I purchased some combination rice noodles from here. When I got home and started eating it I started chewing on something hard. Come to find out it was egg shells. Fast, reliably good, well seasoned food. The place doesn't look like much on the outside or good. But I'm glad that I gave this place a shot..... well several shots by now, at least 6 or 7! The portions are good for 2 meals with the majority in the $10 price range and food is ready most times within 10-15mins. They'll deliver for a $15 order min and open until 10pm and 10:30pm on weekends. Asian Cafe is exactly what you need a takeout spot to be and nothing more -- quick, delicious, and affordable. I usually spot by on a Friday, Saturday, or Sunday to get a bite when I don't feel like cooking. The fried wings here are bomb, go with the 4 or 6 fried wings with fries and have yourself a nice night in. There's real season on the wings which is a little unusual for a takeout spot but very much so appreciated! The service is quick and to the point -- they collect my order and let me know to wait about ten minutes for everything to be ready. In ten minutes, I'm out the door and on my way. The food I have ordered to go has always been cooked perfectly and comes in rather large portions. I love that they offer tofu as a protein substitute for any of their meat dishes. General Tso's with Tofu....changed. my. life. They have a small, rather rough looking seating area and an open view into their kitchen. They also have a gender neutral bathroom. 9 times out of 10 the woman at the cash register will be on a personal call and take your order in-between responding to whoever she's talking to. Just go with it, she'll get your order right. She's got you. Just keep in mind if your paying for something that costs $10 is made in 10 minutes, and serves 2+ people, it's probably going to taste like it costs $10 and was made in 10 minutes. read more

Do NOT eat here!! Got these chicken wings that had feathers all over it! We called to tell the restaurant and they said that's how the chicken came to them. Then they offered $2 off our next order. We texted them these pictures and when we requested a refund, they said they would have to get the chicken back first...REALLY, even after you have a photo of your mess?!?!?! Other interesting factor. I ordered shrimp pad thai from here on Thursday. About 8 hours later I was balled up on the floor, sweating, throwing up and other stuff...food poisoning maybe?!?!? The only other thing I ate after this was a snack bag of Doritos and water. Could've been the chips and water but seeing this makes me think, maybe it WAS the shrimp pad thai. T.) who said she ordered the sesame chicken and was not pleased because there wasn't much chicken in the entire dish, mainly breading, well....I AGREE 100% I was hoping her review wasn't the norm, however, IT MUST BE! I ate about 4 pieces and only 2 of them had a significant amount of meat in it. One piece was so small you could barely see it!! BUT WAIT!....THERE'S MORE!...I had to stop eating and call them back when I noticed this fine long brown stran of HAIR, YES HAIR in my sesame chicken! She told me to bring it back and she'll make another one for me. YEA RIGHT! I think this place is rated unfairly low based on my experience. I was reluctant to try it based on the ratings, but I had no issues. The food was pretty standard Chinese takeout but my food was really good. I didn't call ahead but the wait wasn't too long. I would go back again if I had a taste for Chinese food. read more

It's set up like a small cafe, The walls are painted a light yellow which complements the 4 small black wood tables with extremely comfortable seats. based on the quality, welcoming, and cafe style, the price is it's worth it because this is not "ah carry-out" this is take out and next time I will sit in, order & eat. I'm a sucker for a chinese donut but wait...they also have Thai food and no MSG so no feeling hungry an hour after eating (what more can I ask for?) Went on a weekday evening to pick-up dinner. It's definitely a take-out place, there are only a few tables and chairs available. I went in and ordered my take-out and didn't have to wait longer than 15 mins for my food (I ordered hunan shrimp and the mixed veggies). The food was pretty good, tastes like standard 'chinese' food-it's not anything special- but still delicious. The portions they sell are on the bigger side. The thai portion of their menu was limited though, so don't go here if you're looking for a specific thai plate -they had curries and pad thai and a couple other thai food items. If I could give this place ZERO star I would but unfortunately this is the lowest I could go to. Since most of the reviews here on Yelp suggests that this place is good, my husband and I decided to give it a try. My husband ordered their sweet and sour chicken and I ordered the chicken pad thai. Horrible horrible decision! My pad thai did not taste like pad thai at all, the chicken was either old or made out of plastic. They rush you when they take your order and then by the time you get there to pick it up, It's not right. And catch an attitude with you because you ask why your order is wrong. They have decent customer service. The food isn't anything outstanding. If you are in the mood for typically Chinese carryout then this is the place to go. I do frequent often since it's walking distance from my house. I usually have the steak and cheese or fired chicken with fried rice. Both items aren't the best I've had but they are good.
