was very good. The boneless ribs were tough but there were a lot of them and the sauce on the bottom made'em much better. A regional thing about Largo area crispy wontons. They aren't crispy! While they had some good meat filler, it isn't what this Baltimore boy expected. Will order from them again. read more

Golden Bowl - General Toss chicken combo & Sparerib tips & French fries - Chinese Near Me - Upper Marlboro, Maryland

Very good fried dumplings and wontons. Homemade dumpling wrappers, not the frozen dumplings a lot of places do. Fried rice very good, better than most. General Tso chicken crispy and spicy. No eat in, take out only. read more

Excellent takeout. Food is always just right and ready fast. Never any problems with my orders. And the amount for the price lasts.

Food is delicious and has big portion. Price is very reasonable! We ordered from there a couple of times when I had vacation! Don't miss it if you are close by. read more

Combo #27 was excellent! Great fried rice combo. Very happy with my order. I ordered close to closing and my order was made fresh and was delivered hot! read more

Worst fried rice I ever had. It was like precooked rice thrown together with heated frozen vegetables. No egg, I guess I was supposed to pay extra for that? It wasn't even cooked together. The chicken was rubbery and gross texture. I was afraid it was raw when I first bit in, the texture was so off. Disgusting. I am pretty sure they use fake reviews on delivery apps because this food was absolute garbage. read more

Singapore noodles had no flavor and they were white that that is not what I asked for

Delicious variety of foods! Great customer service. I visit this restaurant often and is my go-to spot for great Chinese food.

The friend chicken wings were pretty tasty. The spring roll was not the best I've had. However, this place is on the pricey side. 12.75 for 5 wings with fries. read more

Take out is consistently good quality, and combinations are a good deal for the amount of food you receive.

Just had the rib tips, fried rice & egg roll. That joint was super bomb! Them rib tips is da life! My new tip spot like a mofo!

This Chinese takeout Restaurant has great food and great customer service. You are always greeted in a pleasant manner and you never have to wait long for your order. This restaurant has a limited selection of American add-pjs at most take out places but the Chinese food is great. My go to dishes are Singapore Mei Fun (Singapore Rice noodles) or Hunan Shrimp. I have been happy with my selection every time. Try it out! read more

Regrettably, I came here and ordered spring rolls and chicken & rice soup. Not terrible but not good. That is all.

Fried chicken wings are always on point. Singapore noodles is the good too...just needs more veggie added.

I've been looking for a good Chinese food place in the area, and after tasting Golden Bowl's fare, I'm gonna keep searching. We ordered delivery via DoorDash, so I can't say anything about the in-person experience. The food was still very hot by the time it got to us, which was great! Our order was for the following: 1) Sesame Chicken 2) Steamed Dumplings 3) Wonton Egg Drop Mixed Soup 1) The sesame chicken was okay. The texture was good, and the sauce was fine, but there could've been more seasoning for flavor. It wasn't bad, but it definitely wasn't anything special. It reminded me of grocery store Chinese food frozen meals you can get. The white rice was perfect. The fried rice was pretty good, too. 2) The steamed dumplings were HUGE, and the filling was okay, but it seemed like a lot of the dumpling was dough. The supplied dumpling sauce was good. 3) The soup was my favorite part of the meal. Mixing egg drop and wonton soups seemed revolutionary to me, and it was perfect for fulfilling my comfort food craving. I added some salt, though, because it definitely needed it. Overall, the food was fine. Nothing was BAD, but nothing stood out as exceptionally good, either. This is a safe bet if you're uncertain about local Chinese food, although there may be more flavorful options out there. read more

First three times I've ordered from here, the food was great. Only issue early on was that the lo mein may have been made with peanut oil or something because my wife couldn't eat it. We realized it was on us, though, for not sharing her allergy. The last two times though--the general tso chicken tasted old as if it may have been leftover from the prior day. And this time the beef and broccoli wasn't good. (Maybe it wasn't cooked enough.) To their credit, the one thing that has been consistently good are the steak and cheese egg rolls. read more

We are visiting from Va and staying at a local hotel. We drove out of the way because this was the best rated Chinese restaurant on yelp. Was it worth it? Aahhh... Pros- The restaurant was empty when we walked in and we placed our order quick. She said 15-20 mins so we went next door to buy some soda for dinner. It was done when we got back, so cooked quickly. The chicken was crispy under the sauce though so that was good. Cons- I ordered General Tos Chicken. It tasted more like it was covered in spicy ketchup. The egg rolls I think were pure cabbage. I have never had a white egg roll, no taste at all. The donuts we ordered were quite hard as well. The lunch buffet might be great but I don't really see us ordering from there again. Dinner was kind just blah Chinese's fast food. Ps. Just cause it's funny, but I had chopsticks that didn't match up read more

I have no clue how this place received any stars. They obviously have someone adding reviews! We spent $50 on tasteless crap. For our pepper steak, the beef tasted like fried mashed liver. The hot and sour soup had no flavor and had a tanted with consistency. The orange chicken was obviously old. It was soggy and tasted watered down. There was barely any filling other than cabbage in the eggrolls. The shrimp egg foo young was ok, the gravy was a bit watered down too. The only thing edible was the rice and fortune cookie. read more

I absolutely love this place everything I've had from the golden bowl has been fresh made to order. Definitely will try more items on the menu that's far I've tried the ribs shrimp, fried rice, egg foo yong egg drop soup and they've all been great. The food here is always good. Our favorite is the shrimp and broccoli. However this location is really run down and hoodish. They really should update the place. There is currently only carry out available and they could get more business if the place looked better and had in restaurant dining. Now the COVID situation has gotten a little better they could re-open the dining area. As for service, I usually call ahead and I have never had to wait at pick up. read more

Great food ... great service! I have been going to Golden bowl for about a year now and they have always met my expectation. I love their wings! Every dish I've order was great.
